Car sellers used to write for sale on engine oil cans or paste a paper with for sale on d engine oil can and place dem on d car. But it became too much of a burden to write d for sale on d engine oil cans so they just place d cans on d car and buyers would understand that its for sale. This just extended to other plastic bottles

Business centers were not rampant those days.
People will just use paint to write "for sale" on the engine oil gallons, pour water into the gallon so it wont fall off and then place the gallon on top of the car.

If you get a schengen visa from Portugal, you can travel directly to Germany. But I won't advice that. You might have to explain to the immigration officer why you applied for a visa to Portugal and then travel to Germany.

My advice is to travel to Portugal first, then you can move to Germany either with a flight or train.
