Highly debatable....especially using the clause "way more liberal". I dont think this could even be objectively determined.

However, i think the Northerners are less liberal due to Islam playing a major part. The religion has historically known to preach conservation and less "in your face" kinda lifestyle.

Christianity on the other hand has grown to become less strict and conservative. And since majority of Southerners especially Igbos are christians, they are bound to be more liberal in lifestyle, dressing, exposure etc.... Not saying Yorubas arent also liberal, but you would agree with me that a sizeable proportion are Muslims (even tho they might not be fanatic as the Northerners).

Let me share my experience as a doctor to help enlighten women here

A patient of mine with twin gestation and the leading twing was breech (coming out with the buttocks) was adivce for csection.

She refused. She said she can never have her first delivery through operation.

When labor started, she visited traditional birth attendants and boom after delivery of the feet and both and the hands, the head got stucked

Then tried everything possible for another 24 hours and yet the head could not come out.

Thereafter she came back to the hospital and I did a csection for her. The head was decapitated and the second twin was already dead.

So, u see, doctors request for surgery not only because u cannot pull through but when they feel there is risk of losing the baby (something called fetal distress)

I feel sorry for those who choose to listen to market women talk.

Had a similar experience with a transverse lie. Her own problem was the husband tho who insisted on vaginal delivery in a TBA.

SUMMARY: They came back with a dead fetus and ruptured uterus in a Para 1 mother. Very disheartening.

Sorry, but it does. Artherosclerosis is just arthero (arterial wall) and sclerosis (hardening due to fibrosis). Continous deposition of fat or any embolus would cause continous sclerosis and involvement of more blood vessel.

You definitely got my message wrong. There are young people with hypertension, however the most associable factor is age, as it is non-modifiable whereas you can control obesity, smoking, etc.

And making a diagnosis of hypertension is more than just having a high BP; sorry, i might not be able to explain that to you in lay terms.

But trust me, developing hypertension at a younger age than 40 might be rare; although presence of genetic and lifestyle factors b4 that age increases the risk. In all though, hypertension is a disease of theories....different studies produce different results so tommorrow, i could be wrong again.

I believe age is a more associable factor to developing high blood pressure due to accumulated artherosclerosis. Although you are right to include genetic factors as a non-modifiable factor along with other modifiable factors that predispose to Hypertension

Nigeria is an English speaking "country" colonized by Great Britain; hence why we cant be called English. A tribe is an homogenous group of people unified by blood ties, culture and dialect. As much as Okun remain a dialect of Yoruba, the people who speak this dialect are Yorubas.
