Amya: Help her build a fanbase that will even topple Mercy and Tacha's. If you really have no problem with her winning the show then cool. I can count on one hand 5 people I think are more deserving of being the bigbrother winner than her. I don't hate at all and I like her more than some of the HM. But she's not my winner. That's why you arent solely determining the winner. So rest. The girl came in to the house like other HMs to win. You getting angry that she is not entitled to having fans is petty. |

P0c0p0c0: No offense, Yorubas are way more Liberal than Igbos. The Northerners are the major conservatives in Nigeria. Highly debatable....especially using the clause "way more liberal". I dont think this could even be objectively determined. However, i think the Northerners are less liberal due to Islam playing a major part. The religion has historically known to preach conservation and less "in your face" kinda lifestyle. Christianity on the other hand has grown to become less strict and conservative. And since majority of Southerners especially Igbos are christians, they are bound to be more liberal in lifestyle, dressing, exposure etc.... Not saying Yorubas arent also liberal, but you would agree with me that a sizeable proportion are Muslims (even tho they might not be fanatic as the Northerners). Hope that wasnt me just rambling...well!!! |

BluntBoy: Which one is accumulated artherosclerosis again?
Artherosclerosis is artherosclerosis. It doesn't accumulate. Sorry, but it does. Artherosclerosis is just arthero (arterial wall) and sclerosis (hardening due to fibrosis). Continous deposition of fat or any embolus would cause continous sclerosis and involvement of more blood vessel. So i am right to say accumulated artherosclerosis |

Yewandequeen: dear i have friends that are below 30,not obesed and are managing HBP. The truth is majority have it but they don't know since they don't do check ups. You definitely got my message wrong. There are young people with hypertension, however the most associable factor is age, as it is non-modifiable whereas you can control obesity, smoking, etc. And making a diagnosis of hypertension is more than just having a high BP; sorry, i might not be able to explain that to you in lay terms. But trust me, developing hypertension at a younger age than 40 might be rare; although presence of genetic and lifestyle factors b4 that age increases the risk. In all though, hypertension is a disease of theories....different studies produce different results so tommorrow, i could be wrong again. |

Yewandequeen: HBP isn't age related. Could be hereditary and could be caused by other man made factors I believe age is a more associable factor to developing high blood pressure due to accumulated artherosclerosis. Although you are right to include genetic factors as a non-modifiable factor along with other modifiable factors that predispose to Hypertension |

safarigirl: you want to use English and confuse yourself
What the English man refers to as tribes, is ethnicities. Have you ever wondered why they only use tribes yo refer to ethnic groups in 3rd world countries? Have you ever heard the term 'tribes' used for any European group? Or you think these countries aren't all tribes? Scottish, Irish and Welsh are all 'tribes' and they speak the language of the English tribe.
Don't get yourself worked up.
PS: That screenshot validates nothing. Laughable. Wallow in ignorance, my dear. You actually believe the Welsh, Irish and Scottish speak English as their first language? Lmao. safarigirl: I am not challenging Nigerian men to approach scientists, because I know they don't have it in them. People that don't have balls to approach Mercy, why will yhey approach scientists and political or sports analysts? Nigerian men are weak.
If you see any Nigerian man approaching women with brains, they usually have foreign exposure. All these local peacocks can only target women they can throw 5k on, that is their standard. Even the ones that target women like Mercy, get international exposure. You are an intelligent woman and nationalistic stereotypes shouldnt be your thing. What's in the Nigerian Y chromosomes that breeds low self esteem? Why do you think all Nigerian men are unicellular simpletons with the same robotic program? And who eventually marries these myriads of intelligent Nigerian women? Or are you telling me, we have those in short supply too? |

safarigirl: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, all speak English, affiliated to England, but they are not English. Is that a better comparison for you? Are you telling me they arent countries? How is that a better comparison? Why not tell me a tribe who is being referred as speaking another tribe's language? And for these countries you mentioned? Please widen your knowledge about them. They are not English speaking countries. Although their languages oringinated from the Anglo-Saxon tribes. Which is similar to my explanation about Okun. There is currently no pure homogenous Yoruba dialect. All are derivatives of the original Yoruba dialect mixed with borrowed phrases and interjections. If this added picture doesnt do it for you....I'm sorry i cant help you

safarigirl: If not for Big Brother, Seyi doesn't have the balls to approach a woman like Mercy
You think name is what girls like Mercy eat? Seyi is so insecure, he gets upset about girls wearing make-up and controls what hid girl does. A man like that cannot approach a girl like Mercy, this dude that was in a secret room with common Tacha and slept on the floor. You think it is by shouting and bragging about a name?
Seyi is just a privileged brat with deep-seated insecurities. He is nobody without the Awolowo name. He knows it is the only thing that makes him matter, a 32-year old man living in the shadows of his grandfather. pathetic.
Seyi is a wimp, men like that can only talk shiit about independent and confident women like Mercy from a distance, they can never approach them, even less proposition them.
PS: Mercy ain't no 5k ho Lol....is this rant borne out of hatred or bias? My opinion though is: You dont need substance to bleep a girl like Mercy. All you need is a lousy pocket, which can be available to any Dick and Harry. Using Mercy as a yardstick for confident and independent women is laughable at best and borderline ludicrous. There are women making innovative accomplishments in various fields: Science, Politics, Sports etc; not twerking to the latest jam in the club. These are the models I was expecting you to challenge men to approach!!! Not air-headed bimbos |

safarigirl: Nigeria is an English-speaking nation. Are we English? Different contexts. I expect better, as nationality is a very loose word compared to tribe. Nigeria is an English speaking "country" colonized by Great Britain; hence why we cant be called English. A tribe is an homogenous group of people unified by blood ties, culture and dialect. As much as Okun remain a dialect of Yoruba, the people who speak this dialect are Yorubas. Kapich? |

Mariinee: The fact that Okun people are Yoruba-speaking doesn't mean you have to call them Yoruba. They are Okun, not Okun-Yoruba or whatever. Are you sure you read what you just typed? We are Yoruba speaking but not Yoruba? How in the world does that make any sense? The word Yoruba is associated with a group of dialects including Okun in addition to Ijebu, Egba, Ijesha etc. Your last sentence makes me cringe as it would only be valid if other dialects in Yoruba land add Yoruba- as a suffice. Please, keep your ignorance to yourself....dont disrespect a whole dialect |

They are as Yoruba as the Ika people in Delta State are Igbo. The Okun girl I knew, told me categorically "We are not Yoruba", unless you're Okun, I think I'll take her word I am Okun, from Egbe, Yagba in Kogi State. Dont be misled; Okun is a dialect of Yoruba. |

Amya: This back and forth started because I said Mike came to Nigeria to take advantage of an opportunity he might never get again in Britain sportwise. If you like keep twisting like a snake, it doesn't change the facts for what is. The only chance of Mike ever going for an international championship competition ever again is Nigeria and that's exactly why he's here.
Good evening Funny how that doesnt change anything. Irrespective of his reasons, he decided to represent a country he has a right to by birth. Why you find that ludicrous is a billion dollar question? Every sport athlete has a motivation to be successful, irrespective of the banner they fly. If any of our football imports have succeeded in breaking to their European teams (Iwobi in England, an example), I doubt they would think of Nigeria. So give the guy a break,he wants to be successful, then let him. Would you prefer him giving up on his dreams? And I'm not even talking about BBN now |
