You might be hundred percent sure and still wrong. The human brain has a way of reflecting its opinion confusingly as a fact.

And if Tupac isn’t a poet, then Vincent Van Gogh isn’t a painter.

And using universally held beliefs as a clause is dubious cause no belief is truly universally held. As long you believe you perform in the art of poetry, you are a poet. What any other person in the ‘universe’ thinks matters less.

Poetry is like the process , while poem is the finished product ....and not everyone who uses the poetic form of writing can be called a poet .

It would be unnecessarily pedantic to claim a difference between poetry and poem especially in the context Nengi was assuming. In every instance, poetry (art) would result in a poem.

And saying not every poetry is done by a poet is synonymous to saying not all who act are actors. It is factually incorrect. As long as you are poetic, you can call yourself a poet. It is a loosely defined term.
