unless Jim Iyke confirms this, i cant believe it for this simple reason: Are you saying Jim Iyke will still be able to perform excellently well as requested as requested by the script at gunpoint. I dont think so or is it not a movie shooting? |
I am among those that have not been able to effectively calculate their ovulation period. I have been married for 2½ years without any fruit of the wmb I have my February menstruation on 25th, march on 25th & April on 22nd. Each of these was normally for 5 days. But I saw my menses again on Monday may 18th and slightly on 19th but had not seen it since the. I have sex with my husband on Sunday may 17th. Can I be pregnant? A week before that I had some pain on the lower part of my abdomen and I went to the clinic but after taking my blood sample for test, the Dr says she didn’t see any sign of pregnancy & gave me some drugs but also referred me to do a scan. Can you advise based on this @igbalajobi did you have sex with your husband before the 17th? Yes kathi, I did had sex with my husby severally before 17th. Update: 1. I have been having abdominal pain at the lower part of my abdomen and can’t really the cause 2. is it right for me to continue having sex with my husband during the period of uncertainty of whether I am pregnant or not. Kathy, thanks for your efforts. Pls refer to my various threads with you above. February 25th, March 25th April 22nd May 18 June 16, It’s normally 5 days on each occasion except in May where I had it just 1½, I will let you know long this will last Now I saw it again this morning and it was very very thick. You remember I asked if it is safe t0 continue having sex with my husby and you said yes. I and my usby are thinking probably I could have conceive especially for having it for just a day last time and the very thick menses I had this morning may actually means loosing it even it is just for 3 weeks. 1. Is it possible to conceive for ¾ weeks and loose it for whatever reason including sex? 2. Does the thick menses suggest miscarriage? 3. I still have problem identifying my ovulation period but only rely on the 14 days before menses that you suggest. Can you help on the next probable date and the right time to initiate sex with my husby? Kindly advise as me & my husby are under family pressure to seek spiritual help which we are not in support as we believe God will do at His appointed time but we want to be medically sure we are getting it right. Once again, thanks and stay blessed |

I just received a text message from FITC that the test had been postponed and future date will be announced later. |
I am not sure the test had been postponed as I have not received any notification to that effect. I got a mail on Monday inviting me for the test & I received the letter yesterday when i got home. Meanwhile, Does anybody in the house have an idea what the test will be like. Is it going to be in GMAT, or skill/profession related format. I guess FITC is conducting the test for NDIC |
Hi Neyo, It's unfortunate in most parts of the world that peope dont get work based on what they study. Sociology is one of the lesser competitive course if we rate it according to level of demand & rewards. But what matters most is your intelligent and abilities. Basically you can pursue career in HR which exists in all companies but you will have to make sure you have other trainings and post qualifications to make you competitve like CIPM, NIM and MBA. With those, you can enter into administrative and HR settings. Do you know that about 3 banks CEO in Naija read Soc as 1st degree? So that means you have to broaden your horizons though additional qualifications. It can be a rewarding career. |
It sure does. tx As for the outcome of the research, i seem to be more confused after reading the site. They are more of saying there is no clear-cut difference and that PM is the old term while Hr is advanced. I am printing all that i researched (about 8 page in ms word), take it home & read to see if I can get something out. Hoping to share more with & learn more from you & others in the house. Afterall you be experienced mentor ![]() |
Chinye, 2 things please. There are lots of different opinions and I think it is the best if you can read about all these and then try to see if you can make out something. I googled the question "diff btw hr & pm" and i have countless of sites which I am still going through. I will advise you do same. secondly, I just wrote a test for the position of Hr generalist and i am still waiting until employment before knowing what am I to do. I just applied because I want to pursue a career in HR. Is it different from normal HR Manager or less in position. What does it entails functionally? Will be grateful for your opinion. |
WHO IS ENJOYING THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOUR? LOOK AT IT THIS WAY, The luxury Cars, Toyotas, Land Cruisers, Rav 4's; Mercedes that are parked 8 hours driven 30 min to the office and 30 minutes back home 5 days out of 7 (i.e. 5 out of 168 hours in a week) And whilst you sit on a not-so-comfortable chair in a small room called an office, your Mansion lies idle with only the House Girl enjoying herself to the 'fried egg and chocolate / Pasta/Fried Plantain breakfast', relaxing on that very expensive leather sofa that we only sit on when we get home, and being so tired, we just doze off to sleep, anyway. When tired of work, she takes a break, turns on the Plasma TV and spoil herself with the fully subscribed DSTV, perhaps with her next-door-houseboy boyfriend!; of course if she feels bored, she can always turn on that brand name Hifi and swing a bit, And whilst all that is happening where are you? , you are eating a cheap take away lunch (chips dume) everyday and, oh by the way, there is no breakfast really, because it's just a cup of tea a few slices of bread probably with some left-overs from yesterday's supper (for the fortunate few). Every moment you pray that it could just get to 4pm so that you can drive home and join, the House Girl!! (Poor you!). So this is your miserable lot for the rest of your working life , by the time you retire, you'll have no pleasure in them anymore. By now your children would have joined in the Rat Race of finding a good job working very hard and never enjoying the fruits of their labours, its all vanity isn't it? SO MY QUESTION IS, WHO IS ENJOYING THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOUR BETTER, YOU OR YOUR HOUSE GIRL? |

some please tell this man to increase his salary to a billion a year, but stop the CORRUPTION!!!! henchman; I read you my man. They are stealing billions even when they are earning more, not to talk of now earning less. It will only make them more gullible to steal more. see the carton in Guardian today and understand the whole camaraderie[img][/img] |
Once again thanx ladun, Let's say I am just trying to know my worth. I desire a career wehre i can practice more & learn of Admin./HR but i am earning between about 120k now as admin. secretary/computer operator and even i wont want to go for less with qualification or not too less for my career |
Career vs. salary earned & NDIC recruitment test I have a degree and MBA. All my life, I have been dreaming of career as top administrator or HR personnel. Since my graduation three years ago, I have been working in a one man biz firm who I must confess pays above average. As admin manager, I earn 100k after tax monthly. I started on 40k but am now earning 100k after 3 years. But one ugly side of the owner is that he fires at will and at the slightest provocation (just like all 0ne-man biz). Since I joined the company 3 years ago, I have seen as many as 40 staffs sacked even though the staff strength is between 25 – 30. Now I craved for a change in a bigger firm where I can be assured of job security and where I can face real admin/hr tasks and develop my career but I would not want to go for anything less than 100k as monthly pay. If I stay in this company I know I can earn like 150k within a year because the owner reviews salary on a yearly basis until this global credit crunch sets in but can as well get sacked within a year. But some people would tell me if I can survived for 3 years where average of 15 staff are sacked in a year, it must I fit into the system and good enough which means I should not be afraid of job loss. In as much as I want a job as pure admin/hr personnel; I am saddened when I read thread that most admin/hr manager in a medium size companies are earning even less than what I am earning meanwhile I do more of computer/secretary/Admin works which involve printing, filling, handling office supplies, etc. I am in a fix and need your candid advice N.B. I just got a mail inviting me for a recruitment test. Does anybody have idea of the test format and also any idea about job prospects at NDIC |
