Hello Nlanders, I need mature advice please. I'm a 29years old man....I dropped out of University for business and I'm making stable income but now, I want to go back to school (abroad) which I have started my admission processing. Next year, I will be 30years old and some guys are advising me to get married since I have the money to take care of my family and my studies.

I'm confused even though I wish to get married too but still, I don't know what to do. Please I need mature advise if I should just go ahead or shun marriage for
now.

This is a case of priority my friend. I would like to get some facts here> what is de length of ur studies/program (years) do u intend heading back to business after schooling?, on what grounds do u require de education for> is it in ur business/work or u jst want to be educated, I need to know? If any of these is ur desire wich superceeds marriage for now den u need to go ahead wt ur school & marry after. When u are tru & have settled ursef & hopefully bkom financially stable u go ahead & marry as most girls may if not would fancy educated hubby.

In your post I responded to, you stated nothing about funding or scholarship, and you clearly stated that it is fine if the applicant's proof of funds are up to N2m as long as inflows and outflows are "good". I dispute this because it is incorrect and misleading. Your mention of scholarship funding only came up in your subsequent post where you stated that less than N2m is fine if he has a scholarship. Both posts are mostly inaccurate, and at best vague.

To specifically address your second post, less than N2m in the account is sufficient only if the amount not covered by the scholarship is significantly less than N2m. Your posts made a number of blanket statements that I dispute, but there's nothing about my response to your posts that is meant to get you angry.

Disagreeing with your post is not an "angry" attack.

Then u really have to read line by line to see where I mentioned funding/scholarship coz if u review my post very well as regards dat u will see it & not coming up 2 attack in such manner.

I'm afraid your advice about funds is both incorrect and misleading. According to CIC, at least one year's worth of tuition plus at least $10k CAD for living expenses must be shown the proof of funds document. The inflow and outflow of the account is secondary to that (I would argue this is mostly unimportant, unless there's a lodgement problem). This has been discussed repeatedly on this thread, and I'm honestly surprised at your assertion encouraging the submission of account balances that are much less that the required CIC amount. Your advice is harmful, because it will almost always result in an "insufficient funds" denial.

You just went ahead to attack my post angrily without seeing de funding/scholarship aspect i wrote... how on earth will that amount be able to cater for de person if he/she is not on funding or scholarship

Been trying to track my application with the reference number CALA/211016/0013/01 and my DOB on the VFS Tracking Site but the response i get is "No details found matching the input values".

Can anybody help with how to go about it.

(1) My sponsor is my mums twin brother and he stays in Canada, a citizen to be precise. He earns $3,639cad weekly and his closing balance is $1,800...

Please I want to know If his balance will affect my application .. though he has paid my fees already.

(2) I got admitted to study global business management (postgraduate) jan 2017, I just submitted yesterday and did my biometric.. Please I want to know if my application is already late for Jan..

First, calculate his balance to know the equivalent in naira, if up to 2million but with good inflow & outflow then u are good, remember not to lodge cash>> and show proof of ur fees payment by him.. I hope his strong Canadian status doesnt play in..

Secondly, since u've submitted u dnt need to bother, jst make sure u do a steady follow up of ur application to knw hwfr, & ensure u get all corresponding messages e.g application received message and application forwarded message, above all pray for faster processing like everyone else would do, then the highest tin would b deferral if late while keeping hope alive, provided the embassy wana issue you visa by Gods grace.. hope i answered you?

I think the first one means your waec/neco result statement since it is what is issued after secondary school completion here, then the second is your secondary sch certificate.. my thought though

Good you've resolved your previous issue. The same application number quoted from the previous account and the new one is your application serial number on the CIC database and assigned to that application. Even though you link your application over again with the same personal details and other details,it still will be same application number. Your study permit application has that identifier. I don't think there is anything to worry over.

PLEASE I NEED CLARIFICATION ON THIS.. After paper application, I created MyGCKey account and linked my paper application online successfully by providing all required information/details and was given an application number, BUT was unable to access it because I didn't undaztand it then, due to that I deleted the GCKey account and recreated another MyGCkey account still giving the same information and details of the previous one and linked it again and was given same application number.. HOPE THIS ISNT A PROBLEM DUE TO SAME INFO INPUT GIVEN IN THE TWO ACCOUNT. but remember I deleted 1 of de account

I had to revoke the previous GCKey and register another one and I have undaztood it now, wasn't clear to me before as I thought I will check it directly from my sign up page. PLEASE I hope it doesn't matter as I created another GCKey account with the same information of the previous one.. but the all have the same application number
