I think the application gets to the VO after eligibility check which is done by trained staffs, because i observe that the VO remark on gcms file does not correlate with documents submitted. Once your bank statement is not big then they conclude, this present method is affecting genuine students, and the emotional torture is something else, couple with constant mail from proposed school.

Well, I believe every VO is trained to carry out it's duties well, if it is abt big bank statement most people used a big one, but at the end what was the outcome? & yes I agree the current method is causing a lot of emotional trauma to prospective students. God help us.

yeah, I remember. There was no concrete reason stated on the Gcms note, only reason for refusal and the messages I sent when the application has passed normal processing time

If you saw refusal reasons on ur gcms notes which u applied for when ur application was still within processing time, it means that a decision on ur app. had been made before now, but the just waited to send u update abt it.

Okay, remember asking u if the notes u ordered was a smart move, what does ur refusal note say? & it's cool u are reapplying for ur gcms.

After exactly 27 weeks, my application has been refused. A final decision hasn't been given yet.

After every every, I was refused based on financial reasons. I wonder how they would deny someone who has full funding and yearly stipend of 12,000 CAD based on financial reasons. It's really sad.

This made me speechless, same way I was when mine occurred, so sorry abt that bro, pick up ur docs. analyze refusal reason, work on it & refire.

very wise move...if youve waited for more than normal processing time, u could request ur note, requesting for ur note is not only wen u get a refused visa app, gcms note cud also state the status of ur app

To your statement, new evidence will NOT be considered for a reopening of the refused application. Only error of facts or administrative errors on the part of the visa officer are considered regarding reopening a refused application.

I know my application was refused. My application is linked online and I have called VFS, they said it hasn't been dispatched. No correspondence letter showing online till date. What can i do?

At this point the best u can do is to keep tracking ur app. via VFS web to know when it will be dispatched, then exercise a little patience to see if ur letter will drop, if it doesn't u may have to reach IRCC & notify them.

Chief! this means ur app. was bounced, have u tried tracking it to know if its dispatched or not & did u link ur app. online, if u did check well in msgs ur correspondence letter shud be there.

Thanks.. I would have but can't find a course for Masters in dat. The only one i could go into is History "canadian history" which is a form of intl studies.
I tried my best in putting up my SOP n telling them my specialisation n d reason why canada was chosen.

This is not easy, but i think putting up a convincing sop will do the job, try harder bro.

As regards this purpose of visit, I jst dnt know wat to do or wat d visa officer thinks. Am going for MA History at MUN n undergrad degree in History and International Studies.

why not go for MA in history & int'l studies, VO's might be assuming history alone isn't in line with ur UG course, & how convincing was ur SOP?
