Ryan03:the way you say it gives me the impression that you think feminism is a bad thing. as a guy I believe women have equal rights just as men, that also makes me a feminist (check the word up). secondly I never talked to her, so she could have simply mind her business. what if I had lashed back and things escalates, do you think she would have a case after her rude intrusion into my conversation. you dont need a placard or need to be a girl to be a feminist and it is not a bad thing to be one. but it is madness to attack people you dont know in blind defence of girl rights. the girl was a radical and it was clear she was doing her possible best not to call me names |
padi94:extremely crazy. liverpool was just dominant |
J111333:she didnt know my story either. I for one wasn't really having a good evening. it was the only reason I remained quiet. I am not quick with words but my temper do escalates during underserved red faced moments. I was the one at the recieving end of her venting and I did not like it one bit |
lilmax:of course, there was nothing feministic about her response, it was simply a harsh retaliation to my statement which she percieved was a jab to undermine women. but I never did. if anything, I presented myself as a weak mouthed fellow who could be outdone with words. As far as she is concerned, she just stood against a sexist who thought women doesnt have equal right to speak in public. that my friend is feminism. but the funny thing is that she never knew I said what I said for humor when others saw it. Do you know why. it is because she already had a predetermined notion that guys only see women as inferior. |

after watching the Liverpool and Tottenham game, I decided to get some foodstuffs from a nearby store this evening. when I got there, i met a couple of other customers, so i idly waited for my turn. it took quite some time but I was finally attended to. during the process of buying, some guys came around to buy as well. from their conversation it was apparent they were returning from the liverpool game so I easily chipped in. not too long after a young lady joined us, she was quiet and totally uninterested in our conversation, she just asked the seller for what she wanted and got an Immediate response which was odd since the store normally had a "first in, first out" queuing policy. I wasn't bothered as I normally let people have their way anytime I come to the store even though I came before them. the seller simultaneously attended to me and the girl, but it was obvious she was going to leave before me. at that point I saw two girls approaching us so I told the guys that I hoped the seller finish with me before the duo get to us because from previous experience girls tend to be sharp mouthed than me and always get attended to first b4 me. the guys laughed, and I smiled because they got the joke. funny enough the girls came around and without regard for the queue immediately asked for 3 bags of water. this provoked another round of laughter from the guys and even the seller due to my correct assessment. however my assessment didn't go down well with the other girl and she lashed at me. so you think because you are a guy, girls should not be able to make their claim. since I came here, you have been talking and now you seem to be having a problem with girls talking. seriously, you think girls should not be able to talk too. I just looked at her with confused amusement as she ranted angrily, while murmuring profanity under my breath as she embarrassed me. she immediately stormed out of the place when she finished ranting as if I was the vilest person on earth. l looked around me and got sympathetic looks from the guys and just smiled. I Immediately recounted everything I said to see where I could have caused an upset but there was none I could point out. what I said was purely meant as a joke. the way I said it showed that, everyone laughed, even the seller who was a girl also laughed so why would one person see only negativity in a sentence that never had one. I used sharp mouthed but there is nothing wrong with that or did she think I meant girls were parrots. realization dawned on me that I had just had a faceoff with a feminist and due to her insecurity she had totally misjudged everything I said and me as a person. I got very angry at that realization and looked at the direction she had gone through, and contemplated whether I should follow her so I can have an honest mind resetting conversation with her. I eventually let it go after convincing myself that she was the one with a sad soul and not me. At the end I simply understood what a lot of young girls see feminism to be and it wasnt close to what I read about the real thing. it was just a bitter mentality of women thinking that men hate them and reciprocating that hate is the only way of survival. if this is what most girls have there in their head then they have been taught a lie and it would be best they unlearn everything their brain was taught about feminism |

On Wednesday Lionel Messi picked up his European Golden Shoe award from last season and Cristiano Ronaldo might be ruing the day he said it was the best award compared to the balon d or. Last season Messi scored 36 goals, leaving him on 72 points because of the difficulty of La Liga, and topped Europe's goal scoring charts, beating Kylian Mbappe by three goals, or six points. The win meant the Barcelona forward captured his third Golden Shoe in-a-row and sixth overall, which will certainly hurt rival Ronaldo. Back in 2015 Ronaldo, who was winning his fourth shoe to Messi's three at the time, claimed it was the biggest award in football. Speaking to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf the Juventus forward said "The competition for the Golden Shoe also comes from other leagues. "I really love this award. It is the best award out there for me. Others can pick you as the best player, but an attacker's job is to make goals and I love that. I cannot deny that I love scoring goals." At the time of the statement Ronaldo was ahead on Golden Shoe awards and behind his rival on Ballon d'Ors but things have since changed. Messi won one more Ballon d'Or and the Juventus forward picked up two more, whilst the Barca man has won three Golden Shoes. That means the 32-year-old is now level with his rival on five Ballon d'Ors each but as far as goal scoring is concerned he leads 6-4, and the Argentinian is the joint oldest player to have won the scoring award, level with Eusebio. Earlier this year Messi won The Best FIFA Men's Player of the Year award for the first time although with the year Virgil van Dijk has had he is far from guaranteed to go back ahead in terms of Ballon d'Ors won. Ronaldo certainly isn't going to be happy finding out that by his own admission he isn't the best player. There's a good chance he's changed his mind about what the best award is. https://www.sportbible.com/football/funny-fails-rivalries-cristiano-ronaldo-once-claimed-golden-shoe-was-better-than-ballon-dor-20191016.amp.html |
He now has 27 goals more than messi but has played 145 games more. Last two years he had almost 50 goals over messi Last year he had close to 40 goals over messi Now he has just 27 over messi By the time both of them are done, messi will take this last record and the stats will show to unborn generations that messi bested him in everything and with lesser games. This is annihilation as we know it. Messi has won the war. Most world best award. messi Most golden shoe. Messi Most trophies Messi Most assist. Messi Most club goals. Messi Most dribbles. Messi Most solo goals. Messi I am waiting for the day someone will say who is better between pele and ronaldo as they have always done with messi |

The fallout from this week’s FIFA ‘The Best’ awards rumbles on. It's certainly always interesting to see who voted for who after the main award has been dished out. The fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has never voted for Lionel Messi for any individual award is rather amusing. There is naturally a rivalry between the two players that have competed for individual awards for the past decade. So much so that Ronaldo decided not to bother turning up for the ceremony in Italy. He probably didn’t want to sit and watch Messi go up on stage and collect the accolade. And it seems his fans didn’t particularly enjoy watching Messi win ‘The Best’ Men’s award. That’s because the vote for Sudan’s head coach Zdravko Lugarisic appears to have been photoshopped. Let us explain. FIFA revealed that Lugarisic had voted for 1) Lionel Messi, 2) Virgil van Dijk and 3) Mohamed Salah. However, images of the manger’s voting slip have cropped up online with his name and signature on it. And it appears to show that Lugarisic voted for 1) Mohamed Salah, 2) Sadio Mane and 3) Kylian Mbappe. But a closer inspection shows the slip is, in fact, photoshopped. A faint mark can be seen in the boxes where Lugarisic did actually vote but have attempted to be removed by one sneaky Ronaldo fan trying to cause a stir. And some fake quotes have even been attributed to him saying that he is supposedly “shocked to find out that his vote had gone to Messi.” Some fans will really do anything to tarnish Messi’s legacy... Below is the tweet of the fan and his subsequent exposure after Sudan FA confirmed their coach voted for messi https://www.givemesport.com/1508305-cristiano-ronaldo-fan-photoshops-sudan-managers-fifa-voting-slip?amp cc: lalasticala

The Nicaraguan FA, Fenifut, have clarified the situation involving Juan Barrera and his vote for Lionel Messi in FIFA's The Best awards. Barrera had claimed that he didn't vote in the awards despite FIFA's documents saying that he'd voted for Messi, the eventual winner. Instead, it was vice-captain Manuel Rosas who voted for Messi and the Nicaraguan FA have blamed the mix-up as an "administrative error." Rosas was chosen to vote in the awards by Henry Duarte, coach of the Nicaraguan national team, because he'd previously voted. "Fenitfut would like to clarify that this whole situation was a misunderstanding," the Nicaraguan FA said in a statement. Rosas voted for Messi first, then Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo in his top three for FIFA's Men's Player of the Year. tiwiex:only 3 man and the reason was because there was no signature. how is that rigged. why are you guys like this na |
but vidic best season stats beat him when they were compared I believe that revelation was part of the reason voters kinda changed their mind and went with messi. it was like "if Vidic or Terry didn't get recognised, why him now" I do agree with you that he is the best defender rite now. |
trustedward:I just read ur post and all that came to my mind was MUMU. why is there always a correlation between stupid comments and ronaldo fans. As for ur information fifa has called out the complainants and all of them has recognised it was either their fault or their country FA. imagine educated voters forgetting signatures. |
PAMPERME2Beauty:see ur mouth like countries and captains. fifa has adressed it and the liars have been put to shame. messi won, you panadols sorry penaldo fans should just rest before u all kill urself. 6 award. bloody 6 |
peterd53:no be small |
yungsmart:dont mind these guys, they are trying too hard. remove all the complainers votes and even give it to vvd or ronaldo, messi will still win. he is the man of the people. |
Olufela30:STFU you want to know the criteria. the criteria is whoever the voters pick with their bias and sentiments coming to play. I repeat, mane and salah played better than him last season / year and if most of the voters understand that the award is actually for the best player of the previous year and not for their favourite footballer then your man would have been in a more lowly position. |
honeric01 dont you think this should hit fp. |
oga only two people made that claim and none of them voted for van dijk or Ronaldo, so with or without their vote, messi would still have won. secondly FIFA could not have altered the results and still release it to the public. so it is either a case of voters madness or system malfunctions but definitely not rigging. lastly the complainers said they voted for salah which means the only possible alteration among the three nominees would be the displacement of ronaldo from third for fourth place salah and rightfully so if you ask me. Ronaldo did nothing on a personal level. |
Five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed an immensely successful debut season for Juventus in the Serie A last season, netting 21 goals in 31 games to help the Bianconeri defend their league title. However, he has struggled when it comes to taking free-kicks as statistics show that the striker is the second worst free-kick tacker in Serie A history, failing to find the back of the net in 18 attempts so far. As per Ultimo Uomo via Givemesport, the 34-year-old failed to score in 24 free-kick attempts including the UEFA Champions League, with stats showing that he could not get past the wall 15 times, missed the target twice and had his shot at goal saved by the goalkeeper seven times. Free-kicks taken: 24 Hit the wall: 15 Off target: 2 On target: 7 Goals: 0 Camillo Cianois is the only player above Ronaldo source: https://www.90min.in/posts/6463203-cristiano-ronaldo-is-statistically-the-second-worst-free-kick-taker-in-serie-a-history

the top 4 nominees for the best men player which was eventually won by messi has been met with some interesting revelations, especially with the recent development in which four different voters claimed their votes were either changed, rendered invalid or falsified. another interesting part is that all of these voters had previously picked salah as their man for the award. below are the names 1 Egypt coach Shawki Ghareeb and captain ahmed El-Mohammadi. the EFA has requested for an explanation from FIFA on why their head coach and captain votes had not been considered by the organisation in an attempt to appease salah after the star reacted angrily to the revelations that his compatriots had refused to cast their votes prompting him to remove Egypt footballer from his Twitter bio. the duo claimed that they picked the Egypt star as their first choice but neither of the votes were published by FIFA casting shade on the global federation transparency. To make matters worse, the only vote from Egypt that was published came from the journalist Hany Danial, who preferred Senegal’s Sadio Mané, Salah’s Liverpool teammate and only placing Egypt’s star player as his third pick, behind Portuguese ronaldo. 2. Sudan head coach Zdravko Lugarisic Zdravko Lugarisic took to social media to say that the votes published by FIFA, in his name, did not reflect his choice. He said that his first choice was Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, then kylain mbappe and sadio mane as second and third respectively while the FIFA website showed Messi, van dijk and sadio mane as his picks. 3. Nicaragua captain Juan Barrera Barrera claimed that he did not vote for any of the nominees but was suprised to find his names among captains that vote for messi claiming that his votes was falsified. FIFA Response FIFA in respect to the complaints explained that Egypt head coach and captain votes were considered invalid because they voted with Capital letters and there were absence of signatures which was a mandatory condition for votes to be considered valid. for Sudan coach and Nicaragua’s captain FIFA stated that the votes were published as recieved. No futher complaints while there have been no futher complaints from other voters there have mixed reactions among fans, with many of them feeling that salah could have displaced Ronaldo from third position and messi may not have won but this claims has been easily defused due to the gap in points between messi and van dijk, which is just as much as that between ronaldo and salah. Lionel Messi. 46 Virgil Van Dijk. 38 Cristiano Ronaldo. 36 Mohamed Salah. 26 source :https://www.africanews.com/2019/09/26/messi-s-fifa-win-stained-by-complaints-from-egypt-sudan-and-nicaragua/ |
I just read about the EFA, FIFA and salah saga. it is just a case of invalid voting process. the captain and coach of Egypt both claimed they voted for salah which fifa confirmed in a statement but they stressed that the duo votes were rendered invalid because of the usage of capital letters and absence of signatures. so no one can blame fifa and why did the media personnel representing Egypt vote for mane and Ronaldo before salah. that is serious beef |
ernieboy:second place gets 3pts so it was a very significant vote. also messi picking mane over him was honest as ronaldo was totally average and shouldn't even be in the top 3 for any personal accolade. lastly no matter how you try to justify it Ronaldo made a fool of himself with the choice of his votes that is why he is being mocked right now on social media and news outlet. |
ServantsOfTruth:ode. A predominantly white country and you expect to find black players. all white countries that have tons of black players were actually involved in the early slave trade either directly or as beneficiaries e.g England, France and evem portugal that started the first Nigeria slave market. read history slowpoke. read. |
this guy Don't know Messi..
