How do I cope with GF’s high body count?
I’ve been having trouble recently trying to deal with my partner’s past.
I am 29 years old and have been dating her 25 years old for well over a year, and honestly it has been amazing. She’s attentive, gives me reassurance, tells me she loves me every second she gets, and never invalidates my feelings. Our conversations are engaging, we always try our best to communicate our issues and resolve problems in a way that lets us both meet in the middle, and our intimate life is really good. All of this and then some, on paper she is the perfect person and partner.

Unfortunately, I’ve met a bit of a speed bump as of late that I could really use some advice for. I had always assumed her body count to be up there as she’s attractive, has a good personality, and is overall just a great girl. However, about 6 months into dating she revealed her count to be “no more than 40” in her words. On the contrary, she is the second person I’ve been intimate with so it came as a huge shock. I remember freezing at the time, just trying to process what I’d heard. Seeing my face she started to tear up, begging me not to leave her. I comforted her and told her I’m not going anywhere, so I put my feelings aside and tried to move on to the best of my ability. Now, 9 months after that day, I’m on the verge of losing my mind. I’ve told myself every day since then that I’m secure, body count doesn’t matter, I’m going to get over it, etc. I had actually been doing really good for a while until recently. It all came crashing down when I accidentally saw some old screenshots of texts with ex’s from 2+ years ago in her camera roll (no, I wasn’t snooping, just stumbled upon it). I know I shouldn’t have read them but I did, and it was vile. It looked like conversations from the worst smut you’ve ever read, just straight phone intimacy. There was much more than one screenshot (with multiple people involved) but I didn’t have the heart to keep looking. Her and I have an open communication style so right away I brought it up to her, and she reassured me that she was different then and she only spoke to guys like that because she thought it would make them like her. She expressed how she regretted ever acting that way and how she was used over and over by men manipulating her for sex. She started crying saying how she was naive and how she wished that she had met me sooner. She apologized profusely and deleted everything straight away. Here’s the thing, I have no reason to not believe her. In this relationship I’ve come to always place my trust in her and give her the benefit of the doubt. She is genuinely the sweetest person I’ve ever met, so I could never dislike her and she’s given me every reason to trust her. I guess what I just need now is advice… I’m so lost in my head it feels like I’m drowning. I admitted to her after seeing those screenshots that her sexual past bothers me (where I brought up her body count for the first time since speaking about it 9 months ago), and that it’s going to take time for me to feel better. She thanked me for being open and honest and has been doing nothing but catering her time and effort towards me to try and make me feel better. She has been so understanding and reassures me that I’m her person and she will only ever love me every time she’s seen me looking down. During those times I cant help but shed some tears, but she doesn’t care and holds me and reassures me throughout it all.

With that said, I’ve had some major anxiety the past week, kinda like the breath has been sucked from my lungs and there’s a pit in my stomach. I keep telling myself how “it’s okay” and that “she loves me” over and over again but my body won’t listen. I’ve been eating less, less focused at work, and losing sleep at night. I also know she’s been crying secretly as well, wiping her tears before I come into the room or I’ll hear sniffling from around the corner. I’m concerned that my mental state and overthinking is eventually going to kill this relationship if I don’t do something about it.

So, other than leaving her which is the absolute last thing I want to do, does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you so much in advance.

I’m a contract staff in a bank and my salary is 70k for now tho the bank is planning on increasing the pay this month. I’m dating this girl and I really love her so much. We’ve been dating for a year now and honestly we really love ourselves. Tho she’s a single mother tho but I don’t mind spending my life with her.
She’s a worker and she even earns better salary than me, and we’re very comfortable sharing things together.

The problem now is I opened to my mum about my relationship with her and my intentions to settle down. She immediately kicked against it. Why? Because she feels since I’m the last born and my elder brothers are yet to get married so I’m not even supposed to even talk about marriage. I’m almost 30 and I think I know what’s at stake when it comes to settling down and I’m willing to take my chances as a man. But my mum is failing to see reasons..
she feels im not ready, I don’t have a good job, and because she earns better than me so I shouldn’t even talk about getting married.

Note that I’ve already discussed my introduction with with her family by January and making plans to visit my babe’s parents but now my mum is against it already and I don’t think I can go back on my plans.

Should I go ahead to do the introduction without letting my mum know and wait to see if she’ll eventually consent or I should disappoint my girl and her family and cancel all plans? I don know how she’ll take it and I really love her so much..

Chief Justice Olukayode Ariwoola has been sighted in London pretending to be a physically-challenged old man, Peoples Gazette learnt today, in what Supreme Court sources said was a clandestine preparation for a meeting with President-elect Bola Tinubu.
Mr Ariwoola’s movement was exposed to The Gazette as Mr Tinubu was arriving in London for what his team claimed was a relaxation trip after a hectic campaign that preceded his declaration as Nigeria’s president-elect last month. But Mr Tinubu kept his trip to London secret until it was exposed on Wednesday afternoon by Sahara Reporters, which said the trip was a medical emergency.
It was learnt that Mr Ariwoola departed Nigeria on March 11 via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He was pushed in a wheelchair through the terminals to board a British Airways flight, our sources said.

Upon arrival in London, Mr Ariwoola, 64, was also wheeled into a hotel downtown, where he has remained ever since. But immediately after checking into the hotel, Mr Ariwoola abandoned his wheelchair and started moving around the facility unaided. The Supreme Court head is not known with any physical disabilities.
“He has been moving about in the hotel without any wheelchair,” a source familiar with the CJN’s activities at the London accommodation told The Gazette. “He was standing on his own in the elevator just yesterday.”

I was selected for interview in Abuja for the position of offline customer acquisition executive role.

Hmm.. I’ve heard so many stories about it and some people are of the opinion that it may be spiritual attack. But I don’t want to believe it is.

Hello Nairalanders.. I’m in severe pains right now. As I’m typing, I don’t know what else to do again. It’s not about me but about my dad. He just went numb all of a sudden. He’s never been sick before.. till he was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed of partial stroke. He spent a week in the hospital and after many physiotherapy session and series of test.. the doctor confirmed him to be medically okay and he was discharged and stated that he should continue to undergo physiotherapy.

The problem now is that he’s unable to move his left hand and feet. His speech is now impaired. I hate to see my dad bedridden and it breaks me down. Tho I’ve been assured that local herbs and local physiotherapists will make him recover fast.

Please Nairalanders, i need your help on the fast recovery method for stroke. I implore all the local doctors with vast knowledge or those that have similar experience to please share with me. I want my dad to recover fast.
