The protests, the arrest of his lawyer, the court statement all look like a coordinated activity. |
Maybe the funds is drying up and the ipob leader has no way to pay his lawyers. No wonder he instructed the other counsel to raise funds using the rising sun logo. Now Kanu will discover that his followers are tired of donating to a lost cause. |
That should have happened long ago if the crime was unlawful protest The government is just catching up to the ethnic undertone in arresting some participants of an "unlawful" protest and spearing the organiser who was also at the said protest |
Tinubu take it easy o. This is 2025 |
Bacteria8:That is a fat lie. Give us the data. PDP won Bayelsa according to INEC |
So who's paying him now? People without integrity will always blame others for their actions. Was your review of Hero beer wrong? If Reno gave you a beer that taste very delicious will it matter if you gave an honest review no matter the political implications? The problem this one has is that there are many gullible Nigerians that worship melanin deficient skinned people |
This guy is walking around life imprisonment. Better allow lawyers to argue your case for you ![]() Oratory is different from legal defence. I wish him all the best |
Hakimi wins ![]() No other person |
sreamsense:Running away does not absolve you of a crime. If anyone should be arrested it is Sowore the organiser of the "unlawful event" who was also at the event himself. There are video evidence online that he indeed commit "the crime". Now you said he ran away. Okay does that take his "crime" away? |
Nawa o That was quick. |
Tolani ![]() |
DaddyJapan:If the crime was that they participated in an unlawful protest citing court order. Surely the organiser who was also at the protest should be arrested. Whether a bullet hit a protester or not is a question of location at the time of violence. There was no violence from the protesters to the best of my knowledge. Like you cited the only violence against these protesters was from the police firing tear gas. Running away from the police does not absolve you of a crime if indeed a crime was committed. So if your logic is that Sowore ran away and his crime vanished then the whole arrest is injustice. |
What about the organiser of the rally? I am not understanding the Nigerian Police. So Sowore that organised the rally is free but some protesters were arrested. Did they destroy public property? NO. Did they injure anyone? NO Did they loot any shop? NO They have a right to peaceful protest. Tinubu should prevail on this overreach by the Nigerian Police. |
A post doc and a professor? |
Silly statement. Football is governed by rules. You lost because you didn't qualify. |
Gowon was the Head of State, Ojukwu was the governor of Eastern region under Gowon's command. To threaten your commander in Chief with cessation is treason. Well he tried his luck and lost and sent his people backwards by 100 years. The rest is history. |
Iyawo kan, wahala kan Iywao meji, wahala meji |
Obi talks too much sha |
Everybody is thinking about 2031. To get their wish in 2031 they need to support Tinubu in 2027. Tinubu would likely choose his successor as he did in Lagos and arguably still doing. It's not the love of Tinubu or the APC but the best vehicle for their personal ambitions. They will overwork for Tinubu in 2027 to show they are the best to deliver 2031. I pity Atiku and Obi at this stage cos they will be beaten balablu in 2027 if things remain thesame |
Who be coalition again? |
This one is warming up for hire ![]() Politicians and dribbling. By next week now he would be singing "on your mandate" |
Illiteracy is a disease |
Coalition of rejected politicians. This is confusion The highest ranking ADC member in Kogi state who is currently in the House of reps (Hon Leke Abejide) is openly supporting Tinubu. ADC is not serious |
Which party is the coalition party again? |
There is playoffs |
Wrong decision. What is wrong with these guys? You want to take 6 months to handover power or make it difficult for the next administration? Even the US do handover in less than 80 days. What are you handing over in Nigeria that would require six months after election victory? Court process should not be rushed either. Let the judiciary do their job. Why must a judgement be given because of time limit not based on facts. There must be a time frame for filing complaint but you cannot legislate completion of legal cases. It can go as long as it runs. This set of legislatures should all be retired. You changed the national anthem and suddenly no one knows how to sing the national anthem including the legislature that changed it. Now you want to destroy the electoral process. To what end? |
Shagari granted amnesty to Ojukwu who led millions to their death in his agitation for Biafra and committed treason against the Nigerian state. This is the essence of presidential pardon. To give pardon to those who do not deserve it |
9jasmart:America holds presidential election in November and swear in the president in January a period of less than 80 days. You cannot command the judiciary that they must rush into judgement within 45 days. This bill is taking us backwards not forward |
You can't rush the court process. Leave it as it is. Don't break it |
This man sha. He talks too much. |
The title means Head of Fulanis in Lagos. A recognition that they are aliens in Lagos but they have their leader Lagos is very accommodating and everyone has lived in mutual peace with no party disrespecting the other until ipob showed their hand. Tinubu appointed several Ibos into his cabinet as governor. Nobody made any noise Many Tapa families are now indigenous Lagos families Now you have ipobs aka developers saying Lagos is smelling, Lagos is no man's land, they wanted to burn down Tinubu's investments in Lagos, burnt down BRT bus terminals, burnt down world class forensic Lab at the direction of Nnamdi Kanu. The Ibos destroyed their good will and it will take decades to rebuild that. Ontop of that the Tinubu that had done more for Ibos as a governor was rejected at the presidential ballot. Now that Tinubu became president despite Ibos non support, it makes it more complicated for Ibos. And I think being loud about nonsense is not a wise move for Ibos |
