Do you know that this was not the world God intended for man (us). We are in this situation today because of the consequence of Adam's sin. Yet there is a world much worse and more terrible than this current world and sadly that is the destination of all human beings. The bible calls it "the lake of fire" the second death.

According to scriptures, at the very beginning of human existence. God made man in His image and had fellowship with man. That is, God and man would have a chat, talk about things same way you talk with your friend or family members. Man did not need cloth because they were covered with the glory of God. They were sinless...everything was in perfect harmony. God looked at His creation and said "It was very good"

Meanwhile in heaven Lucifer (a.k.a. Satan, devils, etc) had gathered together angels to support his ambition to overthrow God. He wanted to be like the Most High. He failed and want sent down to earth. But the Almighty God also passed a judgement on the rebellion in heaven - God prepared a fire that burn eternally for the devil and his angels.

Satan went to the garden of Eden to deceive mankind. He told them that if they follow him they "will become like God"...Unfortunately man joined the rebellion of Satan...they obeyed Satan and rejected God....and so they shared thesame eternal destination as Satan - the lake of fire

Upon rejection of God, the glory of God was lifted from man...suddenly they saw that they were naked......man could no longer stand in the presence of God.....the presence of God no longer brings excitement but fear...and rightly so because in their fallen nature (state) they cannot see God and live....man can now die......God cursed the earth for man's sake......pain and toil is now to define the history of man...man was sent away from the garden of God (Eden) into a world where Satan and his angels reign.....this is the cause of all the pain in the world.

But thanks be to God in his love, God decided to rescue man from the lake of fire, from pain, from death, from the curse, from Satan. To do this God himself became man. The son of God (Jesus Christ) left his glory in heaven became man, born into our world, he was born holy, he lived a sinless life, he died for our sins, he went to hell and took the keys of death and hades, he rose on the third day and ascended into heaven. He sent his Holy Spirit to guide us in this world and he will return in glory to take us home to God.

But not everyone will go home to God. Only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ. Only those who accept that they cannot find their way to the Almighty God by themselves except through Christ. Only those who confess their sins before the Almighty God and say "Lord I have no righteousness of my own. I accept the righteousness of Jesus Christ your only begotten Son. The righteousness he imputed unto me upon the cross at Calvary"

When this life is over (we all must experience the consequence of our sin in this life) and Jesus returns all those who put their trust in Jesus Christ. Who know that there is no good works they can do to be justified before God apart from Christ will be adopted as God's son (children). The bible gives a glimpse of what life would be in that world for believers in Christ

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! You don't need promise to state the facts. Some of you are too young or just suffering from selective amnesia. Obi was a failure as governor of Anambra....he can't really point to any meaningful thing he did for the state.
