igwe1,
is it true that jenju bought you a pack of boxers short from US that is why you are praising him now as show of appreciation ? i heard from a reliable source from this forum  grin grin
Brother, i give it to you as a challenge, trace all jenju's deals. If you can give me a single questionable deal.I will call you human but if not the reverse will be the case.
For the mean time, I was happy to see jenju in Abuja which if you had the opportunity, you would go inside your room and start crying with remorseful and for your misconception of reality,

Sisi Jinx:
Hmmm, okay. . . it is obvious to me that some people have been doing something else with the VINS they get. I mean why else would Igwe1 feel the need to tell us to check the VINS WE ASKED FOR in CARFAX and AutoCheck?

Look I am no car expert so I'm willing to leave room for the possibility that there are some things about cars I don't know, things like

1) How sweet VIN numbers are. Those babies are so tasty some people can't resist popping those numbers in their mouths before you can say "No don't"

2) Or maybe people now use the VIN Numbers they had the FORESIGHT to REQUEST for wallpaper and carpet.

3) Could it be that some having been writing then VIN on a piece of paper and slipping it under their pillows hoping information about the car will transmit straight into their heads as they sleep?

Help me out car experts, What else can VIN be used for? Why else would one request a VIN if it isn't to check on it? Why do we need someone to tell us to check the VINS we had enough sense to ask for in the first place with Carfax and Autocheck?

Me confusing oooh!! huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh
The info could be useful to you when you are ready to buy a car.
Merry xmas in advance!!

I thought i was gona be confronted with the so called original autocheck history since mine was said to be doctored, but not, I can't relent on this fight against dubious advertising, at least not for this year. I must get to the end of the road.

jenju:
I will post pictures, VINs, and  even Carfax/Autocheck reports of the Muranos selected, by the buyers. None of the cars will be accidented,  none will have a salvage title,  none will have any odometer rollback problem, and all of them will undergo at least a 64 point inspection/service prior to shipment. YOU HAVE MY WORD ON THAT!

Cheers,
J

Due to the number of people seriously interested in this promotion, I am increasing the number of Muranos available to 3. At this point I will assume that Seun will not take us up on our offer.

All the people who have shown interest will be notified how to contact our Lawyers/Accountants for payment. The first 3 to conclude arrangements with our accountants will get the cars. Next step will be to specify color and any other assessories they want to add to the cars.

May God continue to bless our prized customers and potential customers.

Cheers,
J
Thanks for your kindness, now that it's thrown open to everybody, We can now expect Pictures and VINS as usual.

Igwe

This is in no way equivalent to attacks I received by telling people to post VIN here.

I came here to learn and make friends, who ever that is threatened by my identification with people can as well be accommodation as long as he can maintain a clean slate else, i won't hesitate to call the person to order.
Good people must be celebrated anytime & any day, else there won't be any sense in trying to be honest.

If i should rate for cleanest dealers on this auto section, how is the table going to look like?

NO.1 ?
no.2 ?
AutosIf Any Seller Sends Vin To You Privately Or Publicly, What To Do? by igwe11(op): 9:25am On Dec 10, 2008

In everything we do, there must be something to learn.

If any seller sends VIN to you privately or publicly, please double check with both autocheck and carfax .
Perhaps this is not for those that know their way but for novices in auto section.
This is more reason why You can't go wrong with Nairaland autos.

Thanks and God bless,
Igwe

lol, I never in anyway ask people not to buy from inspire but I can't stand any of his antics.
I have nothing against you for defending your friend, that's normal.
It's not new to me, the end of the matter now is that carfax and autocheck can give different result.
good observation out there.
we learn everyday, so everybody is now aware of that.

@Ademole

Igwe and the likes are doing a great job here.

Kindly understand the situation. We are trying to stay as objective as possible.

I have been saved once from buying a 2006 accord (posted on nairaland) by cheking out the VIN. I found out that the car was already salvaged, even though it appreared to be the cleanest Accord on the block.

The seller didnt even know the car history.

So posting the VIN saves a lot of time.
No one is playahating, we are just trying to make it a clean community.

Who is this wwheelz ? One  of the most brilliant, straight and unbiased contributors of ideas on auto section of nairaland that I have ever read. I must confess,  I have never read such a sound contribution. I am an avid reader on NL. I have read all the sycophancy being perpetrated on auto section by a few cohort who think in their myopic way of reasoning that only their voices should be heard. They can sing praises of who they like and at the same time condemn other dealers. The notable among this group is Igwe 1 and Zion Train. Honesty and trustworthy in their mindset mean vin listing on auto adverts.

@wheelz
You have said what is on my mind
''stay focused or start your own forum where you can decree only clean vehicles''. They can also decree vin listing on car adverts, preach their sycophancy, recommend dealers for the buyers they considered stupid, call for meetings every month with a new agenda (Not Agenda 2009), ban any person/dealer who has a different view, castigate any dealer selectively etc .

I hate to hear word like "sanitize",  and sentence like "few gotta learn from the honest and auto pacesetters" It is not too late to start your own forum.
You guys could be good but not all, time will tell who is who, the battle line is drawn.
Watch out how long this argument can last.

wwheelz:
igwe, this might come as a surprise to you but I actually have nothing against Jenju. As a matter of fact, I'm impressed with the way he conducts his business. My problem is with you tring to enthrone him  as "THE ONE." Who knows what kind of mistakes he made in his early career as a car dealer and how do we know that his every dealing from the first day was straight? In fact, how do we know that you wouldn't be tempted to cut corners if you started your own car business today? How do you know I'm not dubious myself? Only God knows who is clean. Some people are able to make their mistakes in private, some don't have that luxury but that doesn't make the latter group more sinful if all have sinned at one time or the other.

I fear monopoly oooo! no be better ting at all! We should be careful not to spoil the market for other car dealers trying to make headway by touting a particular person. Competition is a good thing, keeps every dealer on his/her toes so the more, the merrier. Let the market decide whom they want to deal with.
To start with, I gave my personal views and encounter with jenju as you guys already know. I can say that any day, if Inspire uses carfax and did not know of frame damage, what stops him from appreciating my discovery if that interests him.Furthermore it takes nothing to sound polite even when he doesn't like  what I say about Jenju.
I still put it as challenge to you guys, If anyone can show me any illicit deal from Jenju's  on Nairaland .I will be glad to withdraw my comment but if not why can't you guys emulate his foot steps other than talking for talking sake.
I know that world is full of evil people but light will ever surpass darkness any time any day.
This is indeed interesting, after all, this the essence of VIN listing, for us to analyze in an open forum rather than taking one novice buyer to a corner and give him the highest brainwash of his life.

listen wwheelz , knowing quite well that the car is under  Pre order, am obliged to inform him or anybody unless he has it in stock then the buyer can do proper inspections before any commitment.Let it not be a waste of time waiting for days and end up getting lemon.
simple

and i don't tout for anybody in particular, trace Jenju's transactions and show me any dubious incident, we won't  use b/c of money sell our conscience, i tried to be polite even when he showed me his own carfax report , but he went ahead to insult himself.
