Localemperor: You do not think of illogicallity when you were associating Mbah's rule to Nkanu People you fool.
Channel all your grievance to your brother who was there before Mbah.. it is not our fault that Nsukka has continue to tap from the goodwill of UNN and has never been spoken off without UNN been part of the discussion after 64 years. Nsukka will continue to be an eldorado to the people of Enugu North. And Enugu city is now yours alone? Mumu man |

Localemperor: You should be ashamed of your self, Nsukka popularity was as a result of UNN. Nsukka is a glorified village without UNN.
Enugu North can never come close to Enugu east senatorial district in term of development. You guys are way behind. Your brother had his turn, he used it to eat draw soup.
When Guruguru was under performing did anyone insult Nsukka people? Peter Mba is just one year in and you guys are calling Nkanu people. What exactly is this mumu man talking about? You sound bitter and illogical. Nsukka has outgrow UNN long ago |

Localemperor: The size of a place does not stop it from developing. Next time attack the Governor all you want, but keep Nkanu people out of your stinking mouth... Is nkanu trying to take credit for old eastern regional capital? Why didn't the nkanu hinterlands evolve into an Urban agglomeration like Nsukka area? |
Politics › Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by igwebuike01: 1:42pm On May 23, 2024 |
Localemperor: Do you think Nkanu-land ends in Nkanu East and Nkanu West? Who owns Enugu City? Na Nsukka People ?
Lol you have clearly not been to Agbani before? The FCMB at Ake market and the Union Bank after market is what? They are cooperatives abi? Nsukka urban metro is twice larger than Enugu urban metro. Never compare Nsukka with agbani village These two screenshots are at the same level of zoom

OnyeAshuaUru: A government press release itself confirms that only one of the so-called smart schools has been built, and that is in the governor's village, despite that over 30% of the State's 2024 budget was reportedly earmarked for education. This basically means that only an empty school hall is the only thing the government of Peter Mba has achieved in the education sector (or probably all sectors) as it approaches its 100th day in office despite allocating billions to the sector. If I am wrong, please share pictures of at least three of these smart schools, or direct me to any site of the 100 schools in either Igbo Eze North or Igbo Eze South LGAs as these are my area. Thanks in advance. 100 day in office abi one year in office? One year is 365 days |

Digitron: As expected, the entire Phone section of Ogige Market has been asked to move to Aku road.
That part of Ogige will give way for the Bus Terminal.
UBA Enugu Road is likely to be affected too but I am yet to confirm this It should stretch from university market road to slaughter road up to private park. But peace plaza will be affected if it becomes that large |

OnyeAshuaUru: We are reaching for a new low in governance in Enugu State when an administration that is almost in its 100th day has left no positive mark on the lives of its people but could unleash a herd of sycophants to bleat about "ongoing heavy demolitions everywhere", cosmetic works on some streets in one or two LGAs out of the 17, inspection visit to a FG airport project that has been abandoned for over eight years, and other mention of billions on some crooked and/or just-conceived projects as evidence of a working administration. Not even the famous initial gragra attributed to new administrations across Nigeria could produce a single tangible project, and it makes you wonder from what specie of weed the chaps rating Peter Mba above his equally-mediocre predecessor draws their inspiration from. Peter Mba is only better than Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in triggering a bigoted horde to rise to his defense anytime his apparent failure becomes a subject of discussion. At least, with Ugwuanyi, we only had Louis Amoke to contend with. Nkanu people are trying so hard in vain to whitewash their cluelessness son. |

Digitron: Unfortunately, it is. It is at the Old park.
A chunk of Ogige market will give way. Left for me, Ogige should be moved totally to Nru. The current Ogige should be used for a CBD kind of arrangement. He should first build a special market for phone and computer dealers |

Digitron: Mbah is going to beat Sullivan by his third year.
What we are going to see is unparalleled.
My issue with Mbah is too empathetic and this is making him to not make some tough decisions.
But I have absolute trust that Enugu's time is now.. Okay. That will be good. But nothing to show for now. Even the few roads are below standard |

Afam4eva: I've always said that you will know how well an Enugu Governor is doing by how busy this thread becomes. This thread was comatose during Ugwuanyi's tenure but it seems that things are looking up.
it seems to be that Mbah won't be a failure like Ugwuanyi and i'm watching keenly to see if he will achieve most of the things he said he will do.
I've not been in Enugu since he became governor but would like to know if what people say about the quality of roads that he's building are true? Nothing to show yet. Only big talks |

christejames: I just hope the Nsukka terminal will be at the current LG park/terminal at Aku Road, the state govt should take over that place and expand it... It won't be wise siting it around Enugu road that is already very busy. All the shanties at Lejja park should be demolished, Enugu Road is the heart of town. Aku road is not a major road |

How did it even end?
Nobody seems to talk about it again.
Almost as though it never happened.
And why is Simon Ekpa so quiet of late?
He is usually making bombastic statements and threatening fire and brimstone on the country.
Now you can hardly hear Pim from him.
Many businesses were destroyed and lives lost over that ‘sit at home’ of a thing.
Will anybody be held to account?
What was gained from the whole ‘sit at home’ stuff? Sit at home is still effective over here. It has become a culture |
