Streetinvestor2: Morgan has made it difficult for one to know the true position of the market. They are busy sending useless mail of going into fund management. I wonder who will take them serious. I thought this was only happening to me. And this problem has lingered with no solution in sight |

My small take on Japaul, any coy that can dismantle over 300million bids within minutes is not a place to be for those of us who are desperate for aggressive capital appreciation. Normally, such quantum of bids should be able to sustain full bid rally for up to 2 weeks in most stocks. Once bitten twice shy. |

Stockpromoter: Loco’s Short — Detailed Analysis (ready for forum) Thesis: Many are chasing news, not production — the right time to invest is when the gold business is clearly producing revenue, not when headlines pump the price. Businessday NG +1 Evidence of news-driven move: Company announced pilot-plant test runs and targets to scale output, which attracted heavy retail interest and headlines. Nairametrics +1 Free-float vulnerability: Japaul has a large free float (billions of shares outstanding), which makes it easier for big players to both accumulate and manipulate price. FT Markets +1 Volume pattern: Recent sessions show massive volumes (hundreds of millions), consistent with smart-money accumulation/distribution around news events. Nairametrics +1 What whales do here: They accumulate from the free float, use news to push price up, quietly distribute into retail buying, then re-accumulate by driving price down and shaking out weak hands — classic markup/distribution/markdown cycle. (Behavioral inference supported by the volume + news pattern above.) Nairametrics +1 Expectation: More downside (shakeouts) before a sustainable rally tied to real production & revenues. Don’t buy solely on headlines — wait for confirmed commercial output and improving fundamentals. Punch Newspapers +1 One-line post: Don’t chase the news: Japaul’s recent run is headline-driven while whales exploit its large free float — expect shakeouts and re-accumulation before any real rally tied to confirmed production. Is this the real or fake Loco? Our original Loco, I mean the Loco that we know is not known for lengthy posts. |

For new comers, just a note of caution. Except you're already in the bus, this is generally not a buying season. If one is not careful, FOMO can force you to jump in at an ATH price and you may find yourself left stranded for months |

mikeapollo: @Megawealth is a gem and very helpful on this forum; his stock picks have been goldmines that should enrich a lot of people here on NSEMPA. He recommended Deapcap at around N1,00. His track record made me do some checks on the stock, bought some units at N1.70 but sold off when I needed cash. Somehow the price rally started 4 days after I sold off. I had to buy back at N3.99 and it's now moving towards the N10-N15 range. In the last 1 year, he has recommended stocks that have yielded 100% gains and more: Cadbury, PZ, Universal, NB, Tantalizers, Deapcap, etc. Unity Bank is next on the line Same here. Bought Deapcap but sold early (with 50% profit) because I needed cash to invest in a physical business. The irony is that the physical business has not yielded any significant profit. But hope dey. |

yMcy56: I don't always like to give answer to this type of question because there's no one way answer to it and it can sometimes send wrong signal........whereas, other factors could be responsible for the activities around it.
However, as someone mentioned up there, RI sellers, if that's the situation of things, then I'll sell to come back later......
I'll also sell because we are in the earning season and dividend investors may be eyeing dividend payers around this time.
Like I said, there may be twist or exceptions to anything at any time.....e.g. what if CHAMS plans to commence dividend payment too....😊 I fully understand. One can sell and watch with regrets as the price continues it's upward tragectory. And vice versa. Thank you for your wise counsel as always. |

opaclem: Chams is in sell mode. People that bought RI are taking profit That's the contradiction because it has resisted the sell mode of participants of the RI from when the price was below 3. Now price is approaching 5. |
