Agbalowomeri: PMS price 999 in my hood this morning
E come be like anti-Christ mark 666
Sometimes ago, PMS was selling for 69 The worst part is that the something ago was not too far ago...at best 10 years ago. With the margin of price difference, one would think it was like 100 years ago... Very sad |

Omooloriredade: In my opinion, it's just TA. The company is dead and decomposing. Best to delist and go into liquidation. There's no point recapitalising the company. That will be throwing good money after bad. Best for the owners to just float another company or start afresh if they have not been sanctioned by the regulators already.
Makes no business sense to me. Just focus on upstream and if you must dabble into refining why Trinidad & Tobago? Very small market in that axis. You would have to spend top dollar to turnaround the fortunes of the refinery. In fact, further loses are guaranteed in the first few years following the takeover. Looks like a misadventure about to happen.
Disclaimer - As per usual commentary. All based on personal opinion. Post could be wrong and misleading so please DYOR. This was what some people kept saying about Oando and discouraged others from benefiting from the massive returns in Oando within a very short period. |

I don't even know why some people that are lucky enough to find themselves in winning stocks are throwing their luck away, instead of keeping faith with their good fortune.
Quite an irony.
May be they were expecting the run to be on a straight line. Perhaps 10% up every day with no cooling breaks |

If I were to challenge you to publicly post your portfolio and allow me to post mine, letting others judge who has performed better since January this year, you likely wouldn't agree. If you're up for it, let's do it. I use Morgan Capital. That is not necessary. Please show us the next bus about to leave the station |

ndept: In as much as I do not want to bring politics into this forum, but then, I need you to enlighten us on what you are seeing or which particular area/field/metrics that HAS made this government better than the last regime. Forget about the fact that we made money in the stock market, that will be selfish of us, the percentage of Nigerians participating in the stock market is less than 1%. So, what about the rest 99%?
For example:
Cooking gas is now N1,200 compared to N600 under Buhari regime Rice N77,000 against N32,000 vis-vis other food items Petrol N580 against N185 under Buhari Diesel N1,200 against N800 …. just to mention a few
The administration is just cleaning up the mess they created unnecessarily with the abrupt removal of subsidy. On the dollar issue, they met it at N650 and with all the shout up and down, it is still N1,000. Not to talk about the massive increase in loans and external debts they have incurred in just less than a year of governance. I have so many friends that are into manufacturing and know what they are going through economically. Electricity generation is still nothing to write home about. Not to forget the fact that wages of workers has remained same while the purchasing power of every Nigerian has been massively reduced.
Please note that this is not a fight or attack on you. Both of you are saying the same thing but from different perspective. Buhari created serious mess but held all the economic indicators of the mess down artificially and unsustainably. Tinubu came and removed the veil so Nigerians could feel the impact of the mess Buhari created. However, Tinubu is not free of blame because, first he supported Buhari and second, he should have adopted a gradualist approach in removing the veil, rather the totalist approach he has adopted so far. E.g why not phase out fuel subsidy removal, instead of removing 💯 at once? Same mistake is being repeated with electricity subsidy. |

It seems nothing spectacular to expect from this market till second half of the year.
The biggest disappointment so far is Dangote, with the deceitful so called merger. I recall someone gave us the expo here at the beginning of the year that Dangote will fall our hand big time. |
