A lot of characters were downplayed anyway. I guess that was the whole idea of the prequel. Doctore for example. Seeing him having s.ex was weird to me . Season 1 made me believe he was too disciplined to even think on it. I hope Gannicus makes a come back in subsequent seasons though. Besides you forget the name of the series is Spartacus, and you think they'll let Gannicus win over Spartacus?
