If I wasn't a whinny lil coward f**k, by all rights i should be at least 30-40% by now but I simply panicked and cut short profitable positions while stop losses f**ked me from behind. Anyways, we live to learn...My next competition is that of surge trader in the next 8 days...It's a beautiful competition that awards aggressiveness, just one week of pure cage fighting..[/color]

Cheat took me from 6% to 10.9% but decided to pick my village people's call when I decided to leave cheat and use my coconut head..... I don't do andrenline rush like other people.
These news events only end even making my trades hit TP faster. Which helps me to move on with other currencies.
I don't smoke or drink either.
I am a simple guy with simple needs.

And you don't necessarily have to smoke weed per say...If you lock yourself in a room and burn the weed inside its confines like incense,it's not technically smoking. I always recommend it during or after stressful trading days.Its a good brain relaxant..[/color]

lol you are funny. If you followed my previous post about my wins (on nasdaq) in this forum about one or two months ago. You will see that this is not luck. In fact you haven't seen anything yet compared to what i have seen what other people better than me can do. These people are monsters. they can hold trades for months with max lots without getting scared of anything. I was just lucky to learn one of their strategies. You don't know. you don't know. I am even in the kindergartin when it comes to taking these kinds of trade.Maybe i should post the five trades that i will be taking next week of which i will hold for like 3 to five days or even more. NO i don't have a need to prove any thing to you. YOU have not see the real monsters in the FX industry. forget what you see on social media my brother. these guys don't show themselves online frequently and they don't need to prove anything to anyone. They live a modest life. I pray you meet just one of them. Then you will know what i am talking about.

I see you left your positions open for multiple days in most of your trades. (with max lot sizes)
is it that u don't experience massive reversal in your trades?
how do you do that without inccuring 5% drawdown?

is like na me no understand the calculation of this drawdown of thing. pls I need a little more clarification on that

[color=#1986BC] It was a sweet bitter experience ...I started the second day with 3.6% with a view to getting at 5% before the close of Friday. I had a rough start, more like haemorrhaging losses, that blew me back to 1.7%. Took me a break to smoke some weed and center myself then I steadily counter attacked the losses and pared it back to 3%. But I couldn't end the day with less than what I started with, I needed a clean slate with the Total Draw down (capped at 10%), besides, a successful day trading to me is at least to break even at end of the day or at least get something out of the market especially in a comp like this as everyday matters. With the day almost coming to an end with evening approaching,I used a cheat to boost the account from 3% to 11.7% but later settled at 6.5%.. A sweet bitter experience..[/color]

Another solid 18 hours of, well, I won't call it trading, more like fighting fires and crying over stopped losses but we never give up, we keep pushing even with the stupid f**king NFP and it's volatility, we stood strong. From 4am to 7pm, we never even chop since today but our nourishment was the addiction to trading and those beautiful candles from mt5 (I think the updated is awesome),like cocaine. Now we close for the weekend at day two.... 11.76% in the bag...Monday, the target will be 12.5%....Let's go there...[/color]
