Nigeria forces play into a dangerous area of SA and Aina will cross but it's cleared..

MrBONE2:
Hehehehehheheh, let see how the Eagles will survive Bafana Bafana in Da second round

Nyama Nyama fall on your yam head..

Halftime....My take? Nigeria is losing the battle of the midfield with south Africans showing more stamina and hunger to win the balls especially the second ones, if not for the heroics of Ajayi and Ekong in coordinating and flying into last ditch desperate crunching tackles with Nwabili flying into superb saves, SA should hav been three goals ahead by now..

Iwobi conducts play in the midfield as he gallops forward and sweeps the ball to Aina...He crosses but is put out for a corner....The corner is played and Oshimen misses his header to the goal narrowly.

Moses Simon does excellently well to hold off three SA players on the left hand edge of the box, he dances for a minute with the ball and lays it off Iwobi....His long range strike is saved......SA continues play and ball is pinged about the Nigerian final third, it is swept at the far corner of the post but Nwabili saves with an excellent dive...

Moses Simon loses possession in the midfield and suddenly the SA has the ball in the box but Nwabili will come out to claim the ball.

Freekick taken but goall keeper mops up after an aerial tussle in the box....Now SA is on the counter, a beautiful slick counter finds Ajayi in a last ditch tackle to save the day... Nigeria continues play, but conceeds possession and SA will attack the left side of the pitch, there's a shout for handball as Bassey had the ball ricochet off his arm...And Nigeria takes a collective sigh of relief

Good work from Onyeka to drive into the final third of SA and is brought down in a dangerous area...

A punt upfield into the Nigerian 18 sees a tussle btw Ajayi and the south African attacker, who takes a tumble but is ruled as freekick to Nigeria for diving..

If it should get to 1300s, there will be a mass panic to sell off hoarded dollars...

Dybala11:
Who is this Caleb that you mentioned please, or do you mean "Calvin"?

Yeah, it is...My mistake..

Calvin Bassey shields off an Angolan attack to conceed a corner....The corner is taken and leads to nowhere. Then refree decides to end the match..

EniHolar:
Who put him in

Oshimen out....Omeruo in...

iichidodo:
Oshimen out ,Onuachu in..

Scratch that, Oshimen back in..[b]

Oshimen out ,Onuachu in..

Angola tries a punt into the Nigerian box.... There's a scuffle but Bassey stands strong to cut and chop through legs to win the ball before powering past Angolan players upfield to lay a pass to Oshimen, who would have had a clear path to goal if not for quick thinking of the keeper to rush out into the midfield and uses his chest to stop the ball....Angola tries all kinds of tricks but Nwabili stands tall.

Lukman receives the ball on a dangerous position during a swift Nigerian counter attack, he lays it for Oshimen in the box in the midst of defenders, but he panics at the last moment and keeper comes out to dwart the shot..

Iwobi out ,Sanusi in...

Aina wins possession off an Angolan attack and gallops into the Angolan half then is brought down...The freekick is taken and Oshimen powers past his defender to heads it with so much venom that the keeper punches into the net...But the goal is ruled out for offside

It's end to end stuff here, as soon as a Nigerian attack fizzles out, suddenly Angola starts their own and so on and so forth.....Now Oshimen wins a freekick after a tussle with a defender, but freekick into the box goes to nothing..

Onyeka does very well to win possession and Nigeria starts a dangerous attack,3 vs 2...He puts it to Simon and he receives it back but indecision causes him to lose focus and the attack peters out.

Lukman wins a freekick in a dangerous part of the pitch.....Zaidu will take it and is well hit but the keeper dives well to save it..

Calivn wins a freekick in a dangerous position, the freekick is placed in the box where a flick on leaves it for Zaidu. He embarrassingly messes the takeon but is rescued by Calvin. The corner is taken but Calvin miscues his header... Angola starts the play and Iwobi is dispossessed and a throughball is placed in to the path of the Angolan striker faced with a one on one chance but he strikes the goal post. What a let off

Bassey receives a yellow for dissent after powering past a falling Angolan player...

Caleb stands very strong to win a throw in off of an Angolan attacker with other Angolan attackers waiting in line..

Oshimen drops deep to receive a pass before laying it up to Iwobi and he miscues the shot.... Play is continued but Nigeria wins back possession and Zaidu, overlapping from deeps tries a shot, that goes narrowly over. Angola frustrated tries a one way punt into the Nigerian half and Ajayi excellently does well to win possession off an Angolan attacker in the Nigerian box..

GOOOOOOAAAALLL!!!!!!! Deep in the Nigerian half with Angola pressing, Iwobi dictates play far in to the left and Zaidu quickly switches ball in the running path of Simon. Simon with a lot of work to do, first of all skips past a desperate tackle from the Angolan right back and suddenly drives into the box..Where Oshimen is eagerly waiting also eagerly waiting were the defenders on Oshimen.. Nobody saw Lukman drifting infield into the box and he receives it before unleashing a cracker...

Excellent defensive work from Onyeka to dwart a freekick into the box and Zaidu takes the ball on a foot race into the Angolan half but is brought down..

Angola switches play to the left and Zaidu is under the cosh but recovers well to conceed a corner...Corner is taken but leads to nowhere

Angola in possession but the midfield is too strong and so Nigeria win back possession and wins a throwing which aina will take. He takes it and Oshimen peels off his minder to get at it but misses

Lukman dances in the box but is surrounded and the attack dies a natural death

Iwobi orchestrating the midfield and the ball is swept to the right. The cross is placed on Osihmen's head but the keeper saves it wonderfully... Play suddenly swept to the Nigerian defense, poor touch from ajayi and the Angolan attacker will drive into the box but panics at the crucial moment and Ekong snuffs it out...
