N+ basically deals with the training of individuals in the area of Networking different systems, printers, copiers you name it within a building and make sure that they are properly done and functioning well.
This then brings us to CCNA. It deals with connectivity of networks within and outside of a building, infact connectivity within a state or out of a state, country or locality. This therefore means that if you dont have the basic knowledge of N+ you will be found lacking and lost in the CCNA class. Furthermore CCNA deals much more with switching and routing which is a higher function of Networking.
An example of this is when you want to use the ATM of zenith bank on No.1 kilanko street and it tells you out of service visit other branches, and while strolling you get to number 20 of the same street and your able to do your transaction. The reason is simple, connectivity within the first branch is either under view by the inbuilt server for the branch or from the main head office, automatically the network guys are notiified that a switch is down and needs immediate attention, which can be fixed either from their end or the branch IT guys.

This has been bothering at the edge of my mind for quite a while and i feel i should share my views and find out other people's feel on the matter. Its really sad that most university graduates are not capable of using Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Powerpoint or the basic IC3 Fundamentals. And the question comes, how where they able to create, type and fine tune their CVs, Projects and the likes? Which means that throughout their stay in the university they just went to the business centers and gave it to them to be done, pay the required amount and that is it! Now the ghost comes back to hunt while they are doing their NYSC, Line Manager gives him/her a document to type or process and it becomes an herculean task! Why they cant use the application is a bafflement to the Manager, why in the CV you have 'proficient use of MOS Applications'.

I do agree that its free though not totally, but on the long run for big firms they wont want to use Ubuntu considering the fact that they need servers to help with the database management. Moreso organizations involved in a large movement of data which invariably give rise to huge traffic a well structured server is also needed.
