Why all the outburst, Tonto might have a point. Tonto made the accusation and there they go, they start insulting the Edo people. That is the noise she is talking about. She is doing what she like though I don't support her generalization |

@stronger You always make sense my friend. Nigerians cannot separate lies from the truth |
God bless that guest. He shares my views |
Fellow Nigerians, there is no subsidy they have been stealing us blind. From 300 billion plus it skyrocketed to 1.4 trillion can somebody please explain this. External reserve under OBJ 60 billion dollar plus, Excess crude oil account 33 billion dollars. External debt paid back to our creditors. But today under GEJ External reserve = 33 billion dollars Excess crude oil account = 0 dollars external debt = 30 billion plus dollars Tell me what tangible project executed under GEJ? |
In Britain there is free health care. In the US only about 13milion people is not covered by health insurance In Canada there is free health care and most other developed countries in the world plus other important benefits they get from their govt. Most of these countries, if not all have free education to at least secondary school level. There is constant electricity, good road networks, and efficient police force and relaxation parks for its citizens. Tell me what your government is providing for you in Nigeria. NOTHING other than abetting corruption |
Drive GEJ out of ASS Hole Rock |
Cry my foot. He was smiling and enjoying himself on Christmas day and he still went on with the celebration without remorse. How come he is crying 6 days later? |
@GboyegaD To support your point, lots of large and small businesses has relocated from Nigeria because of lack of constant electricity. To compound the already compounded situation you now deregulate the oil sector. Let say I run a small business with about 10 to 20 employees and I'm struggling to to make both ends meet because of the cost of buying fuel, now I'm going to have to triple that spending which leave no room for expansion. My employees will be asking for a raise because of the increase in transportation and this will lead to layoffs. Am I creating jobs here or cutting. Think Nigerians think of the negative effect this will cause. |
@ceejay80s I'm with you on that. We should start thinking about how to organize |
@Beaf So Nigerians should pay the price for the inefficiency of the government to control its borders. So who will control the oil marketers after deregulation, same government? |
@jp philips Thanks for the clear and concise explanation |
We never plan before implementation. How is the government going to control these oil marketers after deregulation? They refuse to say. Let me tell those for deregulation, we never bought petrol at international rate rather what we do is export our oil for it to be refined and we pay for the refined product with oil and cash for the transportation cost. Now you tell me what you think of a situation where Otedola, a brother to Dagote who is an oil cartel and other cartels are members of GEJ economic teams. |
@all4naija Don't compare Nigeria to those African countries but with developed countries of the world. The developed countries that controls IMF and World Bank tells us to remove subsidy and we did. Now you tell them to remove those essential benefit they offer their citizens I listed in my previous post and you see what they call revolt in those countries. If you want to fix the problem deal with corruption. And don't forget the govt. told us that the hardship is going to be for a short time before the refineries come on stream after they will sell crude oil to them for less the market rate but let them guaranty it they will not ship the crude oil to other African countries as obtain today. You see my friend we are just dancing around the problem. |

If the government claimed that they borrowed money to finance the subsidy, so where are they getting the money for those areas they said will be improved with the subsidy money. |
What is wrong with Nigerians. We do not buy oil we ship our oil to be refined internationally and we pay for the refined product with oil or cash for refining. There has never been a time in the Nigerian history that we have to buy oil. So we don't buy at the international rate as the government claimed. |
