Ans: not really necessary and I don't really think there's a Nigerian Owned forex brokage firm yet (**whispers** the dude that wanted to attempt such has returned the money back to the market ) but stay very far away from bucket brokers and go for regulated brokers probably regulated by EU

Ans: depends on that your broker offers and what's comfortable with you, if could be webmoney, bitcoin, bank transfer and the rest. Just what suits you best.

Ans: first seek knowledge and run a demo account like a live account.
But this question is quite vague,
But from my understanding, a month for any withdrawal, and withdrawal ranges from 1 day to 5 days.


4. WHAT IF AFTER LOADING YOUR FOREX ACCOUNT WITH MONEY AND LATE WISH NOT TO TRADE AGAIN, ARE YOUR BROKERS GOING TO ALLOW YOU WITHDRAW YOUR MONEY..?

Ans: your broker won't like that, they may freeze your account just to tell you who's boss! (and probably charge you with illegality like money laundering).
But to be Safe, just take A+++ trades and make some profits and you could possibly withdraw all your funds, if you are using a regulated broker, you won’t really have any issues.

there is actually no need to attend a forex training, but if you have the means you can attend online (a good example is Nial Fuller), reason is becauise i dont know of anyone in naija at the moment currently offering training on forex.

The resources materials are readily available on the internet.

It depend on the age of the fish you want to produce feed for and protein percentage in feed. Ideally, 25% to 35% can be used.

You can as well convert your carbohydrates to function as part of the binding. For example, combination of Cassava Flour Meal and Corn Flour can be used in ratio 15% and 20%

You can use so many binding agents such as aqua ll, tapiocca, cassava starch/flour, corn flour molasis and other starchy stuff but gelatinity depends on preparation.
Baker's yeast can be use as floating agent. The problem is in cost/quantity implication.

Just to add that prolonged exposure of feeds to heat/sunlight can reduce the feed's nutrient, hence the need to be discreet

It depends on the moisture content in the feed. I will advice you make what your stock can consume in less than 2 weeks.......
- Ensure the bags containing the feeds are opened up and not tied.
- Regular inspection of the feeds beneath the surface is essential, do this by emptying the sack into a big bucket to check for growth of mold
- Occasional sun drying can prolong the shelf life of locally pelletized feed.

Catfish FCR is complex to determine because it is a function of so many factors and not only limited to feed. With good feed and other input at optimum, it is possible to achieve FCR of 0.5 from fingerling up to when they attain 100gram. FCR of 0.6 from 100gram to 300grams while FCR of between 0.8 to 1.2 is consider ideal for 300grams and above.

In practise it is ideal to limit the use of foreign feed from stocking to when the fish attain 100grams while you switch to local floating feed until they attain 300grams. However, the practise of using local floating to attain 300grams is no longer profitable because of the high cost of feed, therefore changing to local feed of 2mm/3mm to attain 300grams reduces cost of feed while pelleting feed for growout will considerably reduce cost and increase profit without affecting the FCR.

In my opinion, using imported feed and feed above 5000naira for growout will lead to a loss unless you export your fish and earn dollar.

From 300grams, the cost of feed per kg that would guarantee FCR of 1:1 should not be more than 250naira. I presently use 215naira/kg for my growout despite the high cost of fishmeal, when you add that to initial cost of about 650naira per kg for raising the fingerling to 100grams, the total cost of feed for a fish of 1kg would be around 240naira

The issue with the analysis lies in the cost of the feed.
Point 1. It is not wise to use a feed that costs N9700/15kg bag for 2 months.Which of the foreign brands cost this much? normally cost of feed reduces as the pellet size decreases hence you can switch to lower pellete sizes as your fish mature
Point 2. You do not have to use foreign feed for two months, you can use for 5 weeks and then switch to vital feed/topfeed
point 3. The cost of the local feed in your analysis is outrageous. 20k for a 50kg bag of local feed!!! i.e. N400/kg
My advice is that you consider making your own feed to reduce feed cost.

I am humbly coming to you because i am having an issue when trying to calculate the cost of raising 1000 fingerlings to table size, so that i can plan my entry into this business properly. I have this calculation as of now based on my research but it seems pricey. My per unit cost of raising one fish to table-size comes out to 572 naira per and that is not enticing at all. Lugbe a satellite town in the FCT has always been bedeviled by lack of power supply. It is unfortunate that it came to this, because the most irresponsible PHCN staff are stationed there. All they are interested in is to cut off light. This is a town that can never boast of 10 days power supply in a month. I pray someone does something about this because since Saturday there has not been a blink of light and PHCN claims its because of this incident that happened at Tudun Wada Village while the whole estate remains in darkness. So sad So unfortunate.

Due to the scarcity of fish oil ,i want to quickly tell u how to make ,your own fish oil .
Get some fresh fish the very cheap ones you can see in your locality, cut off the head and slice the stomach open to remove the intestine , its very important so the head or intestine will not cause the fish to rot before forming the oil.
Cut the fishes to small pieces and put them in a container like the small white plastic paint bucket , add small water to just cover
the fish top a little. Close the plastic , so that air can not get in , and look for any cloth like a towel to cover it ... Keep it in a cool dry place for 10days .
Open it, and you will discover a thick white layer on the water because oil and water does not mix, gently remove the oil from the water buy pouring it out into another jar and you have 100 percent fish oil with good raw fish smell . The more the fish ,the more the volume of fish oil and the used fish can be add to making your fish feed so nothing is a waste .
Now to increase your fish oil, you can add to every 1 liter fish oil, add one quarter vegetable oil and mix to give u more quantity ,
Advantages of fish oil , it serves as an attractant and its a source of oil and protein , it can almost totally replace or reduce the amount of costly fish meal used in your feed .
When you have low quality feed just spray fish oil on it , allow it to sun dry and bag. you will see how the fish will eat the feed they earlier rejected ..... other source of attractants are chicken intestine waste , cow and pig fats and hatchery waste eggs any of these can be used also .
i can explain how to convert most of them to strong fish attractant GOD BLESS

To be sure we are on the same page, please confirm : 2000 fishes with average weight of 305g should be fed with 14.457kg of feed per day.

Lastly, Please confirm you also reference the table when using sinking feed.

@ Bily - I noticed that the qty(per day) of feed specified in the excel is twice what was proposed in coppen's feeding table. Is this because you feed twice a day?
