if you intend to sell good weight,feed at least twice. If after cutting fat, do once. They will not grow as expected, only good idea when you having extreme cold weather,to avoid pollution or when you want to cut back excessive fat from your broodstock.

Good morning boss, I just started hatchery newly on a new ground/farm. But then all the hatched fishes died after about 2-3 days after, I am strongly suspecting my water. What PH test KIT do you think is best I use and also at a reduced cost. I anticipate your reply.

just get experts to drill hole of 4 inch pipe wide deep into the ground & channel all waste water into it.No one will know you do fish farming. I posted the picture of what it looks like years back when i was in benin to train someone on fish farming. then it cost 45-60k. NOTE: I dont do it,hence no need asking further

anyiway:
I have already done this. Upto 300ft. Yet it gets filled up. Not giving the desired service. On inquiry, I discovered that it works only in areas with what they call circulation. I am really confused. I have hostile neighbours.

Most likely the water you used is the problem. For hatching use borehole water preferably. Don't use tap or government water that contains chlorine. Also make sure you don't overfeed so that does not spoil the water quality. Lastly don't allow rain or any other water to mix with the tiny fingerlings because they are highly susceptible to temperature changes.
