There is a chap in the American Politics thread who lies daily, despite being caught, that he lives in the US.
He once posted a picture of his first day in the US(pic below) and didn't seem to know there was a bus stop sign in the picture, and that the bus stop sign was from of a province in Canada.
Not sure whether he downloaded the pic or he was in Canada, but he wasn't in the US.
He then posted his supposed phone album of his first day in the US and it's all pictures of places in Canada.

It's not just him.
So, I'm wondering what the end goal of all this is and if there is some financial motivation behind it because I can't imagine someone lying daily like that without a financial motivation attached.

The group of people who did things like in the 1st picture were protesting in Charlottsville (2nd picture).
SPLC paid informants so if something like the 1st picture were planned to happen by the group in the 2nd picture, they would be aware and prevent it from happening again.

2.) Robert Byrd repented and spent his later years making amends esp. in his votes for civil rights. If you want to argue that you believe his repentance wasn't genuine, make that argument.
But, all those pictures of Clinton with Byrd were post his repentance and post him spending considerable time making amends for what he did.
