Just go for Kodi and install the necessary add-ons so you can stream live TV channels and movies.... configuring and setting up Kodi might be confusing to you if ou are not familiar with it. Like I said earlier, it's locally assembled. The brand is not popular, the name printed on it is Kolas energy. I charge it with generator as well. You can search for it on jiji. The guy is a very nice guy.

How many hours can that particular hithium inverter power your starlink, will it be up to 7hours. Though I just bought an locally made inverter from a guy I meet on jiji. I have been using it for close to 2 weeks now, and it can power my starlink for more than 14hours. I bought it 240k

I got the mini today and installed it. I've never experienced good internet in my entire life in this Nigeria.


I've been streaming FHD and even watching live Europa final right now. So amazing and my mind is at rest without having to panic my data will finish.

I was spending almost 60k a month on MTN and I was not satisfied I will be managing data. Chai MTN dealt with me and it will never be well with MTN.

The area I live it's only MTN working i was left with no choice to be using only MTN since December last year.

Same here too. I even stream 4k channels on my IPTV and Kodi without fear of running out of data. Na just steady power supply that we don't have in naija to compliment The starlink.

It’s funny because I use an inverter, so it’s always turned on. I’m guessing because I never powered it off once except for when it reboots to install an update, it may have caused it to overheat??

I use an inverter that can power my starlink mini for about 15 hours and the starlink is always plug to the inverter, I don't off it, cos I don't have strength to be changing power source all the time due to the epileptic power supply in my area. ......
i have been more worried about the inverter than even the starlink , cos the inverter is always on 24hours without resting, and as for the starlink, I don't even plug the DC cable directly to the inverter, instead I insert the cable into the original starlink power adaptor then plug the adapter to the inverter, so if anything goes wrong with regard to voltage fluctuation it is the power adaptor that will be damaged and not the starlink itself

No much experience yet cos I have not really used it since I bought it, I tried using it indoors but I couldn't, because de was no signal, I just packed it pending when I get a locally made mount that I can use to erect it outside.
The activation fee was free for me, may be because I don't live in neither Lagos nor Abuja, the only money I paid was 354k which is for the purchase of the device and courier fee

If you have the time to check, they still have good channels for interesting programs, movies and premium sports. I just picked that dstv south africa addon that has all supersport, all football league addon and some other sports addons and add to my favorite lists. Streaming those addon channels consume less data and work well with network speed less than 10mbps. I still like that EPG vibes when I am watching this ID channel and some other documentary channels.

I have gone through all those addons you mentioned(Plutotv, dstv now, plextv, IPTV aus, IPTV nz, Samsung plus) most of their program are pre-recorded programs and there often go on break every now and then,.... And no good premium sport channels in them except that dstv now(official). And even the dstv now requires subscription. The only good thing about those addons you mentioned is that there have EPG.
If you really want to watch good sport channels, dstv add-on is not even them. Loop, daddylive, mad-Titans are the best, just that almost all their channels are in HD quality. Though I prefer HD channels

Yes, all in EPG. You can still get more channels when you enable IPTV meger from add-on repository setup. There is this Mad-Titans add-on I linked also, Plutotv, dstv now, plextv, IPTV aus, IPTV nz or some other EPG. I later got about 6k plus when I merge all but it takes time to load whenever I start the Kodi. And sometimes force to close once or twice whenever channels are loading on start up.

Except for a few, most of the channels on add-ons like Samsung plus, Pluto TV, Plextv, IPTV aus ,. There are not worthwhile and uninteresting. Most of the channels show already pre-recorded programs, and you hardly get premium sport channels on those addonS.
Loop and mad-Titans add-on are the the best, there contain better premium channels of different categories....... And then daddylive add-on , though I don't think daddylive can be link to simple client pvr

There is this add-on I am using, can't remember the name again. I got it from the maintenance option on Zenon. It clears cache automatically on Kodi start up.
I have played around that PVR simple client and iptv merger. It loaded up to 1600 plus channels but still feeling I didn't get it right because the channel should be more than that. One reason I don't frequent that PVR simple client is because most of the channels are in 1080 pictures quality and 720, good for unlimited data subscribers with good network speed. 720 and 480 still give clear pictures
I have been seeing that loop all the time. I have not tried linking with PVR. Like how many live channels did you get after linking?

I got a total of about 700 channels, almost all wth EPG, ..... When yours loaded 1600 channels, did you get EPG for the channels?

Exactly, too much addons make streaming buffer alot and lagging. I just searched for few sport add-ons and some few movie add-ons. I will search for the elementum add-on since it has downloading functions. Do you have this Dstv South Africa addon that has 52 Dstv channels, including all super sport, African magic and the rest?
Kodi is too big to explore, unlimited sports, movies, documentaries, news, music etc. The beginning and the of entertainment is in that stuff, if you know your way around it. Hustling no dey give me much time again to explore the app is I want.

Yea. Too many add-ons make Kodi lag, but you can I increase the cache memory of the Kodi so as to help the Kodi app run faster...... I have that dstv add-on u talking about, rapid stream livetv(RSLV). but I have deleted it, because I found those same exact 52 channels in loop addon. You can install the loop addon if you are looking for livetv channels with EPG, Then link the loop with your PVR simple client. You will get that same IPTV vibes

I only use DIggz Free99 add-on to stream old and latest movies. I haven't explore downloading option on the add-on because I watch more of sports than movies.
Which Zenon Build version are you using?

I have that free99 add-on too , recently I downloaded elementum add-on for watching movie and downloading the movie as well. But the file size of the movie are just too big.
I don't use build anymore more oooo. It slows down my system especially that Xenon build.... I do customised my Kodi myself, and by so doing there is enough free space in my ram and my system runs faster. it way far better for me

Kodi is the best thing ever, especially if you are a tech savvy person. By the way, do you know of any add-on that has the function of stream and download movies?...... I have tried Fen, Umbrella. There didn't work for me cos I not have a premium debrid account

After my bro got admission, we were stuck cos visa application process was giving us real tough time, the few persons I contacted and ask for their assistance with regards to the applications process their job were not impressive to me so I had to discard them.
