jamesversion: How dey skip na. Its all about the population in the LGAs. Take Ogu/Bolo LGA for example which has only 3 communities, but they are an LGA. That are so sparsely spread across a vast waterlogged area. the primary reason for creation of LGAs was for administration to get to them, not because of their population.
Bayelsa also has a vast area but very little population. I'm just letting you know going through the tribal way won't work in favour of Wike's candidate. Ikwerres do not have the population except the Igbos in Rivers and the ones from the south east also support Wike's candidate. Igbo vs Ijaw card will work well |

anonimi: Did Awolowo solve the problem of Western region as Premier?
Did Jakande and other UPN governors solve the problem of Lagos and their four other states?
Did any president solve the problem of Nigeria?
They each did their own bit and the record of their deeds are there for comparison, like what Jakande did in just four years before coup plotter Buhari jailed him for corruption in 1984 Wike's doing a good job in the FCT, by the time he's through with his job in 2031, I will be able to fully judge him. Who I can judge now is Obi who failed woefully as the governor of Anambra state. |

nairalanda1: Gigigidy is at least a consistent biafra supporter. If Obi won in 2023, he will still put up a thread calling for biafra.
At the very least, he ain't as hypocritical as you think he is. This is a chidish comment. Gidggidy is pro Biafra, he wants Nigeria to fall apart. A lot of Ibos like Gidggidy felt Obi could win the 2023 presidential election, he abandoned Biafra and started campaigning and even voted for Obi. Peter Obi never promised to break apart Nigeria so, on what basis did he vote Obi? If Obi won the election, he won't say pim about Biafra again, he will suddenly become pro Nigeria like because an ibo man is the president of Nigeria. |

jamesversion: Election is not by popularity, election is by ethnicity. All Wike needs to do is fan embers of war between Ikwerres and Ijaws during election period and see Fubara fail woefully. Ikwerre population can't even be up to 500k. They control just about 3 local government and share one with the Ijaws, how will Wike going the tribal way you're suggesting help his candidate? |

Politics › Re: A Country Like Nigeria With 3 Major Ethnic Groups Is Not Workable by Ikaeniyan0: 3:09pm On Mar 23, 2025 |
gidgiddy: Nigeria houses the three largest ethnic groups in Africa, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. This is a major reason why Nigeria is simply not workable
Ideally, a country should have just one majority ethnic group, or at the very worst, two
To have three major ethnic group in one country is disaster because it means that at any given time, at least one of those ethnic groups will not be happy with what is going on in the country
Another reason why a country with three majority ethnic can never work is that each of those ethnic group know that their numbers are larger than most countries in Africa. Most countries in Africa are not up to 10 million people, but Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo are individually over 40 million each.
They should have been three different countries. The only way Nigeria might have worked is if the country was run as a confederation, where the three ethnic groups are countries of their own, within a country, but with a weak centre
No country with three major ethnic groups is workable, it will be eternal political fight forever You forgot about Biafra and voted for Obi in the 2023 presidential election. You're only talking like this because Obi is not the president. |

Most of the people who do claim Tinubu didn't win even though they have no evidence to back up their claim are the same people who believed Buhari was dead and replaced by Al jubril from Sudan. You are the one who needs to reason like an adult that understands how government works instead of reasoning like a slave.
It’s because of having too many people reasoning like hopeless slaves, that we are cluelessly exporting our resources and even ourselves to Europe that we accuse of under-developing our country and continent. Wike can't solve the problem of Abuja in less than 2 years. Let's be reasonable please |

USA wants you to elect corrupt leaders and stay underdeveloped forever so if you elect a great leader they are not likely to clap for you Every body with a functioning brain knows Tinubu won the election. Or clueless blacks like us should continue to focus on the hardware of physical infrastructure and neglect the software of services and utilities made possible by an adequate number of workers who are well paid relative to politicians like Wike If the ministers before him has done the things he's doing now, he would have concentrate on massive recruitment of workers.
