Ezeama400: Agreement on top the head of the good people of Rivers State?
Mind what you are encouraging. This is 21st century..
Fubara loseguard himself when he fought the assembly members
The Kano state governor also betrayed Kwankwaso, without Kwankwaso support, the NNPP would have never win Kano state.
But the Kano state government has majority of the state lawmakers in his camp, Fubara should have made sure he has the Lawmakers on his side before starting the battle
madridguy: If Fubara like, let him be wearing Asiwaju's cap everywhere, he's over for him as a governor. As a man, we must learn to abide by gentleman agreement.
What of the Governor of Kano state who didn't abide by gentleman agreement with Kwankwaso, shey he no deserve the Fubara treatment too?
“Open This Gate!” — Drama Erupts as APC Aspirant Pounds Deputy Governor’s Gate During Primaries in Nasarawa
What was supposed to be an APC House of Reps primary election in Nasarawa reportedly turned into a full-blown “hide and seek” competition after one of the aspirants, Hon. Usman Attah, allegedly spent the entire day chasing venues instead of delegates.
Hon. Attah, who contested for the APC ticket for Awe/Doma/Keana Federal Constituency, reportedly arrived at the APC Secretariat with her supporters ready for the primaries — only to meet a firmly locked gate waiting for her like a scene from a comedy skit.
After knocking, asking questions, and probably wondering if she came on the wrong date, she was allegedly informed that the primaries had suddenly relocated to the residence of the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor.
Determined not to miss the exercise, she and her supporters quickly moved to the new venue, only to discover that the second gate was also locked. At that point, what began as a political exercise reportedly started looking more like a treasure hunt.
Eyewitnesses claimed Hon. Attah made repeated efforts to gain entry, but all attempts failed. Frustrated and visibly angry, she reportedly resorted to banging the gate while raising alarm on social media, creating a dramatic scene that has since gone viral online.
Reports further alleged that some selected supporters had allegedly been lodged overnight at the Deputy Governor’s residence and were used for the primaries in favour of preferred candidates backed by powerful political figures in the state.
The incident has since sparked laughter, outrage, and endless jokes online, with many Nigerians sarcastically asking whether the APC primaries were an election or an invitation-only house party.
Meanwhile, Hon. Usman Attah is reportedly fighting to stop the release of the results and is demanding that the primaries be cancelled and conducted again under what she describes as a fair and transparent process.
Kekemeke? These man don tey for this position o. It seems it's because he's one of Tinubu's loyalist
An Ijaw man is representing the south west but some 🤡s who will never allow an Igala man occupy such a position in the south east will be claiming Yorubas are tribalist
EmebonMM: Unverified reports circulating online claim that multiple terrorist hideouts in Kaduna State were struck by what sources describe as U.S. airstrikes in the early hours of today. According to these accounts, at least three alleged camps were hit before Nigerian security forces reportedly moved in to conduct follow-up operations.
The strikes are described by the same sources as swift and highly precise, with residents reporting loud explosions that sent shockwaves across nearby communities.
Social media claims further allege that the residence of Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi was destroyed during the operation, though this information has not been independently confirmed.
Allies of former U.S. President Donald Trump are also quoted in online reports as referring to the alleged operation as a “New Year’s gift to terrorists.” However, as of the time of filing this report, no official confirmation or statement has been issued by either the United States or Nigerian authorities.
Please someone who lives in Kaduna should confirm this news!
OmoOshodi: resigned honourably ......he used to be a man I loved and respected Soo much as my parish pastor back in 2014 ...
Won ti ta epo si aso ala e
Lol
I don't understand, what's his crime? Why do you want him to resign? What did he do wrong
I thought there's something he's suppose to do and not doing in this Yahaya Bello's case, and that's why you're complaining. Nah why I asked you what you want him to do
Kaiser20: Just imagine a Terror Sponsor and a corrupt Boy Like Alhaji Yaya running for election after running away with over #800 billion naira Koji state Cash. If not for the corrupt leaders like Buhari and Alhaji Tinubu, Yaya Bello would have been in Kuje prison for 9 years
What do you want the EFCC and Tinubu to do that they are not doing presently on Bello's case?
OmoOshodi: Efcc chairman should cover his face in shame..... corruption swallowed him....Pastor Ola end up becoming the attack dog all his predecessors became..
"Nigeria is a disgraced country" -Donald J Trump 2025
What do you expect the EFCC chairman to do please?
galantjoe: They re aging with underlining old age ailments
I was not talking about his health. Just wandering what he used the billions of naira he got from the FG for when he was the governor. Except from some part of Asaba, very little can be point at even though Delta was receiving a massive amount of money
gidgiddy: I don't know how long Justice Omotosho has been a Judge of the Federal High Court, but if most Nigerian Judges reason like him, we are all in trouble. The job of Judge is not to side with the prosecution or defendant, his job is to side with the law, weigh the evidence before him, and render judgement dispassionately. What happened in the Federal High Court Abuja on November 20th was a biased Judge that came to lead a lynch mob. The first sign of trouble was when Omotosho kept asking Kanu to open his defence, and Kanu refused, insisting that he must know the law under which he is being tried. Kanu had good reason to this, the 2013 anti-terror law he was being tried under no longer exists, it was repealed in 2022. Justice Omotosho then angrily closed Kanu's right of defence without given Kanu his final address, something Omotosho had earlier ruled would be granted Kanu before Judgement
The second sign of trouble was that on the 20th of November, Justice Omotosho, who never allowed the Press into the court during Kanu's trial, the same Judge who insisted that all recording devices be turned off during trial, now allowed the Press in, allowed everyone in court to record and live stream the judgement. You could tell this was an angry Judge coming to make a statement.
When Kanu took to the stand, insisting on giving his final written address, the Judge refused. You are trying a man for an offence that carries the death sentence, but you deny him his final opportunity to address the court? Kanu even looked at Omotosho and asked him, 'is this why you brought in all the press?' After that, Omotosho ordered that Kanu be removed from court. He didn't want Kanu disturbing his pre-determined judgement.
Omotosho then spent over one hour reading a judgement that was all based on 'Kanu said this', 'Kanu said that'. The Judge even started mimicking Kanu's tone and brought in things Kanu was not even charged for, such as the claim that he threatened a former British Ambassador, and said he would bomb a US embassy. Omotosho then convicted Kanu.
I used to think that terrorism was about violence, destruction of life and property. It was with Omotosho that I learnt that terrorism is all about the words that come out of a person's mouth. Kanu said this, Kanu said that. He even convicted Kanu based on what Kanu said at the world Igbo Congress, USA, in 2014, more than 10 years ago. Despite having no evidence that Kanu killed anyone, despite having no evidence that Kanu was directly or indirectly in destruction of lives and property, the Judge convicted Kanu for terrorism based on Radio broadcast from as much as 10 years ago. A Judge who sent someone to life in jail because of the words that came out of his mouth
How I wish terrorism was all about spoken words, Radio broadcasts and verbal threats. The world would be a very safe place today.
It's people like you that made Kanu lose his head.
