Honestly the device is underated, it does everything I asked of it. Doesn't heat up when playing heavy duty games only gets warm, battery is good and performance have noticeably improved with the recent miui 12.5 update. Only draw back is that the ips screen is not as sharp, vibrant and bright as other ips screen but with hd content it's crips and very clear.

My redmi 9 never overheat, so I don't expect it's upgrade to overheat too

I also stream man u Vs Everton on redmi 9 and it's okay even charging it and was connected to Bluetooth, even with the hot climate. Maybe you need update.
