What you mentioned is known as POGROMS although it was a genocide in itself. But it is historically remembered as POGROMS and trust me those numbers exceeded 200 thousand, those numbers where highly watered down.

See I'm against one Nigeria alright. But to blame the British for something when clearly they are acting upon their own self interest is redundant. They would never pity anyone. They the Nigerians had their allies and the Biafrans too had their own allies. we are still one Nigeria cause solely because of betrayal here and there. The British cause was solely borne out of their own selfish interest which is what many countries even Palestinians and a divided India is suffering.

But my point is even if they the British did it was done because Africans keep looking towards them for support and to come and fight our battles...okay i have never seen any prominent Igbo man going to the international platform such as the un to protest that majority in the east want Biafra or any organization striving to actualize Biafra...IPOB and co appears to be only but a few. I really love the great Igbo tribe even though I am not Igbo. Even in the face of oppression the fear no one, they speak their mind and fear no idiot.
