Jsplash: 1.Medulla OblongataSorry for being late bro. I had a busy day. Am jst returning now! Well, bro tnx for ur contribution. You tried very well. But you shoul know that MEDULLA OBLOGATA controls on the INVOLUNTARY ACTIONS like yawning, sneezing etc. When the animal is hot, there is excess heat in the body. Blood flow in the dermal capillaries is stimulated, and the heat vessels in the skin dilated-this is called vasodilation. Similarly, when the animal is cold, the blood vessels I the skin constricts-this is called vasoconstriction. The skin does this so as to regulate the body temperature of the animal. Normally, the flow of blood is controlled by the heart. But on that node, in the brain there is an organ called HYPOTHALAMUS- it lies bellow the thalamus in the brain that is connected to the PITUARY gland. This hypothalamus regulates the body temperature, osmo-regulation and blood pressure. So it is the hypothalamus and NOT the medulla oblongata. |
Lateef9961: more qstn broxok I'm coming.... |
lirusehn: bro u try o buh u no get amHahahaha tell me ooo |
Lateef9961: wrong nw.let me break it down 4 u.Good one here! You made me release that the protozoa {tryposome} lives in d salivary gland of a tse tse fly. It affects mainly farm animals like cow. The effect on them makes the cow suffer from fever-- I've forgotten d name of the fever. It also causes weakness to cow. Where there are too many cows, tse tse flies must be there. You tried bro! I failed it woefully!! |
lirusehn: U guyz ar trying o. Dez questnz of mine are foolish-like shey? Jez answer plz *winks*No 1; The doctor is the victim's brother No 2: It seems it's further mathematics Logic and reasoning. The answer should be zero {0}, since two parallel line will only meet at infinity. No 3: No attempt |
Lateef9961: 1.Which of the ffg has 4 heart chambers? No 5: Cocci are bacteria that are circular in shape. They may stick 2geda to form chains {stretococci}, they may occur in bunch or cluster {staphyloccoci}, they may also occur in pairs i.e. they stick 2geda in pairs{diplococci}. The causative agent is a bacterium. Trypanosomiasis is caused by tse tse fly which causes sleeping sickness. Is not a zoonotic disease Cancer is the outward growth of abnormal cells. Is not a zoonotic disease Since a zoonotic disease is cured by a veterinary doctor, it must have been a disease related to farm animals. Two options now left, it's either option C or D Peace# |
Lateef9961: numba 1 and 5silly me........amphibians have three chambered heart while AVES have four chambered heart. Three are well developed while one is not well defined. I deserved a FLOG! |
Lateef9961: u got 8/10.u tried fa,u b guru owat are the two numbers I failed?? U knw dat Biology questions always look so simple but confusing, more so, biology is too wide! |

mohammed121: Q1 u no dat NaCL is a strong base an all base ar 2 b react wit detergent QB aquar[strong H2O] or NH3 Qcit depend by d present of d elementdats for soapless detergent. NH3 and chlorine play a vital role. E.g in the manufacture of JIK detergent. Chlorine fights the germs as ammonia removes dirts. N/B: cold water is used as solvent so dat it reduces d concentration of chlorine by d removal of HcL: Cl2 + H2O ---------> HOCl + HCl Then the presence of H2O2 boosts the detergent |
mohammed121: when u ar doing terteration n LAB.wht dd use, as ur base dt ll disob n acid[H2SO4,HCL] an hw dd u prepare it pls explain.TITRATION simply stands for the reaction between an acid and a base to form salt and water as the only products. This type of reaction is called NEUTRALIZATION reaction. Nacl is a salt produced by a reaction between a strong acid e.g Hcl and a strong base e.g NaOH; Hcl + NaOH ---------> Nacl + H2O. It is a normal salt because d reaction involves a strong acid and strong base. The salt produced is neither acidic nor basic. Peace# |

Lateef9961: u are ryt 2 but wat i want u 2 knw x dat the boiling point and melting point and density stil depend on the arrangement of their atom.I said it before. More chemistry or biology question |
Lateef9961: yea,NO2 is the only oxide of nitrogen that dissolve in water to produce 2 acid, and it also the only acidic oxide that react with base to produce to two salt. You are right but that's their chemical properties. When you talk about physical properties of an element, depend on: Boiling point, density, solubility and melting point. But Boiling point plays a very vital role. If you check ur explanation well, u'll observe dat u re xplainin d factors listed above |
Lateef9961: A.the important of NaCL in the productn of soap i$?A: the addition of Nacl precipitates the soap from it's impurities in soap production B: the oxides of nitrogen that form acid rain as follows: N2 + O2 ------> 2NO 2NO + O2 ------> 2NO2 Then the NO2 reacts with SO2 etc.. It is not only one oxide of N2 dat causes acid rain. Infact in biology we learnt dat all oxides of nitrogen contribute to dat. C: the physical properties are determined by their boiling points |
mohammed121: whch couse ar u my is chemistry 300lam still a jambite oo. Medicine aspirant |

mohammed121: 4m periodic table electron increase 4m left 2 right but dicrease down d group. Y? pls CHEM IS TRY student i ned ans 2 ds quesion?be specific. Is it electropositives or electronegatives. Is it atomic radius or ionization energy etc. Tell us!! |
Lateef9961: Apart from trioxonitrate of Na and k that decompose into dioxonitrate, all other mettalic trioxonitrate decompose into their oxide and No2 gas is evolvedwhich course are you pursuing? |
Abokii8: FOR CHEMISTRY GURUS.....BRAIN TEASER... A HANDSOME GIFT AWAIT ANYBODY WITH SATISFACTORY EXPLANATION. Q1, Explain the following experimental observations: A, the presence of peroxides reverses the orientation of group in addition of hydrogen halide to alkenes. B, halides of lithium are soluble in organic solvents, but they are either deliquescent or highly hydrated, why? C,state the effect of strong heating on the trioxocarbonate and trioxonitrate salts of calcium. D, Aluminium does not corrode like iron. Explain. No A: All alkenes undergo addition reactions with the hydrogen halides. A hydrogen atom joins to one of the carbon atoms originally in the double bond, and a halogen atom to the other. For example, with ethene and hydrogen chloride, you get chloroethane: |
Explain. No C: Trioxonitrate(V) are decomposed by heat to form products that are determined by the position of the metallic component in the electrochemical series. Apart from potassium, sodium and lead trioxonitrates(V), all others contain water of crystallization that dissolve the salts when heated. The salts are said to crackle when heated and will only decompose when the entire water content is driven off. A: when caco3 is heated thermally, it produces cao and co2 No B: this is because halides of lithium belongs to S-block. I.e they form hydroxoide on reaction with water. No D; somebody got it very correct. |
