Shimasparkle: 1)Arthropoda,2)antibiotics are drugs used 2 cure bacterial infections whyl vaccines re drugs injected in2 d bloodstream to create antibodies that prevent bacterial infections,3)diaphram,5)deamination is the break down of fat by the liver,6)skin,(You tried dear...but let me correct u in No 5: since, the body doesn't store excess protein it is deaminated in the liver. So, it's the breaking down of excess protein by the liver into urea, uric acid etc. In No8: I think it should be the SEBACIOUS gland! |
Cool...... |
Lateef9961: i dnt lyk arguing sha.It is neiher argument anyway. I want you to know the FACT. |
Lateef9961: yea,ur correct, wrought iron is the ansa, but u stil missed the other two. When you search and think very well, you will know that I'm correct just the way you agreed with me in number 7. |
Lateef9961: 1.displacement is the distance covered in a specifìc directn. Is No7 diaphram or LENS? |
Lateef9961: dnt be angry,he is jst playing wif uexactly ooo! Abeg I'm jst playing my dear. Am so sorry once again! I like playing jokes. I'm so so sorry pls forgive me oooo |
Lateef9961: u got 3/7.hehehehe you must be kidding. VASOPRESIN is another name for ADH. And it's function is OSMO-REGULATION. Gonadial artery is the (Gonadotrophins)! Hmmm! Check your question in No5: You even failed it. Consult your textbooks and confirm it. Reject any textbook that told you that PIG IRON is the purest is a FAKE textbook. CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY students let's start our research and bring out your references. My dear friend LATEEF, go and check very well. I will bring out references in due time. |
Shimasparkle: wow,dat hurtssorry dear.........am so sorry!!........which course are you applying for? |
Shimasparkle: Wow wow wow,we've all learnt a lot 4rm bio/chem,kudos to guys lyk Ikem and Lateef and the rests, lets take a short switch to physics,,,right here....try it,they're cheap.1=what is displacement,2=what is a scalar quantity,gv 3 examples,3=what is a vector quantity,gv 3 examples,4=what is acceleration,5=what is a machine,6=what is the unit of linear expansivity,7=what part of the camera corresponds to the iris of the human eye,8=which radioactive ray has the greatest penetrating power,9=name the 3 primary colours,10=what is a pure spectrum.you're questions are cheap indeed!! Please let another help me in answering this. That's SS1 work and some SS3. |
Lateef9961: 1.what is EGESTION?1) Egestion is the removal of from the body undigested waste food materials. 2) Osmo-regulation 3) Keratin 4)Gonadotrophins 5)Median fissure contains double fold of PIA MATER, its floor is formed by a transverse band of WHITE SUBSTANCE, the anterior white commissure, which is perforated by blood vessels on their way to or from the central part of the medulla spinlis. 6) Cranial = 12 pairs in human and 31 left-right pairs of spinal nerves 7)Wrought iron |
But wait ooo! The CO2 is absorbed by the H2SO4 thus the release of CO2 becomes impossible. The equation for the reaction: H2SO4 + CO2 --------> H2CO3 + SO3. However your explanation more accurate. When CaCO3 reacts with acid e.g HCl, CO2 is liberated: CaCO3 + 2Hcl -------> Cacl2 + H2O + CO2. Thermal dissociation of the marble liberates the gas as follows; etc but H2SO4 doesn't give the reaction! CaCO3 ------------->CaO + CO2 The thing went off my memory! Thanks bro!! |
Lateef9961: èeyah i dnt even dat v commitd a lot of blunder oo,bcus i typed the qstn wen i was working.bt stil u got it sha. U got dat numba 1.I failed NO2: but in NO3: we are saying the same thing. Review my answer once again! |
Lateef9961: 1.Apart from silical gel, what oda compound has the ability to absorb HN3 gas?In NO1: I think there is an error there. Silica gel is used to dry all gases. If any compound has the ability of absorbing certain gas, it isn't a good drying agent to the compound. And two, the gas which you wrote HN3 I think it should be NH3 (ammonia) gas. If it's NH3 gas, apart from silica gel which dries all gases, another suitable compound is CaO (quick lime) which is a hygroscopic substance. 2). H2SO4 readily reacts with the CO2 thus: H2SO4 + CO2 -----------> H2CO3 + SO3 3). The mechanisms for blood clotting aren't only three. (i) Formation of prothrombinase (ii) Prothrombin converted into the enzyme THROMBIN (iii) Fibronogen (soluble) converted to fibrin (insoluble) To some it may include; I) vascular spasm (ii) platelet plug formation (iii) coagulation These are the first step as it involves a complex factors including Ca ion, enzymes, platelets and damage tissues activating each. |
Jsplash: Hiiiiiii!same to u bro! |
Lateef9961: i made a mistake in dat no 3 i want 2 ryt hypertonic solution.Note, OOCYTE is simply mother EGG CELL. Tnx |
Lateef9961: i made a mistake in dat no 3 i want 2 ryt hypertonic solution.shebi I've explained to you the reason why you failed on 2go! Lampbrush chromosome is found in the oocyte of amphibians. NOT all sugars are monosaccaride. Good morning all! |
Lateef9961: 1.molluscNos 1, 2 are correct and I'll give you half in number 5. You tried!!! CORRECTIONS! No 3: hypertonic solution No 4: Dura mater 5. Conversion of sugar to polysaccharide 6. Oocyte 7. Germinal mutation |
@musty001, lateef....God bless u. We all are learners. I've even learnt more from you guys. You all are great. One thing is sure...ABU here we come!! Allah will grant you your heart desires and you will be admitted into your different choices of studies......so also my Jesus will fulfill my heart desire! |

Shimasparkle: What is the difference between empirical formular and molecular formular.Molecular formula is the number and the type of atoms that are present in a single mole of a substance. While empirical formula is also known as the simplest formula. It is the ratio of elements in the compound. Some examples are (I): Glucose has a molecular formula of C6H12O6. But the empirical formula of CH2O. The combining ratio of Hydrogen to Oxygen is 2:1. (II) Hydrogen peroxoide has a molecular formula of H2O2. But empirical formula of HO etc.. |
Lateef9961: Gtd mawni pals.aw was ur nyt.was gud and urs?? |

Lateef9961: 4/5? Dax badt walaiA DORMINANT GENE is the gene that expresses itself at the first filal generation (F1). Offspring simply means new young ones produce after sexual reproduction. The features that these offspring possess that can show itself is a dorminant trait. So it is NOT offspring but dorminant gene |
Shimasparkle: all correct, thumbs up ikem,i tink my questns re too cheap,,lol,,,mind u,hiv/aids is an std nt a sex-linked traitDon't mind my silly mistake. More questions from you |
Jewel Bukky: As una don ansa am nw nd ma gurus' dey giv necessary corrections, wat else...U check and ask questions where necessary for explanation. It's ur turn now |
