Of all the problems facing Anambra state he chose to build a second airport he may not complete when the same money could have been used to build power plants and solar farms to truly ensure the industrialization of Anambra state.
Sometimes I just wonder how our leaders reason. I am amazed that a professor of Economics that did very well as cbn governor is failing miserably as a state governor.
I really had high hopes in him but I am terribly disappointed.

Before you go judging/demonising the Catholic Church, I think you should re-read the Word of God (aka your Bible) in particular 2 These 2:15 which talks about the passing down of traditions and you should read the Catechism of the Catholic church to understand why it does what it does. I shall respond to your comments below.

1. The blessed Mary was on earth with the apostles after her son died. It is very very likely that whilst she was on earth they asked her to pray for them the way all Christians ask people they love and trust to pray for them

2. When Jesus was alive, He said that God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the God of the living and not of the dead. Please read your Bible and look for where He said this. At the time He said, none of the people mentioned were alive on earth. If Jesus has said that they are alive, why do you assume that His own mother is not alive in heaven. The woman that was picked by God to carry His child. Also prayer is not the same as worship. And your comment suggests that you do not believe that there is life after death. Didn't Jesus speak to Moses and one of the prophets on Mount Tabor just before He died?

3. There is no point in responding to this. What processions to the Catholics practice that are satanic?

4. I don't even understand what your point is here? Did they go to service? Please tell us where they were going? I would advise you to re-read the scriptures and then attend a Catholic mass and you will see that everything that is said during mass comes either straight out of the Bible (virtually word for word) or it is a prayer.

5. What is your point here? Go and read about sacramentals in the Catechism and understand what the church teaches about it.

6. When people were first baptised, entire households were baptised - they did not say in scripture that the children in the households were NOT baptised. Everyone in the house was baptised. Please go and re-read your Bible.

7. Where does it say in scripture that they didn't believe in purgatory?

8. Where does it say in scripture that they didn't use holy water?

9. What is the issue with use of the term Pope. The word derives from the ancient Greek páppas, an affectionate term meaning 'father'. Is the word pastor used by the apostles in the Bible?

10. Catholics do not worship idols. If you don't understand the teaching of the Catholic church go and read the Catechism. Please note that loving anything more than God makes that thing an idol. E.g. Doing anything for money including not following the teachings of Jesus for money turn money into an idol and means the person is worshipping money not God. Jesus himself said you cannot serve God and money. No Catholic places any of the Saints or the Blessed Virgin Mary above the Trinity.

OP , let me tell you something I'm from Anambra state but we need to stop calling medicore stuff as world class or modern city .

If you really love your state , you need to stop praising the sub standard Governors of the state that have done nothing siginificant for the state .
