This country is funny! Soldiers will not provide security if election holds as scheduled but they will provide security if another date is fix. Is't that funny? It is believe Bh will be wiped out once election is postponed. All elegible voters will collect their PVC once election is postponed. Hmmm, there is more to this than what I can imagine. |

This recent update was released on FIFA’s official website and said that Nigeria will be suspended immediately if there are stills officials claiming to have been elected to NFF positions on 26 August 2014 and occupying their offices on Monday, 8 September 2014 at 08.00 (Central European Time). FIFA said that they would and will not recognise the August 26 elections held in Abuja due to the absence of the NFF President, who was being held by security forces for questioning. The FIFA statement read: “In a letter sent on 29 August 2014, FIFA confirmed that it would not recognise the results of the aforementioned elections and that the matter would be brought to the respective FIFA bodies should there still be persons claiming to have been elected and occupying the NFF offices at midnight on 1 September 2014. On expiry of the deadline, some people were still claiming to have been elected and were occupying the NFF premises. “Given the current circumstances, the FIFA Emergency has decided to set a new deadline of 8 September 2014 at 08.00 CET. Should the new deadline not be respected, the NFF will be automatically suspended until the board claiming to be elected vacates the premises of the NFF and the NFF General Secretary is able to perform his work without interference. The elections was held on August 25th 2014 with then president Maigari being held by DSS security official with no charge. Chris Giwa won the election but the Refree’s union and Nigerian club union along with major football unions in the nation refused to acknowledge him as the NFF leader. This is the second deadline FIFA has givenNigeria, The first deadline was September 1. |
As a patriotic Nigerian, Ike Uche should think of the country first before his ego, if coach SK has given him opportunity, he embrace it. However, I will appreciate if he comes out and defend himself over the allegation. |
