PUBLIC NOTICE!

This is to notify the general public about a direct threat to my life by one Senator Grace Folashade Bent (nee Makinwa) from Adamawa State.

For a longtime, I had no idea who Senator Bent was until I shared a public space with her at an event years ago. Thereafter, I saw her twice in court standing in for her friend, Femi Fani-Kayode, with whom I am currently embroiled in a Court battle for the custody of my four beautiful children.

SPECIFICS

Few hours ago, I got a call from a family friend whom I hold in high esteem asking me to come over. I did only to be informed by my family friend that Senator Bent claimed that I hired assassins to harm her and her daughter using my “FANS”. As risible and ridiculous her allegation sounded to me the fact is that I have no personal grouse with the Senator nor her daughter. It is to be noted that a call was put across to the Senator in my presence and I emphatically reiterated my lack of interest in her and indifference to her involvement with my case in court, since the final decision in the custody battle isn't hers to make. Senator Grace Bent then went berserk on a cursing spree, threatening to deal with me both in her personal capacity and using the DSS and the Police.

As previously stated, Senator Bent has been beside FFK on a number of occasions, in the custody matter pending in Court. Since the institution of that suit, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) has engaged in surreptitious and subterranean shenanigan mendacity in order to keep me out of circulation. Further, using some unscrupulous law enforcement agents, even former domestic staff had been harassed incessantly and illegally detained for no justifiable reasons, in the false hope of getting them intimidated and unable to act as potential witnesses for me in my child custody matter.

In continuation of the illegal and wanton acts of harassment and intimidation; apparently Senator Bent, obviously acting at the behest of a person wanting to pervert the course of justice, is trying to lay a foundation for a future Police or DSS harassment by a ruse of falsity! The odious allegation by Senator Bent is merely a subterfuge to launch another frivolous petition or report to the Police or DSS, all in a desperate attempt to cow me into submission over the pending custody matter between me and Fani-Kayode.

I have no fear of the Senator, who is running the errands for her boss. Suffice it to state for the discerning public that in the event that any harm come to me in the course of the custody battle pending in Court, both Femi Fani-Kayode and Senator Bent are to be held to account and responsible!

I have decided to put this matter into the public domain because Senator Bent on 29th July 2021, verbally threatened to deal with me using the Police and the DSS. Given the antecedents of her collaborator-in-chief, there is no iota of doubt that they are indeed trying to use law enforcement agents to accomplish their dastardly and nefarious agenda against me!

Given my previous experience of bestial brutality using the same methodology; I wish to place it on public record that Senator Bent not only falsely accused me, but also audaciously and contumaciously threatened me before witnesses. I have chosen to make this public as it is clear to me that all of this is geared towards muscling me to get off my custody suit, which is now pending before the Court of Appeal over an interlocutory issue filed by FFK in an attempt to frustrate the substantive matter.

Fight for custody: Precious alleges maltreatment of children by Fani-Kayode’s girlfriends

Precious Chikwendu, the estranged wife of the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has alleged the maltreatment of their four children by the ministers’ girlfriends.

Precious made the allegations in an Abuja court while a detailed court document sighted by DAILY POST confirmed the claims.

She alleged that her children; Aragon, 5-years-old, and three-year-old twins, Liam, Ragnar and Aiden have constantly been exposed to different levels of indecency through their contact with Fani-Kayode’s women in “very awkward and uncompromising positions”.

The claims were contained in a response to the former minister who had appealed against a previous court judgement on the grounds that the court lacks jurisdiction and was invalidated by the operation of the law, non-service of originating summons and lack of fair hearing.

In that appeal, the former minister had prayed the court to dismiss the matter and/or permit the case file to be returned to the chief judge of the Federal High Court of the Federal Capital Territory.

But the court had ruled that Fani-Kayode be served the notices and advised that custody proceedings commence forthwith.

However, Fani-Kayode’s ex-wife, Precious in a response to the appeal, alleged that the former minister had frequently denied her access to their children using security officials and protocol officers attached to him since August 2, 2020.

The court document seen by DAILY POST indicated that the incident happened after the respondent (Precious) took a walk around the house and upon her return has since been denied access to the former minister’s residence or their kids.

She also alleged that the former minister was unfit to take care of their four children, claiming that Fani-Kayode was taken to globetrotting leaving the children at the mercy of various women and nannies.

Precious in the document said, “I worry about my children’s education status as my first son was stopped from going to school since August 2020, and the triplets who are due for school are not in school or given education access.

“That as a young mother, I have been traumatised and physically assaulted by the appellant who is all out in a bid to forcefully take away the children from me and further delay this appeal. Annexed as Exhibit C1 and C2.

“That there is a need that I preserve my right and interest and that of my children who are minors.”

She claimed that if there is further delay in granting her application, the former minister may take the children away from the courts authority.

“He may make good his threat of relocating my four children out of the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court and/or out of Nigeria to a location in which I will be denied a chance of ever seeing them again,” she alleged.

NDLEA arrests lady with multiple identities for trafficking 296,000 tabs of illicit drugs
. Wears hijab to evade detection; 465kg of skunk seized in Ondo

A 36-year-old lady, Chioma Afam, who uses multiple identities and wears hijab to evade security scrutiny has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA in Benue state along with her partner, Peace Chidinma Caleb, 22, for trying to smuggle a total of 296,000 tablets of Diazepam and Exol-5 from Onitsha, Anambra state to Gombe state.

Chioma who uses multiple names such as Amina, Uzoamaka and Ifunaya to cover her criminal activities was arrested on Saturday 17th July, 2021, along with the 22-year-old Peace Chidinma Caleb who also wears hijab as a cover for her nefarious activities during routine checks and profiling of inward vehicles into Makurdi, the Benue state capital. Their vehicle coming from Onitsha, Anambra state was intercepted along Makurdi Alliade road while heading to Gombe State via Makurdi.

A search of their vehicle led to the discovery of 43kilograms of Diazepam and 33kg of Exol-5, both weighing 76 kilograms with a total of Two Hundred and Ninety Six Thousand (296,000) tablets packed in four large Ghana must go bags.

Curiously, the two interstate drug traffickers have rebuffed efforts to take pictures with the exhibits without wearing their hijab.

Meanwhile, the Ondo state command of the Agency on Sunday 18th July, 2021 intercepted one Olu Ameh, a commercial motorcycle rider with 465 kilograms of cannabis sativa along Ijagba-Ute road in Ose local government area of the state.

The illicit substance was said to have been bought from one Joseph in Ago-Akure, Akure North LGA and being conveyed to the buyer, a certain Egbonwon at Ijagba village in Ose LGA.

Reacting to the two seizures and arrests, Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA commended the commanders, officers and men of the Benue and Ondo state Commands of the Agency for their efforts to ensure that no illicit substance is allowed to pass through their areas of responsibility under whatever guise or cover to destroy the lives of innocent Nigerians in other parts of the country. While wishing them and their colleagues in other Commands across Nigeria a happy sallah celebration, he charged them to remain vigilant at all times.

For us in NDLEA, a kilogram of illicit drug seized by our gallant and courageous officers across the country is a kilogram less what is available on the streets and in our communities and that is why well continue to encourage all our officers and men to continue to give their best in our pursuit of the mandate President Muhammadu Buhari has given us, Gen. Marwa stated on Wednesday in Abuja.
