JAMB Delists Five CBT Centres, Arrests 27 Impersonators, Issues Important Warning


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has delisted five CBT centres during the 2025 UTME for failing to meet required technical standards.

Delisted Centres
1. Adventure Associate, Kano State
2. Saadatu Rimi College of Education, Kano State
3. Penta M & F Technical Services Ltd (Centre 2), Sokoto State
4. Penta M & F Technical Services Ltd (Centre 1), Sokoto State
5. Soronara Ventured Nigeria Limited, Imo State

JAMB praised 883 centres for good performance but warned that any centre failing technical or ethical standards will be blacklisted.

Notice to Candidates
If you were assigned to any delisted centre, urgently reprint your exam slip to check your new centre and date. JAMB will not accept excuses from candidates who fail to do this.

Statistics So Far
Over 900,000 candidates have completed the exam out of 2,083,600 registered candidates.

27 Impersonators Arrested
JAMB confirmed the arrest of 27 impersonators. They have been handed over to the police for prosecution.

Hijab Incident at Caleb University
JAMB addressed reports of restrictions on candidates wearing hijabs at Caleb University CBT centre.
The university management apologized and assured that no candidate was disadvantaged. JAMB also apologized to affected candidates.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) portal opens on April 7, 2025, for Batch “A” Stream I mobilisation. All prospective corps members (PCMs), both locally and foreign-trained, should complete their registration before the deadline: April 11, 2025.

For Locally-Trained Graduates
- A National Identification Number (NIN) is required.

- First-time users should select “Fresh Registration.”

- Those who did not report to camp in previous batches should click “Revalidation.”

- If you started but didn’t finish registration, click “Login Here.”

- Use a webcam for facial capture. Dress properly and avoid blurry photos.

- Thumbprint in person. No proxies allowed.

- Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, and Course of Study shown on certificates cannot be changed after camp.

- Use the dashboard to apply for corrections (Name, DOB, Course, Qualification, etc.).

- Armed Forces personnel should upload valid ID.

- Married female PCMs must upload marriage documents.

- Indicate any disability or health issues and upload relevant documents.

- Personally monitor your registration to avoid errors.

For Foreign-Trained Graduates

- Do not open more than one account.

- Upload original documents and enter your name exactly as shown on your certificate.

- You must thumbprint in Nigeria before going to camp.

- If your institution is not evaluated, get an Evaluation Letter from the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja.

- Uploaded SSCE results must be at least four (4) years old.

- Select a pre-camp verification centre during registration.

- Present yourself physically with original certificates, transcripts, and travel documents.

- If already verified, print your Clearance Slip for camp.

- Carry a translated copy of your certificate if not in English.

- Those exempted must collect their Exemption Certificate at NYSC HQ.

- Those excluded will print their Exclusion Letter from their dashboard.

- Use only accredited Cyber Café Operators.
- Charges range from ₦5,000 to ₦6,000 depending on location.
