SportsBukayo Saka Proposes To Longtime Girlfriend Tolami Benson In London by ikutikut(op): 7:46am On Dec 01, 2025
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is officially engaged after proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Tolami Benson, during a private and special evening at a top hotel in London.

According to reports, the 24-year-old footballer went “all out” for the moment and presented Tolami with an “absolutely enormous” engagement ring. The couple, both aged 24, have been together for at least five years.

Though they’ve kept their relationship mostly private, fans first spotted them together during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Tolami has also been seen supporting Saka at Euro 2024, including a memorable pitch-side kiss after England’s draw with Slovenia.

The proposal was intimate, romantic, and carefully planned by the Arsenal winger.

Gunmen abduct six real estate marketers in Ogun
The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, has confirmed the abduction of six marketers working for a Lagos-based real estate company at Oyebola village in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state.

Ogunlowo disclosed this in a telephone interview with Punch on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

A resident of a neighbouring community, who spoke on condition of anonymity, had earlier told the publication that the attack occurred on Friday.

Confirming the incident, Ogunlowo said the marketers were taken while on an inspection visit to the company’s land in the area.

“So, they brought some marketers from Lagos to come and see the land so that they can have the requisite information to market the land for the members of the public who are interested," the CP stated.

“It was during their visit to this land that the six people were abducted. It happened on Friday, and the command had been on it since, and we shall definitely ensure that these people regain their freedom.

CrimeLagos Police Arrest Suspect, Recover Firearms, Ammunition, And Illicit Drugs by ikutikut(op): 4:56pm On Oct 12, 2025

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBm9VUWbGq4?si=c2Z1lh4ErDtnKyUw

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspect and recovered firearms, ammunition, and illicit drugs during a recent intelligence-led operation aimed at curbing criminal activities across the state.

According to the Command, officers acted on credible intelligence which led to the arrest of the suspect, who was found in possession of dangerous weapons and illegal substances. Several firearms, rounds of live ammunition, and substances suspected to be hard drugs were recovered during the operation.

Police authorities confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation, as investigations continue to trace possible links to other criminal groups operating within Lagos and neighbouring states. The Command described the development as another major step in its renewed efforts to rid the state of illegal arms and drug-related offences.

Residents and security observers have commended the police for their swift response and professionalism. They noted that the successful operation reflects the growing efficiency of intelligence-driven policing and the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and the public.

The Lagos State Police Command stated that it will continue to intensify raids on criminal hideouts, black spots, and drug dens across the metropolis. It also reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and protecting lives and property through proactive operations and community partnerships.

A senior police officer emphasized that every illegal weapon recovered represents one less threat to public safety and urged residents to continue providing useful information to assist security agencies. He assured that the Command remains determined to sustain its fight against crime and ensure Lagos becomes a safer and more secure state for all.

CelebritiesMeet The Man Behind Big Brother’s Iconic Voice — Ejike Ibedilo by ikutikut(op): 4:06pm On Oct 12, 2025
If you’ve ever watched Big Brother Naija, you’ve definitely heard the deep and commanding voice that says “This is Big Brother.” That voice gives the show its power and mystery, setting the tone for every task, eviction, and twist. But behind that unforgettable sound is a real person — Ejike Ibedilo, the man whose voice has become a symbol of authority and suspense in Big Brother Naija.

The Man Behind the Voice

Ejike Ibedilo is a Nigerian actor, voice-over artist, and former radio presenter who became the unseen star of Big Brother Naija. In the viral video titled “Meet The Man Behind The Mysterious Voice ‘This Is Big Brother’,” he finally opens up about what it’s like to be the voice everyone listens to but never sees.

He shares how his background in radio helped him develop the calm authority needed for the role. Every time he speaks, housemates pause and listen — and millions of viewers instantly recognize his tone. Even though he’s one of the most famous voices in Nigeria, Ejike has managed to stay out of the spotlight, keeping the mystery alive.

How He Became “Big Brother”

Ejike didn’t set out to be the man behind Big Brother’s voice. His journey started in broadcasting, where he learned to control pitch, timing, and expression — skills that would later make him perfect for the job.

When producers were searching for someone to embody the “Big Brother” presence, they needed a voice that could command respect and still sound human. Ejike’s calm but firm delivery made him the perfect fit. Since then, he has become one of the most important — yet unseen — parts of the show.

Every announcement, warning, or task assignment comes through his microphone, and the way he speaks adds intensity and emotion to every moment in the house.

Why His Voice Matters So Much

The Big Brother voice is more than just narration — it’s the show’s identity.

Authority – The voice represents control inside the house. When Big Brother speaks, everyone listens.

Mystery – Not showing the person behind the voice adds suspense and makes the game feel more powerful.

Emotion – Even without being seen, Ejike’s tone carries warmth, humor, and sometimes tension, depending on the situation.

Without that voice, Big Brother Naija wouldn’t have the same excitement. It sets the mood, drives the drama, and gives the house structure.

Keeping the Mystery Alive

Even after fans discovered his identity, Ejike continues to protect the Big Brother image. He rarely talks about behind-the-scenes moments and avoids revealing too much. That mystery is what keeps the audience guessing and keeps Big Brother’s presence larger than life.

Ejike understands that he’s not just doing voice work — he’s creating an experience. His voice connects the audience to the emotions and decisions unfolding in the house.

A Voice That Defines a Generation

Big Brother Naija has become one of Africa’s biggest and most-watched reality shows. Housemates come and go every season, but the voice of Big Brother remains the same — confident, calm, and unforgettable.

Ejike Ibedilo has shown that you don’t need to be on camera to make an impact. His voice has become part of Nigerian pop culture — instantly recognizable and forever tied to the thrill of Big Brother.

EducationPLASU Denies Tuition Fee Increase For 2025/2026 by ikutikut(op): 11:38am On Oct 11, 2025
The management of Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, has clarified that there has been no increase in tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. This statement comes in response to recent social media posts suggesting a fee hike.

According to an internal memorandum signed by the Registrar, Yakubu F. Ayuba, and sent to all students, the university confirmed that tuition fees for both new and returning students have stayed the same since 2022. Despite rising costs and inflation, PLASU has maintained its fee structure to ease the financial pressure on students.

The memo further explained that the confusion may have been caused by the introduction of a new ₦5,000 ICT charge, which is entirely separate from tuition fees. This charge was approved by the University’s Governing Council to support ICT services and provide free internet access across campus.

It also restated that the ₦10,000 Bench Fee, introduced in 2021 to replace irregular departmental levies, remains unchanged. Initially meant for final-year students, the fee now applies to students in 22 departments whose programmes involve outdoor learning activities such as fieldwork, excursions, and productions.

The university encouraged students to make use of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) made available by the Federal Government. This initiative aims to reduce financial challenges connected with tuition and related payments.
