Kobojunkie:
1. Your uncle, regardless of what time he claims to be from, has never had any right to hit you. The law in Nigeria has been around long enough for every adult to realize what it says and take time to adjust to it. 🥱🥱

2. Arseholery is inexcusable, no matter where on this planet you claim to be from or in. 🥱🥱

3. The law allows you to fight back when assaulted. The law is on OP's side in this, while the law is against the Uncle's actions. 🥱🥱🥱

4. I don't care who you care. If you don't respect my rights as a human, there is no reciprocity from me. 🥱🥱
Na lie, u no fit beat ur papa back...

Dont try that here no matter what u smoke

We go join hands beat u like fufu ni and if u dare go to station

The DPO will beat u join

The Uncle should have learned that assault is never a good idea. That is the law, even in Nigeria. grin
Thsts his uncle

He is probably from a different time

Some things are excusable in a normal african setting because of age or status differences

Slapping your uncle even in retaliation doesn't sound right

Would u slap ur dad back? Even tho he assaulted u?
Family › Re: Why I Slapped My Uncle Recently And Became A Bad Person by illicit(m):
You could have done better tho

Such things have a way of coming back

You really didn't have to slap him, what if his kids are heftier or richer than u, apart from that self

That's your uncle man, its okay that u guys have history so u guys single each other out anytime

He is your uncle

"We even let him get away with saying too much derogatory things about us", patriot, you know, you can lead a one man attack against Trump because you, a faceless nobody, who support APC (a terrorist organisation), does not like what Trump, the most powerful person in the world says.
I don't worship him, you can

When my person was deprted from SA

Arriving in Nigeria, Nigeria police don dey wait her... They have her details, her name was on a placard

My friend spent years in auatralia, half of it in jail for drugs and narco possession

After his term, they put him on a plane to Lagos

He met interpol on arrival in Nigeria, waiting for him

He spent another weeks with them for processing before he was released to relatives like on bail

U will understand me now

That's the price for embracing Islam and the very same people want the south east to do the same, this was how the north started till they got to the level of Shekau and Turji.

You won't see them here making noise and insulting their tribe like if it happened in the south east,

Why did the god of those who did it allow them to do it?

So are you saying the god of those who did it allow them to do bad things?

Can't their god stop them from doing bad things?
We are actually saying the same thing...

What makes them sure they would be successful and they are usually successful

Romance › Re: Was I Wrong For Wearing This To Wedding by illicit(m):
Let me expain further

People use to wear black at funerals, now some wear white especially at the wake keep

Why not red, blue, green or any colour?

Some items, rites, things and colours have been dedicated to particular rituals or activities

You were kind of wrong to wear that same dress you wore as a uniform at the funeral to the wedding, it could cause discomfort

Infact it did
Romance › Re: Was I Wrong For Wearing This To Wedding by illicit(m):
You were very insensitive not to say the least

Items can bring back memories, the only thing i kept for myself and personal use among my late mum's things was the last plate she bought

I want to keep eating her food or remember her when i eat, when a girlfriend stole my things, i had to ask for that particular plate

Seeing u in that dress might make anyone in your family uncomfortable especially at the wedding of another family member

Its not like u commit a crime but in literature its called symbolism, i mean the association of the white dress with the funeral rite

Kobojunkie:
The ritual is, of course, a colossal waste of time as you gain absolutely nothing from that singing and screaming using the many mentions of God as though your many mind games move God. It is utterly ridiculous how people are even convinced that God is moved by such nonsense when ordinary men do not even flinch when the same games are played on them. Like, say religious people believe God is their celestial mumu undecided

You gain more from partying with others out in the streets, halls, and clubs, as you get a chance to make new friends, network, and have a good time without dealing with the regrets of the past year. Imagine walking away this evening with at least 5 contacts that could help change your business or outlook for the better in this new year. How many of those who attend your night vigils do you know of that can, in fact, help you in any way or form? undecided
First time I agree with u without any reservations(s)
