Pposite sexes can be ral friends but both need to be really disciplined to keep at that level. the truth is it can work if both just have mutual respect for each other and are nor on the same level. i.e if you know that there is nothing in the other party that will ever make you want to go go down with him or her. i have had two good male friends. one at school and the other a friend i met by chance. the one at school had a lot of respect for me and till today still sees me as a sister. the other wanted a relationsgip and i tot i could just be friends with him. we enjoyed each others company in both friendship but with the second it got beyond platonic, something i still regret till today. it isnt easy to keep opposite sex friensship at platonic level because the closser you get the more you want to dspend time together and the more tempted you are especially wwhere you discuss intimate issues. it is quite tempting. so be careful.
