Good evening great friends, please I need help. My engine (Honda pilot) goes off when I break or slow down at pot holes or check points. If it doesn't go off, it seems to have a rough idling at low rmp. I have scanned repeatedly and get error P0108. I have switched between 3 MAP sensors but challenge persists.

What could be the issue? Pls, help

So you think that all the car manufacturers (every single one, incuding INNOSON) that put thermostat in the cars are stupid, abi? You and your kazeems are smarter, abi? Ok, kontinuu. I can't have this thermostat argument again. Your car, your rules.

I'm not arguing. I only presented the issue as is and the solutions proffered. My location is somehow remote and getting certain parts can be very difficult. I'll replace it once I'm able to get a new one to buy.

Removing the thermostat is wrong and this indicates that you haven’t solved the main issue. You need a good mechanic.

Really? So, what could be wrong? I travelled this morning with the car and everything is fine. I still have the thermostat though

I got the car October last year, matched it from Abuja to Imo and this started on Saturday. I don remove thermostat o. Still driving with one eye on dashboard though

I don't think so. The temperature has been within range(not exceeded the midline). I drove Asaba to Imo thru Nnobi/Nnewi with AC and journey was smooth though

Thermostat however has been removed. Fan connected and I think it's better now.

Check your thermostat and radiator fan

Good morning house. I guess my last post wasn't clear. I meant that I did not engage the gear, just wanted to monitor the performance of the engine, AC and fan.

The point is the fan comes on only when AC is on. Once I put off the AC, fan goes off. I spoke with my mech and he said removing the thermostat and small electrical work will fix the issue.

Pls, advice

Good evening. I observed the engine run without engaging the gear and noted that the fan comes on only when the AC is on.

Good evening elders in council. I had earlier posted of my pilot diagnosed of O2 sensor and catalyst below threshold. I tried another mech today and after scanning, error code was p0141. O2 sensor was replaced and no error was detected afterwards.

On getting home after 2 hours drive, I noticed my radiator coolant was very low while the fluid in the other can(I don't know the name) was full.

I have refilled the radiator but should this be a thing of concern?

Please advise

You survival and continuity of your business is YOUR responsibility.

Maintainance pattern should be as usual, service car when due, make use of computer to scan vehicle when there are issues to know what's wrong and be sure you're using a reliable mechanic/parts when it comes to part replacements...
