My mother needed a blood transfusion when she was giving birth to my brother and me. Thankfully, she survived. I am here today because she survived.
But sometimes I allow myself to imagine a different outcome. I imagine my mother dying because she refused a blood transfusion, and then, sometime later—years, months, or even days—people coming along and saying that the decision she made was no longer considered necessary or that things could have been different. I honestly don’t know how my heart would bear that.
And then I think about the people who have actually lived through that reality—the people who buried a mother, a father, a child, a spouse, or someone they loved dearly because they followed what they sincerely believed was “Jehovah’s direction,” only to later discover that medical understanding had changed and that their loved one might have had a greater chance of surviving.
The grief alone would be unbearable. But having to live with the thought that your loved one might still be alive if you had made a different decision? I can’t imagine the weight of that.
Some losses are painful because someone died. Others carry an additional pain—the haunting question of “What if?”
And I honestly cannot imagine having to live with that question for the rest of my life.

I've only had one negative experience sha, others were pretty. This should be like 15yrs ago (during 2go era). Mehn I miss this wonderful town where I served so many years ago. Hospitality is top notch and the fun never ends especially around this time of the year. Burials, weddings ....house warmings .....chaiiii life sweet for omoku

The people are very welcoming sometimes I get scared. Food is cheaper compared to other places I've lived, especially sea food. Light is free and constant, yesterday I had to remove my fuse so my wire would not burn😅
