Crime / Common Misconceptions People Have About Cultism by imiski(m): 6:11pm On Mar 16, 2020
I'm not supporting cultism in any way, but I have repeatedly seen people here on nairaland and other fora express these "myths".
1) They lack self-esteem: I think this one is the most common. Most don't join because of esteem issues rather most join because of the "adventure" it promises. Normally youths are attracted to risky endevours, the adrenaline rush risk creates makes cultism appeal to most.
2) "They are all killers": When the preacher in the bus the other day mentioned this I couldn't help but laugh. I know a cultist who dosn't even like "rough play"(if e see matchet e go loss nor think say person dey with you). There are people whos portfolio is to kill.
3) The ones that sag are dangerous. Be more weary of that quite boy that you see with them sometimes, that greets everbody or is very jovial.
Say no to cultism.

Oga stop being Brainwashed and Read the Headline. Oga read the Headline it's all about his present job. Not when about his saying or when he was a CBN or UBA manager. The money in question is not his money.

Why are you trying to Brainwash your conscience
LOL what I am trying to prove is: The investments he must have made before he became emir is capable of funding a luxurious lifestyle.

6 Big Estate he Bought from which salary. How much was His Salary as a CBN Governor sir
its just an assumption. But to answer your question, there is something called savings, and as an economic principle savings =investments. He is from a wealthy family, it would be easy to get a loan based on family status. Worked as a top executive in the banking sector another easy access to loan. He could also his influence as governor to get himself juicy low interest or free loans. Read: "Richest Man in Babylon" by George Carlson. You would see that even those earning 20k can still be rich over time.

Unless you're telling me has a Secret Businesses that is fetching him Heavy sum. Which automatically means he should be Paying Taxes for those Ventures. Which is another Major offence.

Because of miopic minds like this country cannot move forward

So what the Hell are you talking about
He may have like 6 big estates in his name, he could buy have shares in some companies you don't have to own an office before you can be very rich. Read abou Robert Kiyosaki the author of rich dad, he dos'nt own a company.

BafanaBafana:

You have a very small mind seriously for you to be thinking that the only source of income a seasoned economist, who headed one of the leading commercial banks and the apex bank in a country is his salary.
Besides owning a company, one can not be wealthy?
don't argue with that one. He has not heard of real estate, he has not heard of Nigerian stock exchange and other investment portfolios. They think until you have company before you can be a rich man.
