Religion / I Know!!! by Immaangel(f): 6:37pm On Jul 26, 2015
Jehovah Tailoreee...TheLord that fixes me!
On Saturday I urgently needed to fix my suit trouser as I needed to appear LIKE a WoMan of God where I was to speak that day. I took the cloth to my tailor and asked him to fix the LITTLE opening near the pocket.
The guy turned the cloth inside out and then began to TEAR the pocket with his hands... Hah! I was like, "I said you should sew, not tear"...
So I shouted, 'You are tearing my cloth o'
But he replied "I KNOW".
Those two words sank into me like a heavy stone sinks in water. I couldn't talk again...
He's the tailor, and I'm just a customer. Even though I couldn't relate tearing with sewing but the Tailor says "I KNOW".
Child of God I bring you good tidings today... God is saying, 'I KNOW'...
I hear your complaints and I also hear His reply.
Father, My fiancee just left me... I know
I have no man to pay my fees... I know
I was rejected at the embassy again... I know
So many times when the Lord is fixing us, He starts by 'tearing' us. Tearing our confidence in ourselves, Tearing all our philosophies, Tearing our pride and fake humility, Tearing the things we call dear and giving us the truly dear things.
The only thing necessary is wisdom... Wisdom to know when it is the Lord and When it isn't the Lord... The devil tears to kill God tears to Fix. God tears the old to give you the new.
God's teary fire only refines His own. God's teary approaches only yields the peaceable fruit of Righteousness.
So in reality, God tears no man... He only makes...
We call it tearing, He calls it Making. We call it breaking... He calls it building. He knows you have need even before you ask... That's why when we complain... He responds thus: I KNOW
Jeremiah 29:11 For I KNOW the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Trust God...
My cloth came out better. You are coming out better too.
(Share, if it blessed you)

Career / After Government Retirement, What Next???? by Immaangel(f): 1:37pm On Jul 26, 2015
Its so quite unfortunate that most of us our parents have retired from the service. My mum retired after 35years of serving this nation, now my question is this: after retirement, what next?
Some of us our parents are still strong to do some works. judging from the delayed payment of pensions and gratuity, how do the government expect them to eat and take care of their family?? Hmmm... Smh... Pls drop your suggestions of what our retired parents could start doing just to make ends meet in a typical nigerian environment.

Politics / Revealed:the Number Of People Killed By Boko Haram Since Buhari Became President by Immaangel(f): 5:55pm On Jul 06, 2015
Since the inauguration of President Muhammudu Buhari on May 29, over 500 people including soldiers have been killed by Boko Haram forces either through bombings, beheading or shootings.
The Jos resturant bombing this morning has taken the official death toll to 505 people but such numbers cannot be totally relied upon which makes speculations that over 500 people killed by the insurgents more attainable.
On Sunday, a bomb explosion at a Redeemed Christian Church of God in Potiskum Town, Yobe State by a male suicide bomber killed six persons.
Police Public Relations Officer in Yobe, Toyin Gbadegesin, said the attack happened during a church service confirming the deaths of six people and the suicide bomber.
This was the second attack on Pokistum since May 29, soon after the June 15 attack by suicide bombers which killed 10 persons and injuring several others.
President Buhari during his inauguration speech promised to move the military centre from Abuja to Maiduguri to move closer to the terrorists.
The Military Command was later moved which the president strengthened the multilateral military alliance between Nigeria and neighbouring states of Cameroun, Niger, Chad and the support of G-7 industrialised countries.
A day after Buhari’s inauguration, a suicide bomber killed at least 16 people in a Maiduguri mosque during the afternoon prayer.
On the same day, the insurgents fired rocket propelled grenades into Dala Lawanti, west of Maiduguri killing 13 people.
On June 2, the insurgents left an improvised explosive device (IED) on a butcher’s table and the explosion killed about 30 people at a busy meat market in Maiduguri. The terrorists continued their evil works on June 3 when an IED, was detonated at a military check-point in Baga, Borno State, killing four people.
On June 4, another suicide bomber blew Jimeta main market in Yola, Adamawa State. At least 50 were said to have dieed.
Unfazed, the insurgents hit a popular “cow market” in Maiduguri, killing an unspecified number of people.
On June 11, three female suicide bombers, desperate to carry out attacks in Bauchi died by the device of their own hands. The Explosives strapped to their bodies exploded prematurely on the road before reaching their targets.
In a follow up, the insurgents coordinated multiple blasts that killed about 11 people at Potiskum in Yobe State (second hit) on June 115. The victims were mostly police officers and members of the local vigilante group, who were trying to stop a man with an attached IED and heading for the Potiskum market.
June 17 was the next date the insurgents hit as an accidental explosion killed 15 persons in Monguno.
Unfazed the insurgents hit a fish market on June 22. At least 30 people were killed when two female suicide bombers disguised as beggars exploded in the market.
Targeting another market, Boko Haram hit Wagir in Gubja Local Government of Yobe State on June 23, killing about 15 people.
40 people were killed when the group raided different Borno villages on June 24.
Three days later on June 27, three insurgents on tricycles hit the Molai General Hospital in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital detonated killing 3 security guards at the gate, as well as 2 of the suicide bombers as they were denied entry to the building.
On June 30, the insurgents killed 48 people in Mussaram I and Mussaram II near Monguno, while Muslim were worshipping in various mosques observing the Magrib prayers shortly after breaking their fast. The insurgents reportedly burnt most of the bodies after the killings.
The insurgents struck multiple times during the Holy Month of Ramadam.
On July 1st, the terrorists’ killed 98 persons in Kukawa village. The insurgents reportedly surrounded the village and started shooting sporadically when Muslims were about to break their fast for the day.
On July 2, the insurgents committed religious sacrilege again when they killed 11 persons at Malari Village along Bama/ Konduga Highway as two female suicide bombers, in two separate attacks, struck at Malari village and Allau Dam road along Bama/Konduga Highway, Borno State.
In a follow up attack the next day, the insurgents killed 54 killed in Mussa Village, Askira-Uba LG including a former council Chairman. The terrorists were said to have been running away from Nigerian troops before coming to the village and descended on the commune.
President Buhari has repeatedly voiced his intentions to crush the Boko Haram insurgents terrorizing the Northern part of the country.
The president has embarked on numerous trips to neighbouring country to discuss with head of states on strategies on how to tackle the insurgents.
Buhari also spoke to the international community during the G-8 summit in May on the need for assistance from developed countries to show their support for the fight against the insurgents.

Health / FMC Owerri House Unions Disagree With Medical Director by Immaangel(f): 7:35am On Jul 01, 2015
Striking workers of the Federal Medical Centre Owerri have reacted to the interview with the Medical Director, Dr. Mrs. Angela Uwakwem, as published in The Leader of Sunday June 21, 2015.
The three unions of the Federal Medical Centre which include, Nigeria Union of Allied Health Professionals (NUAP), Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) and National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNW), were critical about her views concerning every aspect of her story which tried to portray her innocence and gain public sympathy.
The Unions claimed that the Public Private Partnership she re-invokes as the major grouse of the agitating workers did not follow due process and standard procedure prior to its introduction.
According to them, the Board nullified the PPP contraption in FMC Owerri on 15th May 2015 because the timing was wrong and inappropriate.
The Unions posited that the Pharmacy Department has long been computerized via a world certified software package based in USA for drug labelling, error detection, drug interaction and adverse drug reactions elimination. They alleged that the Pharmacy department and Laboratory services, which she planned for “privatization generate 62% of the internally generated revenue every year.”
They further claimed that the ”adverts for bidding is never advertised in any national daily thus denying the Union and stake holders the identities of companies or establishment handling projects.”
The Unions also said that, ”No order for any drug purchase is made without the approval of the MD even when the head of department of pharmacy has powers to that effect, adding that the hospital doesn’t buy drugs with cash rather it buys in credit and pays when able.
‘’The Pharmacy and laboratory departments perform beyond excellence, and their services have always been lauded,” the striking workers noted.
The Pharmacy department purchased drugs in a quarter system (Every 4 months) and the department has never stocked drugs worth over 30 million naira.
The House Unions, said their members are high profile intellectuals and very principled people and so nobody could have incited them to embark on the ongoing strike.
”If Federal Ministry of Health has not released the 2013 promotion arrears, how come six hospitals have gotten theirs, even when FMC Owerri, the only A plus FMC in Nigeria, is yet to be paid? If the hospital has over N242 million in her personnel account last year what now prevented her from paying the said arrears?”
They claimed that the money she used for the purchase of CT scan was the personnel’s money which she should have used for payment of the arrears, saying that Financial regulations made it clear that personnel money cannot be used or transferred for capital projects.
“FMC workers want true justice and the step to true justice has been recommended by the Board of Management of FMC Owerri, which represents the Federal Government. The question now is what is preventing the Federal Ministry of Health from implementing the decision of the Board of FMC?”
