Nobody is condemning the couple, just that the DL GS should practice what he's preaching. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. How do you expect the other members that were punished for the way their children felt like dressing on their wedding day feel, just like these ones. Were they punished, limited in the church activities of even ridiculed? Please let all concerned resign NOW. 1 Like |

What we need in Nigeria is to have FIVE parties which should be entrenched in our constitution. The benefit includes: 1. Cross carpeting will be greatly reduced if not totally eradicated. 2. Disgruntled members will be forced to reconcile within the party as leaving may completely edge him out of frontline politics or make him start afresh in another party. 3. Over time political structures and culture will emerge and stable since no one can just set up his/her own party as we have it now. 4. Do or die politics will die. 5. Respect for Constitutional provisions will increase. 6. Party democracy will be strengthened. I know the major antagonizing posture to this postulation would be that it is against freedom of association, but we must know that freedom cannot be endless, hence my choice of Five party system which will allow ample variety rather than two party system. My people, this will engender healthy competition and allow the electorates (both educated and non educated)to make informed and accurate choices at every election and democratic process. What's your view? |

Why Boko Haram bomb innocent Nigerians for no reasonable cause= Jonathan set up amnesty committe= Boko Haram reject anesty,s aid its Jonathan that needs one from them=Jonathan declare SOE=soldiers invade bok haram spots=Boko Haram fires back Kill 3 soldiers, shot at Air Force Plane= soldiers capture some Boko Haram=SOE still on going= and Jonathan orders release of captures Boko Haram?=he is realy confused God help Nigeria, every Nigerian is just on their own, in the Jungle, survival of the fithest, you die, you die no goverment cares for you. it is pathetic------------- |

PHIPEX: A part of me tries to see this as a shocker that shouldn't happen but I am tempted to go with the presidency in this (if it's true). What am not too sure of is if this is coming too early. let's remember that SOE is a means to an end and not the end itself. While it's easy to get sentimental and wish all Boko Haram members dead, I think this is a good strategy where the two doors are open; dialogue and military force, it's left for each member to choose where he wishes to belong. Moreso, considering the North-South divide in this country, it could be another opportunity to prove the gainsayers wrong who think the South has gone to war againt the north. Our ultimate target is not just a temporary peace in this country but peace that will last and to me this isn't a too hard price to pay for it. Military force alone hasn't ended violence in Iraq and Afghanistan, infact our Niger-Delta is more peaceful than both countries today. This statement can only apply to Biafra and Niger Delta not Boko Haram |

Great achievement, even greater for her to have kept her home and family. This many women of today often sacrifice for their career. |
Politics / Insurgency/Boko Haram Is Borne Out Of Systemic Corruption In Nigeria by Immortality(m): 5:01pm On May 17, 2013 |
Inadequacy in a nation/society engenders struggle, added with corruption results into crisis. This is the Nigerian situation. Would you agree with me? |

All these people are attention seekers, i just wonder the relevance of all these aguements when both of them had there chances to make difference, yet non of them actually did. It is not enough for Soludo to do well in the Banking sector (consolidation) or El-Rufai as FCT Administrator but what impact did they have on the global issues bedeviling our nation. ALL OF THEM, THE LEADERS HAVE FAILED |
