A job I was needed to execute only during electioneering era; that is, I and my gang get employed seasonally, every four years precisely. My name is GEORGE A. N. GEORGE. I am from Yenagoa in Bayelsa State of Nigeria. I am a graduate of PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (Class of 2007), from NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY, AWKA, ANAMBRA STATE, NIGERIA. I have so many relatives, friends and school mates. Below is the story of that part of my life you never knew. Please read and learn from it as a Nigerian Youth. It was about 1:15am that night when my phone rang while we were on standby in one exotic hotel in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State (hotel name withheld) where all the rooms were paid down for us, including food and drinks. My phone screen displayed a withheld identity and I knew it was THE BOSS, because that was his usual way. He doesn’t ever disclose his phone number or his where about. ON THE PHONE: Me: The boss sir! Boss: Everything OK? Me: Yes sir. Boss: How many soldiers have you? Me: Three, sir. Boss: Too damn few for this operation. Your subject is a well-protected person. Make it five and do that immediately. Me: Consider it done sir. Boss: Better! Now open the gate and receive your supplies in Fourty minutes time. Remember, it must be convincingly an armed robbery. You must confirm him dead before you leave. Under no circumstance should he either survive or escape it. If you flunk this operation, you will not live to regret it. IS THAT CLEAR? Me: Yes sir. Boss: Good luck and get your balance after I read his obituary. Me: Yes sir. Exactly Fourty minutes later, two brand new Giant V8 Toyota SUV Prado Jeeps drove in and parked inside the hotel. The driver of the first one came out and handed the keys into me without uttering a single word. He immediately joined the other Jeep and they left. The content of the Jeep: There was a cash sum of Twelve million naira, seven complete set of military uniforms with ranks, including ID cards, all fake. There were different kinds of high calibre military sophisticated weapons (arms and ammunition). While we were confirming the supply, the two other additional soldiers I contacted (Kiwy and Chester) arrived. My boys locked the gate and took everything inside. In that operation as led by me, were: GEORJAY (my very self as my friends call me), DALLAZ, SPARKY, KIWY & CHESTER. The next night was the operation proper. We left the hotel in Yenagoa at 11:50pm for our victim’s residence in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Our subject was a major Political Gladiator and was also from Bayelsa State. The Boss wanted the operation to take place at the victim’s private residence in Port Harcourt, as that will guarantee a suspicion free one. It was indeed a smooth drive in that tinted screen and blinded number plate Jeep, as we were all military men in appearance. The lowest rank among us was that of a Sergeant. Mine as the leader was that of a Captain. Beating checkpoints...Read More... |

Lol Rochas is pleading now! |
Governor Rochas Okorocha of imo State has appealed to the National working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, led by Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, to submit the name of his son in-law, Mr, Uche Nwosu, to the Independent National Electoral Commission as the winner of the APC governorship primaries in the state. Okorocha made the appeal in a press release obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria. Okorocha said upholding Nwosu’s candidacy will “protect the high integrity of President Muhammadu Buhari and the integrity of the Party.” He added that Nwosu remains the “only hope” for the state, adding that the candidates of other parties would spell doom for the state. “For some time now, I have been in Abuja fighting...Read More... |
Dammy, let not your hrt be troubled, we are with you just that we love wizkid All you need to know about Dammy Krane |
For popular singer, Dammy Krane, it is a season of forgiveness as he explained in a chat with Saturday Beat that he had forgiven most people that offended him. In the early stage of the careers of Dammy Krane and Wizkid, they were buddies, but that ended in 2016 after the duo reportedly exchanged blows in the popular Lagos club, Quilox. It was reported that the fight ensued because Dammy Krane alleged that Wizkid stole the song, Baba Nla, from him after paying him a visit at home. Since then, both artistes have not been seen in public together until this year when they were pictured together. In a chat with Saturday Beat, Dammy Krane spoke about how he reconciled with his old pal. He said, “Wizkid and I went to an event and from there we went out together. It was from there that we...Read More... |

10_Signs_that_a_Girl_likes_you There are some common signs that she likes you. When you’re flirting with a woman, it can sometimes be hard to know if it’s mutual, or if she’s just being kind. Happily, for those in the know, there are some common signs that she likes you. From lingering touches to teasing talk, we’ve rounded up 10 of the biggest signs that she’s into you too. 1. Laughing at your Jokes: When she dances or giggle a little bit more than your Jokes. When a girl likes you, any funny body Language from you makes you a comedian. if a woman is laughing at your jokes (even the bad ones), it could be a sign she’s into you. 2. Girls Enjoy Using violence to Show their affection: If she is always attacking you and smiling at you she is showing you how much she loves you… 3. She teases you and she playfully makes fun of you:It may seem like a tactic straight from the elementary-school playground, but it’s not just kids who use playful teasing to demonstrate that they like someone. The theory goes that teasing is a low-risk way to escalate the intimacy of a conversation, as it allows two people to get into personal territory while still keeping things on the lighter side. So, take note: if a woman is ribbing you about your hockey team, or tickling you, chances are she likes you. 4. Getting Jealous: A girl may become Jealous if she sees a guy she likes giving attention to another girl 5. You often see that she’s typing (then deleting) a message: Do her fun, light-hearted messages take an unusually long time to write? Most iPhone users know the score. You’re messaging back and forth with someone and, every time, three dots appear and disappear before their message finally arrives. Other messaging services might instead display a note that the sender is typing, but the principle is the same: if she’s taking an awfully long time to compose cute little messages, it’s very probably because she wants them to be perfect. And that’s a great sign she likes you. 6. She’s open to the idea of a first date: Does she say yes immediately when you suggest going out together? The above signals are great as a general indictor that a woman is into you. However, it’s also vital to remember that all women are different and that therefore, there can’t ever be a 100% definitive list of signs she likes you. To really know the truth, you have to bite the bullet and straight-up ask her out. If she says yes happily and speedily then it’s a great sign your feelings are reciprocated. Congratulations – and happy dating! Read More |
I am still in doubt if this man is truly Igbo ![]() but in all he made a point, Igbos should always appreciate what they have |
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has condemned what he described as the “pull-him-down-syndrome” among the Igbo, saying it is the only likely problem he will have if he chooses to run for the presidency. The governor expressed regrets that the Igbo do not honor their own, including their leaders, “unlike what obtains in other parts of the country.” He added that Igbo alone cannot make or produce a president of Igbo extraction, adding that Igbo need other Nigerians to be able to have a president of Igbo origin who would also see himself as a Nigerian, first and foremost. Okorocha spoke while fielding questions from newsmen on Sunday after a press briefing at the Government House, Owerri. He stated that it would be a foolish thought for any Igbo man eyeing the presidency at any time to think that the Igbo only would make him president. He, however, contended that any Igbo man wanting or aspiring to achieve the feat of being the president one day cannot rely on the Igbo alone. He said, “The Igbo do not know how to honor their own. They rather like to run down any of their rising leaders. The pull-him-down syndrome is high in Igbo land. And it is very unfortunate. Anytime I come out to run for the presidency of this country, I will not suffer pull-him-down from the North or from the South West or South-South, it is only in Igbo land that I will suffer it. “And they engage in...Read More... |
