obaidan:

It depends on what exactly you are trying to study. See these days, even the IT industry is slowly becoming uneasy to break into for new comers. People with green card and US passports are taking up multiple jobs now doing 2 to 3 jobs remotely. Employers also do not want to go through the stress of filing for people when there are numerous skilled people applying for the same job and they do not have to file for those ones. For better chances of staying back, u are better off studying health related course(nursing in particular) or IT. And for IT you will be better off mastering a skill, not just having the degree. Also know that the 3 years postgraduate IT work permit you get after graduation is 1 year + an extension of 2 years which is conditioned on you fulfilling some funny conditions for the the first 1 year. Conditions like getting a job(related to your field) not later than 90 days after your permit is approved( know that u also have 60 days to stay in the US after graduation without a work permit). Another condition is that during that one year period, you can't stay jobless for more than 3 months cummulatively. All these conditions may be d reason u will still see lots of people with good jobs n degree still opting for the marriage route.

And yes phD gives you sufficient time to plan your next move, also helps you build your profile so you can explore applying for green card via a route called NIW/EB2. If you decide for phD, try to write n publish at least one paper.

But like others have adviced you, you are actually better off sharpening your interaction skills with women, learning to open up and be receptive to women of different culture because marriage is the surest. The earlier you get your green card the better, because it's after you get your green card you can start living your American dreams properly. You begin to use government and financial services support to conquer and expand.

Wow... Thank you so much for the information above. This is very insightful.

I am already in the IT space.

I am a Data Scientist and also an AI Specialist.

I am not too sure about how easy it is to land a job into the AI space in the US within 60 days after completing a PhD program in AI .

I was actually considering getting married in Nigeria before I Japa but with this information from you, I have just changed my mind.

I will have to delay that immediate gratification .

I am now beginning to see the long term benefits of getting married to a US Citizen. Most especially African American women.

All eyes on the American Green Card .

Securing my future and that of my future generations is the goal.

May God help me as I embark on this transformative journey.

even guys with good careers that went to USA for MBA. They have all married African Americans or about to marry one after graduation. 🤣
Learning Truck driving in Nigeria is a waste of time as its not even recognized , our standards here are not up to theirs and you have no actual work experience too.

What about going for a PhD program through a fully funded scholarship in the US with a student VISA.

Is there any hope of any chance of staying back to live and work in the US after finishing my PhD program for some time before applying for a PR ?

Total blackmail?
British empire?
BBC is on a mission to destroy Africa?

You are doing a yeoman's job with this attempt to launder the image of a depraved shaman.
His brand of evangelism did not even have the blessing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) - and yet you talk about a mission to destroy Africa? That's evidence of a puerile thought process right there.

Lolz....I just can't stop laughing here.

Are you aware that CAN is nothing but a cult group .

And that is why they hate Senior Prophet T.B Joshua because he refused to join them in their evil business.

First of all, ...Who are the leadership of CAN ?

They are high profile criminals masquerading themselves as daddy G.O s .

A one time President of CAN oritsejafor was caught in South Africa with a Private Jet loaded with dollars (stolen funds from Nigeria ) during President Goodluck Jonathan's regime.

And when he was being interrogated by the South African Authorities ,he said he came to purchase Military arms for the Nigerian Army .... hahahaha.....can you imagine that.

A CAN president (A so-called civilian clergy man) involved in money laundering.....
My brother, forget about CAN ...They are nothing but thieves.

LOVE/MARRIAGE TIPS FOR MEN

1.Your schooling/NYSC days love is your true love, try to keep her.
2.If you finally decide to get married, marry your schooling/NYSC days love, as first option
3,.If you had lost contact from your schooling/NYSC days love, for one reason or the other, Search for her, if you find her, still single, marry her!

Romance / Re: Have I Been Meeting The Wrong Ladies Or Is It A Nigerian Thing by Impactever(m): 12:00pm On Dec 08, 2023
CaveAdullam:
All (Nigerian) men have experienced this phenomenon. Except those that are strictly introverted or haven't requested a date.

There are plenty of factors underlying the unresponsiveness of women. Factors can emanate from you or them.

1. Women are more open and emotional to men closer to them. Proximity is how you get the better side of women + become aware of their dark sides.

Before a woman can travel from point A to point B to see you through a long distance you must have first created that emotional attachment.

But why do women travel long distances to meet strangers?

This is based on economies. They do it because of money. A prostitute can't become emotionally attached to her client. If there exists any, it is a facade. By the way, prostitutes have men they love genuinely + freely fvck them.

The evolutionary background: women by nature are weak. They need strong men to provide for them and protect them. A stranger can't be trustworthy. Only men in their community will they submit to because they've known over time.

Sex to women is more of security than pleasure. Sex for men is more of pleasures and ego - the boast of a harem.

So prostitutes are because of the money. Because if there is an availability of men to pay their bills and fulfill all their sincere and nonsensical fantasies, prostitution will be non-existent.

Therefore, in rich and developed nations, women engaged in romance for the sake of romance, love, and emotional attachment.
While in poor and underdeveloped nations women leverage romance to upgrade their socio-economic status and creep out of poverty and deprivation.

2. She might be in a relationship.

3. She's in a tarrying bad mood. And can't willingly share with you because you are a stranger. With time she may. But as a man, you'll become impatient because by nature you're not programmed to wait and beg for sex. You just want to hit and move to the next.

4. She doesn't like you. Every woman has a man they like or fantasize about. If you are not up to that standard they will ignore you.

5. Appearance. Your looks may not be ranked as acceptable. Using that metric, they set you aside and wouldn't want you to bother them.

6. Absence of flamboyance at first meet.

Women are emotional. So they can easily be cajoled by the presence of flashiness. This again is due to their desire for security. That's why celebrities can score many women + have multiple baby mamas at will.

If you don't express or show flamboyance women won't take you seriously.

Only well-trained women who are self-conscious and disciplined follow a man due to his ambitions, character, and intelligence. These women are the outliers.

7. It's a mind game. Women don't want to appear cheap. So they'll play the delayed and boring game till they know if you are genuine or not. They don't want to feel cheap.

8. Other men are on the radar. Some of these men are 10 times better than you. Some of these men you are 10 times better than.

This trooping of men of all ages and categories is the pleasure of all women. Some of the men are making bidding you can't or haven't. They fill her with hopes and promises. Her DM and privacy are a cluster of men persuading her into a romantic relationship.

Don't expect her to leave them for you easily. You are not the first. And more are behind you.

9. They want a long stream of persuasions and promises before they accept your proposal. Until you do this they will continue to remain boring.

From the above factors, the only one you have control over is your appearance. So, before you step out look good, smell nice, and talk well. Be happy and jovial. Be humorous and social. Whether they accept or reject you becomes none of your business. Just do your part.

Getting women is a game of numbers. The more you step out and interact, the more women you'll encounter and get hooked by a number of them.

Meanwhile, as a man, you must go for a woman who likes you genuinely. These women you don't need to cajole or convince. They just like you + want to be in love with you. They will make you wish and pray for an eternal romantic relationship.

Have you seen secondary and university lovers? That's what I'm talking about. Genuine love.

Thanks.

You deserve a bottle of wine....you captured this excellently.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their contributions. I visited the Alausa Passport office for my passport renewal today and would like to share my experience.

Upon arrival, I was directed to the servicom hall for the DIY team, where a helpful staff (lady) reviewed my documents.

She instructed me to obtain a brown file, rewrite my renewal application on A4 paper, and make a photocopy of the last page of my passport (not just the data page). After swiftly completing these tasks, she cross-checked my documents, added my two recent passport photos, and handed me the file to take to room 12.

In room 12, a meticulous lady thoroughly examined my application letter, verifying details such as the passport number, expiry date, and my signature within the letter. She then signed and dated it.

Returning to the previous staff member, she double-checked the work from room 12 and made some notations on my file. I was then directed to another area for passport capturing, a process that took less than 30 minutes.

The entire experience was remarkably efficient, taking less than an hour in total.

Documents required for renewal:

- Brown file (available for ₦500 on-site)
- Copy of the online passport application form
- Copy of the payment receipt
- Copy of the acknowledgement slip
- The passport you wish to renew
- Copy of both the data page and the last page of the expired passport
- Two recent color passport photographs
- Copy of your NIN slip
- Application letter written on A4 paper.

Regards.

How much did you pay at Aluasa, Ikeja Office for the Renewal of your international passport 32 pages ....or 64 pages as the case may be ?

2. PTDF will organise your flight but will give you stipends directly. Dont focus on all these. Try to put your energy on your scholarship application and interview.

You must obtain admission by yourself.

Pls i would to know how PTDF disburses their scholarship fund to their scholarship beneficiaries (overseas category)
for example, if i am a successful beneficiary at the end............and let's say my Tuition fee in the UK is 30,000 British Pound Sterling,

1. my question is will PTDF send the 30k British Pound Sterling directly to my UK school OR will PTDF send the 30k British Pound Sterling directly to my personal UK bank account , then i can then pay my tuition fee by myself

2. Does PTDF pays a flat rate as Tuition fees, flight fee to all beneficiary irrespective of country of study and course of study ?

In addition, has developed another starategy , he now adds his fellow gang of scammers in the same whatsapp group where he teaches Arbitrage .....those his scam gang would pretend to be ordinary whatsapp group members ...After he is done delivering the arbitrage training , his scam gang in the same whatsapp group would be the first set of people send money to him for funding of their paypal account .....

He funds it for them instantly and post the screenshots on the whatsapp group so that the unsuspecting group members ( his potential victims) would gain his trust and also send him money to fund their own paypal account...once you send any money to him ...forget it ...the money is gone .....he will no longer reply your message nor pick your calls. .....He is forever cursed from the root .....and he shall never know peace till he dies miserably ....

I wish i first did a search on Nairaland onhis numbe before doing transaction with him, i wouldn't have lost my #30,000 to him.

This is the new Bank account details he uses ...Pls I am warning members of the public . do not send any money to this account below ...it is owned by the bastard scammer .

Good day can you kindly take down that picture as it belongs to me.
I was also directed to his arbitrage group via Nairaland . I later got a tip off from an old member on the group saying he’s a scammer but I never expected it’ll get to this stage of using my picture
Thank you
