That is because when you receive money through domiciliary accounts, it is not seen as remittance. That is bank to bank transactions

International money transfer organization is all about remittance and the cbn naira to dollars promo is for only remittance

You are the only person here who have given a better and more comprehensive explanation with respect to the term" remittance" of the CBN Dollar-for-Naira policy.....

I also wish to ask, can payment from international online betting sites (e.g Bet365 that pays in Dollars, Euro and pound) be regarded as remittance

Thanks in anticipation of your answer,...

Politics / 15 Shocking Fact/revelation About The 2nd Niger Bridge (nigeria) by Impactever(m): 10:27am On Oct 05, 2020
Doyin Okupe, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has made what he called 15 revelations about the Second Niger Bridge.

In a message he entitled “GEJ, Buhari & The People,” Okupe wrote:

[1] The Bridge is NOT Being Constructed by the FGN.

[2] It’s a PPP Project which the FGN contributes a tiny fraction.

[3] The 2nd Niger Bridge Will Cost about N117 billion.

[4] Started in 2013 and should have been completed in 2017, but worked stopped for 31 months. Completion date Not certain now.

[5] FGN share of the Cost is N30billion. Jonathan through the Sure-P paid N21.2billion (71%) including N7billion for the completion of preparatory work (Phase 1).

[6] 38% of the work has been done as at Jan 2015.

[7] The N140b Oshiomhole said was wasted on Admin cost on the bridge was a lie, as admin cost can not be higher than the cost of the whole project.

[8] Buhari’s Govt Paid *N2billion* NOT $2billion as Osinbajo said during the Anambra State election. They will be paying another N3.05b when the budget is approved.

[9] Work has restarted in earnest at the site and about 5%-7% has been completed bringing the total completed work to about 43% to 45% according to an engineer I spoke to.

[10] All the pictures flying all over the internet are pictures of work-in-progress made during the 1st quarter of 2015.

[11] In summary, Jonathan govt paid 71% of FGN share of the cost, while Buhari’s govt has paid 6.1%.

[12] Julius Berger, the Major Contractor and Construction company will put Toll Gate on Completion of the Bridge to recover their cost.

[13] The Construction Company is Funding the Project and the People using the Bridge will bear the cost via Toll Charges.

[14] The real People building the Bridge are Nigerians that will use the Bridge, as they will REPAY the cost to Julius Berger.

[15] For those celebrating politicians and sharing old or fake pictures of 2nd Niger Bridge, the #Facts are Not on your side.

All this talk is nothing of u don't have modern seeds

Have we developed seeds that is high yielding and suited to our different climate ?

A farmer in Nigeria gets 2 ton of corn per hectare while a farmer in USA gets 12

A farmer in Nigeria is lucky to get 2 tons of rice let hectare ...in Thailand is 10 ...we plant once they plant 3 times ....30 tons vs 2 tons from same size of farm

Soya u are lucky if u get 0.5 tons ...in USA u can get 3.4 tons

That's the Coco. ..improve the seeds and watch igbos enter agro .....

Nigerian farming is not profitable ...the only profitable farming now is animal farming

My brother, you have said it all. ....I Strongly agree with you completely.

Developing a Hybrid seeds with a higher yield, that is very suitable for our unique diverse climate is the major key to unlocking huge profits in Agriculture.

That is one of the major steps the US, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and other major World Agric Giant has taken that has brought about the great prosperity in their Agric sector.

GLeesMODEL:
*Kevin Chukwumobi@50: Meet the Nigerian man who turned billionaire carrying Corpses*

The calling of a person by a wooden gong is dependent on the feats he has attained in life.

Born into the family of Chief Ben Chukwumobi Ifediba (Omeokachie) & Lolo Elizabeth Amuche Ifediba from Umunuko Ukpor in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State in the year of the Lord 1970, the young Kevin attended Umuwaya Road Primary School, Umuahia. He proceeded to Immaculate Conception Seminary, Ahiaeke, Umuahia for his secondary school education. On completion of his secondary school, he secured an admission to study Mass Communication at Federal Polytechnic, Okoh, Anambra State where he obtained HND in Mass Communication.

Sir Kevin thereafter forayed into pharmaceuticals and coined the name of his business APAMS, which stands for Amuche Pharmaceuticals and Medical Services, a name that eventually became a national brand.

A visit to Dons Funeral Home, in the United States of America would revolutionize his passion for the funeral business and propelled his vision. Offering innovative services in the funeral industry became his compelling desire. Like every great venture, APAMS had its own teething problems and challenges. Sir Kevin had daunting challenges getting his staff to share in his vision of honouring the dead. Again, because of the nature of the business, he had a problem of perception. But with laser focus and unparalleled determination, he was able to overcome all that and emerged a trailblazer in the industry.

With only one panel beaten vehicle at inception, APAMS has grown in leaps and bounds, offering exotic funeral services with not just state of the art automobiles but with chariots and helicopters as well, while giving the dead a grand entry into the world beyond. Sir Kevin was right when he stated in an interview that he had no competition. APAMS simply defines the industry while others play catch up.

The company's profile of services executed reads like a litany of big names. The company has handled the burials of several creme of the society.

APAMS has become a one stop shop funeral home, offering twenty six different funeral services, ranging from the sales of high end caskets to even repatriation of corpses from anywhere in the world etc. The company that started with one man has grown with over 280 staff strength and 450 contract staff..

Sir Kevin is a staunch believer in human development. He has made it a cardinal principle to develop himself and this is shown through the numerous funeral services seminars, programmes and business development courses he has attended abroad. The results show in the unmatched successes his company records and the innovations he introduces in the business.

Sir Kevin believes in humanitarian causes and this is evident in his philanthropic gestures. His clientele are not just the high and mighty. Occasionally, he offers funeral services for free for the indigent. Furthermore, he has deepened his services to humanity through his membership of several organizations like Catholic Men's Organization CMO, Nnewi and Onitsha branch, Knight of St John International (KSJI), Ukpor Improvement Union etc.

He is also the Founder/Chairman of Anambra State Ambulance Owners/Funerals Association, People's Club of Nigeria and other several other clubs.

Because of his commitment to the causes of these reputable bodies, he has received numerous awards and special recognitions from several other organizations.

Sir Kevin Chukwumobi is happily married with children

Good to hear. Don't mind the gang that call them themselves father of Nigerian democracy but cannot accept and concede in a free and fair election.

What matters to Ize Iyamu and his gang is to force Obaseki to go and spend Edo money in the court. Money that is meant for development will be spent on lawyers and judges. Where then is their love for Edo state.

Oshiomole to me do not understand democracy at all. If not why would you allow direct primaries in some states and indirect in other states?

Again my fear in all these is that if I remember how I celebrated Oshiomole annihilating Tony Anenih and Ogbinedion gang, it makes me become afraid that Obaseki could be another god father to worry about in the near future.

I completely agree with you .......Obaseki could install himself as another Godfather in the future. ....A case study is the Rochas vs Ohakim in the 2011 Imo State Guber Election

Business / Re: Complete Digital Marketing Training Online by Impactever(m): 4:43pm On Sep 14, 2020
IdeasPro:
Hello All Nairalnders,
Happy weekend and how’s the day?
In all humility, I want to introduce myself as a digital marketing expert and I’ve been online for some years now. I love working from home as a self employed entrepreneur without a boss ordering me around. Some time ago I stumbled on one of the most popular Nairaland’s thread on how to make money online which focuses on domain flipping business.
I’ve been doing underground domain investing and website investing as well for years even before the above thread was created. My initial intention was to observe what is trending in the virtual real estate business from Nigeria online entrepreneurs’ perspective on that thread, read other members’ contributions and learn too.
In short, learning is one of my hobbies and it has helped me tremendously in my professional career and business! Ultimately, I fell in love with the domain flipping thread and I started writing and posting my own contributions where and when necessary to it while relaxing myself.
Some members saw and read my modest contributions and suggested that I should open a separate thread on this forum to discuss and focus on digital marketing generally because they perceived as an all-round internet marketer.
I was humbled but reluctant at first about it because it will definitely eat into my productive time or man hours. As an accountant and business doer myself, I prefer investing my time on viable business ideas instead of teaching.
But by popular request, I’ve to give in to this free digital marketing course so that it will not become ungodly of me to help fellow Nigerians. I don’t assume to know everything. Not at all! We all have to contribute to this online marketing training thread in order to make it a robust knowledge base and a success. Let us make this thread the go-to place for internet marketing training for Nigerians and for anyone who wants to learn digital marketing online free.
We need to empower our youths with requisite digital marketing skills so that they can frown and scorn 419, con artistry, fraud, scams and so on. If our youths can start an online business and make $1,000 a month online legitimately, I believe they will want to do away with scams except that person is congenitally greedy and to a fault.
From this online business training, I’ll go through the whole gamut of digital marketing, one step at a time. I’ll respond to questions and every other knowledgeable member who has legit answers can also contribute. We’re not going to entertain fraudulent tactics (black hat methods) of earning money online. NO, No, No!
And the best of it all is that it is totally free digital marketing training for Nigerians and any other person from the world over who has found this thread on the web. But I want the ideas shared here to have “local content and relevance” because it is hard for some Nigerians who don’t know how to earn money online.
I’ll be looking at different online business opportunities and models that will put real money in your wallet such as affiliate marketing business, writing and selling ebooks online from your own website or third party websites like Amazon.com, domain investing, website investing, app development, blogging for money, how to make money with Google Adsense, freelance business, information marketing business, just to mention a few.
I may not discuss anything that has to do with paid surveys online, paid to read emails, etc because these are not sustainable internet businesses in Nigeria for us to do with peace of mind as of now.
..To be continued from next post!
NOTE: PLEASE YOU CAN DROP YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON THIS THREAD AND I'LL SEND YOU FREE AFFILIATE MARKETING EBOOK. ALSO, KINDLY SEND ME YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS AFTER READING THE GUIDE.
pls kindly send the ebook to my email.

God bless you richly

Please I have noticed with dismay how a lot of Christians lay curses on people at the slightest provocation. I'm not here to say it's bad or good. But I think it is madness to know that something will not work and still do that thing and expect it to work.

If you want to know if you have the power to curse someone and it'd come to pass, try your power on the transformers in your village by commanding it to produce constant electricity for your village people. If you can command a transformer to do that, then know that you can really curse a human being and it'd come to pass. but if your power cannot work on ordinary man-made transformers how then will it work on a human being created by God? Make una think na.
