Good day friends. I opened a thread here on the 3rd of April this year about hemorrhoid surgery asking for suggestions, how to go about it and all that.

Well, the operation was carried out successfully and I've recovered fully. I would've post this before now but I was actually taking my time nursing the wounds and been careful you know lol..

To those who prayed for me, may God bless you abundantly.

Finally, to everyone reading this, if you're suffering from external hemorrhoid what so ever the grade is, or you have friends or relations that are suffering from the same thing, please it's very important to see a doctor. If the doctor recommend surgery, don't be afraid is for your own good. I've never heard of someone that didn't make it after the surgery nor any complain of same thing after the operation. Remember, health is wealth.

Just get on with the surgery and look at the other end of the surgery. its a an opportunity for a new lease on life, be thankful to God that they can do it, some people have issues the doctor just says sorry, Go to india. Dont worry bro, God will help you.

Dont self medicate and stop taking these herbs that could cause something untreatable on the long run yet financially draining.....you are honestly in my prayers..

HI Tope, I will not advice you to go for surgery. Before we go further, am a natural healer, I will like you to ask you some questions:
1. Are you always constipated?
2. Do you eat alot of processed foods?
3. Do you drink enough water
4. do you eat enough plant based diets and vegetable.
Answer these questions and we can start from there.
REMEMBER, surgery will not cure it because there are hiddens causes and once we identify those causes, with time you will be okay. Most times the herbal practitioners do not put lifestyle into consideration while giving treatment.

As a student of one of Nigeria tertiary institution, National Health insurance Scheme (NHIS) will cover the cost. But if there's any other thing outside that, I'll let you know.

Haermorrhoidactomy or what name do they call that surgery. I have gone under knife twice because of it. First time, it was successful but had post-surgical complication while the wound healed and needed a reconstructive surgery. I was told the first surgeon tied down my splincter muscle and always had pain while I went to toilet. The surgery is a simple, minor one, nothing to fear. I have been living quite fine since though I have adjusted my diet to avoid future occurrence. Like any surgery, it is painful most especially while your anus heals and you need to toilet. However, nothing to fear. Its one of those things you need to go through in life to live healthy and happy. Don't listen to those local medicine proponents who try to scare you away. They tried same with me. Trust your doctor. Cheers!

I know about two different people that have done it and came out successful. Don't be scared about the surgery. It is normal to be apprehensive but I would advise that you discuss your concerns with your Doctor, and pray about it.

It is natural to be apprehensive about the planned surgery.

However it is wise to discuss your concerns/reservations with your doctor before the actual surgery. Your doctors expert responses should guide you accordingly.

But I am positive that you will come out fine.
