were you the one that imported it? if you buy from a car stand and very sure its oil was not changed in Nigeria, there is no need changing it for now

I bought it from a dealer her in Naija, I didn't import it myself. Although when I bought it and was doing some minor fixes, I noticed mud underneath, meaning it must have been driven around in Lagos or environs for a while before I bought, aside that car is in top shape and performs very well.

Then stick with the Mobil oil you have been using.

Your car is doing just fine with it.

Change it regularly since you do e hailing.

Check your owners manual for frequency which correlates to the type of driving you do.

How do you mean by burning oil? If you mean the oil running out fast, I'd say No.
I did servicing 2nd week of December last year before I traveled to the East for the Yuletide and now it's just a lil above the second line on the dipstick. I use the car for e-hailing too.

It's a 4plug, 2005 Toyota Camry aka Big for nothing. I bought it last year January 2022.
The mileage was about 155k when I bought but it's now 160k plus in mileage.

I have been using my Toyota Camry since last January, bought it Tokunboh. How do I know when to change the gear oil or have it serviced? The car drives smoothly with no issues.

Mechanical gurus in the house. I drive a Toyota Camry 2005, 4plugs. Please what is the best Engine oil to use for the servicing of the car. I would love expert.advice for synthetic and non synthetic oils.
I have been using Mobil 5W 20 but someone said Mobil is no longer good that the oil burns out fast.
What other good oil can be used as my servicing is due.

What apps/softwares/training videos can I install on the laptop to help boost her accounting career.

My kid brother's Toyota Camry 2005 model is having the same gear issue. Initial problem was gear not entering reverse,he took a loan to get a new gear at Ladipo market, recommendation from his neighbor and friend. After the new gear was replaced, car has never been the same.
The car jerks intermittently, idles a lot and sometimes seems as if the car is dying down,if you depress the accelerator pedal,nothing happens and seconds later the car jerks forward and shoots with speed.
Other times while in motion,it would not accelerate more than 30-40km on the speedometer and when accelerator is stepped upon,the engine revs as if it is static and you are warming it up. It's been frustrating for him. He took it back,left it with them for about 3 days,but the problem still persists.
The person who sold the gear to him and the mechanic says when it circulates ,whatever rubbish that is,that the car would return to normal movement but I see that as arrant rubbish. I have told him to take the car back and have them fix it properly or have the gear changed.
Please what can he do? Is there any good mechanic that can help solve the car's problems?
