Btw, Init, how does the OTG cable and the card reader work?

OTG cable - The On The Go cable is used to connect plug and play device to the phone e.g Mouse, Gamepad, Keyboard, Modem, Flash drives, etc to provide additional support.

The Card reader is self-defined; it is an adapter for the microSD card in which you can put the microSD card into the slot at the bottom of the card reader then connect the card reader to a USB hub for easy access/transfer of files on the microSD card.
