Yoruba women and owambes

If you are married to a Yoruba woman that loves party (most of them do anyways), get ready to buy asho ebi every week, very very important. It's part of their culture

Romance / Re: Would You Accept A Break Up Gift? by inme: 11:13pm On Dec 27, 2014
nieema:
I've been trying to end my 2 year relationship for a few months. There are several reasons but the MAIN reason is that I am NOT happy with myself. I need to make some adjustments to improve my life and I need some space to refocus. I love him but I don't NEED to be in a relationship at this time with anyone. We promised each other that we would always be honest about how we were feeling. I reminded him of this when I tried to break things off six weeks ago. I told him that I would still be there for him if he needed anything. I respect him but I need to take care of some things in my peronal life that require my full attention.
I proposed that we go back to being friends but he rejected my offer. Even though we started as friends he said he isnt willing to have a friendship with me if I end the relationship. I don't think it's fair because I've been genuinely good to him. After much consideration and further frustration, I've decided to break it off tonight face to face. At the moment he is having some financial difficulties and I plan to gift him 40k to help ease the sting. I hope he undersatands that I sincerely care for him as I refocus on my own life.
Would you guys/ladies feel better if your honey left you with a break up gift?..or no??

@Bolded, this is the reason why you want to end the relationship, forget the long story

If he was doing well and have all the money to lavish on you, you would never want to leave his side for a moment.

Money over everything, I mean EVERYTHING

Typical Nigerian. Know the truth, but don't speak... Quit deceiving yourselves. It's a common knowledge to us from SS that Yoruba women cheat alot

Where I come from, if the wife cheat on her husband with another man, it's either the husband dies mysteriously or the children dies the same way.

Since I came to Lagos I noticed it's a different culture. Adultery is common amongst the Yoruba people. No matter how hard it is for the Yorubas to accept that, it's the fact. I for one, it will take something extra-ordinary for me to marry a Yoruba. I am from SS btw.

The place where I live, it's common to see Yoruba women sleeping around and their husband doing the same.

Romance / Re: Feeling Guilty After The Breakup by inme: 8:31pm On Sep 28, 2014
Thank you guys for your comments. I will take the positives from here.

For those that said she's tired of relationship and was waiting for me to call the shot, I don't think that's right

We've been together since March, she spent her quality time with me, she's always shown that she loves me.

She carry me along in everything she does . . .

As human, we all have blemish, that's the part of her I am not cool with.

And I feel I cannot spend the rest of my life with such woman.

I could play along and pretend everything was fine when I know inside of me I am not cool with her attitude.

We've been talking about settling down . . . I didn't want her to be let down at the tail end

satope1: Hehehe...you don't even know what you want.

I know you want her to beg you. you were expecting she would continously beg you after the first call.

Dont go calling her except you are ready to do away with your ego.

If you feel she's still worth it, then get her back. You know her number just call her and tell her you wanna see her. Men discuss issues not walk out dishonarably. Your actions were childish. If she stills feels you she would gladly come back.

Thanks bro

I am not waiting for her to beg me, at least I expect her to feel sorry for what she did.

@Bolded . . . I think I am going to call her then so we can talk about it
Romance / Feeling Guilty After The Breakup by inme: 4:36pm On Sep 28, 2014
I broke up with my Girlfriend 3 weeks ago. I was no longer comfortable with her attitude, so I sent her a text message that I was quitting the relationship. I was really upset that night when I sent the text, she tried calling me back that same day, but I didn't pick up.

Since then she hasn't called or sent a text message. But inside of me, I have been feeling guilty and all that. . . I feel I dumped her and I didn't give her a chance for us to talk things over. Even though we are going to break up, it shouldn't be that way.

HOW DO I GET OVER THIS GUILT?

NB: I honestly would like the relationship to end. But I am also ready to give us another chance

Rossikk: He doesn't deserve FCU.K ALL until he explains why he refused to dive for Messi's freekick (and no, ''I didn't see the ball'' is NOT an excuse), and till he explains why he GIFTED the ball to the French scorer when he could have punched away the ball.

WE DO NOT TRUST YOU ENYEAMA. SAME AS KESHI AND YOBO. DID SOMEBODY PAY YOU GUYS TO THROW GAMES??

YOU CAN FOOL SOME OF THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME, BUT NOT ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. CORRUPT, MORALLY BANKRUPT PEOPLE. KESHI, WHY DIDN'T YOU BRING ON UCHEBO AND NWAFOR WHEN THINGS WENT AWRY IN THE SECOND HALF? YOU JUST SAT THERE LIKE A GOAT AS THE FRENCH WOKE UP. WHO PAID YOU TO BE USELESS IN THAT GAME? BASTAR/DS WHO CARE ABOUT ONE THING ONLY - MONEY. YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS ARE STUFFED WITH MILLIONS YET YOU WOULD NOT PLAY FOR YOUR COUNTRY TILL THEY PAID YOU $10,000. HOW MUCH DID FOREIGNERS ALSO PAY YOU TO LOSE THOSE GAMES? WE KNOW YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR MONEY.
