HealthRe: Cost Of IVF In Nigeria by Inspired4life: 10:17am On Aug 22, 2013
Blendy77: I almost didn't want to write anythg again when I read Safe's post earlier on. This is because she has said all that needs to be said concerning all ur questions but then, I decide to write a very popular pastor's testimony so you will know that even our pastors who preach faith 24/7 also help themselves with modern technology when the need arise. The pastor heads one of the biggest church in warri around ajamogha road. His first wife didn't have a child for him for several years that they were married. Eventually the wife died and the pastor remarried one very beautiful, God-fearing and bubbling Lagosian. His new wife obviously knew the long delay Bishop had with his first wife and didn't waste time in urging him to embrace modern technology. When church members were told Bishop and Mama were blessed with a set of tripplets, those that want to murmur, murmured that Mama was not seen with pregnancy but the babies look exactly like her so what happened? A lot of the learned ones needed nobody to tell them that Mama and Papa used surrogates abroad to carry their babies and they were blessed with triplets. If u see those kids today, after 7yrs, my sisters, u too will join them in thanking God for putting that kind of idea in Mama's head cos they are just too cute and adorable and every inch like Mama. They were even used for church calender the year they were born. Shey this couple now lack faith or will u say they have committed sin after discovering their challenge and were able to use modern technology to help themselves? Of course NOT! It was God who gave mankind this knowledge to help His people who will need extra help to procreate and replenish the earth because His word has said 'NONE SHA BE BARREN IN THE LAND'. Am sure you wont expect this Pastor to preach surrogacy and ivf in church. Its faith all the way!

Winnersh and others who feel modern tech is a sin, I hope I have partly answered ur question?
God bless you for this. Always very practical. I was also attending the church before moving to Lagos so I know the story very well.
FamilyAre You Sticking To Your New Year Resolutions? by Inspired4life(op): 3:17pm On Jan 07, 2013
Well, it's January 7th already. If you made any New Year's resolutions, how are they holding up so far?

I won't get into my specific resolutions, but out of the five big ones I made, one is not going well, two are just okay, and the others are actually going better than I had hoped. I can't wait to see where I am in another six days!

How are yours goinghuh

Blendy77 any day for giving out so much information on IVF and infertility. Always willing to answer nairalanders on phone, emails even if it means calling you with her credit just to ensure you come out a positive result. Most people won't understand until you meet her one-on-one. Even if you don't win, you have been an inspiration to me and most families on NL. Thanks!

PoliticsRe: Jail Is Too Good For Nigerian Pastors by Inspired4life:
There are real Pastors and there are fake Pastors. Not everyone is called. Some were called into ministry by God while others called themselves due to financial benefits. Many are called, but few are chosen so we need to employ discernment in our judgement and criticism of men of God.

Chelsea is arguably the only club where managerial instability is a way of life!!!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: State University Graduates Vs Federal University Graduates, Nigeria by Inspired4life: 5:13pm On Nov 03, 2012
Nigeria's Federal and State universities are products of the educational decadence occasioned by poor funding and incessant disruption of academic calendar due to strikes. Nigerian universities are poorly ranked globally. Be that as it may, and from my experience employers in Nigeria are not too choosy when it comes to university, rather they are choosy when it comes to grade and course. So the onus is on you to prove yourself as equal opportunity will be given to both federal and state university graduates to prove themselves in your prospective employer's recruitment test.
