Kpoikpoi:Thank you... We are our own problem, one claimed to buy $250 door, the other claimed $120 undies... while we complain that exchange rate is high when you a throwing it away for products you have in your country. This country is just irritating.. |
This is disheartening really... And these thieves still go ahead to represent us in the international world seeking donations and Grants for poor Nigerians.. |
But we have ghanians here operating same scale & type of businesses in Nigeria... |
We have them... it's just on a cabal level now. |
What fee would you be charging for registration?... If property owners put up vacant houses on your platform, wont you directly be taking the commission charge since you would automatically be the middle agent on a platform imposed on the public? What difference does it make that someone registered on the platform cant still defraud an individual?.. Would this not amount to killing off small scale rental agencies? This is just Business monopoly in disguise, we should be enacting ways of creating jobs and not closing up the available ones. |
Peter Obi, vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 presidential election, says people in power do not get told the truth. Obi spoke on Friday as a guest speaker at the first convocation of Chrisland University, Abeokuta. Speaking on ‘Creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship: A critical intersection for economic development in Africa’, Obi said the challenges besetting the country are many. He noted that the failure of the leaders to invest in education and entrepreneurship led the country to its present economic state. He blamed the leaders for their roles in promoting corruption. “The truth is that in Nigeria, the problem is over 75%. The country has been criminalised. Quote me, I am talking from experience of somebody who had served, I was there for eight years,” he said. “What I found in Nigerians and your parents here, including me, I am a victim of that, I was governor for eight years, you can hardly see anybody who tells you something is wrong. “Everybody calls you his excellency, that since you came, things have changed, even, when you know that nothing has changed. “It is just that we have a government that has criminalised the society and people celebrate criminality. So, nobody could say to them, stop. “Those who steal, if they come to church they will give them front seats, so, why would they not steal? They are the ones who are given chieftaincy tittles, they are the ones who get tittles in the world. So, we need to change all that.” He urged the youth not to “toe the lines of the previous leaders in the country”. https://www.thecable.ng/peter-obi-nigeria-nobody-the-truth-power/amp

You could have just said... choose between known thieves and unknown thieves.. |
This is a gang-up against the Fulani in this country or something they are doing to try to deny the Fulani their existence, make them lose all their means of livelihood.Seriously.... |
iammo:Guru of business.. What about depreciating value..? Arrest and seizure? Accident and misdeaminour? Parts and repairs.? Driver replacements and weeks lost? Stolen bikes? Govt policy change on bikes? It's no bed of Rose anywhere.. |
helinues:If we give in to online banters, it goes both ways.. |
The governor explained that instead of some neighbouring countries to develop policies to grow their own economies rather they engaged in things that undermined the Nigerian economy. Now Benin has increased its duty on rice to earn appropriate tax because the dumping ground has closed its door.. To the Ghanians crying more than the bereaved on Nairaland.. I honestly believe we need each other, but at the rate you propagate your not needing Nigeria, your president really does not need to send money to truckers at the border while your ministers are pleading with the Nigerian FG. |
helinues:If you go SE, like netpro said... you have secured SS,SE,SW as a bloc, the fight is left to penetrate the North even if the PDP goes North. The Onus is still on picking reasonable people. |
Kagame is really pushing Rwanda big.... He got Free Visa for Qatar, while we got Free Visa for Diplomatic passport to Vietnam.. Who uses Diplomatic Passport if not those who dont even need Visa in the first place because most are dual citizens with better countries already.. |
Bonatheripper:It's either you need help or you are just seeking attention.. |
That is how it's done... a stitch in time saves nine.. |
Why are we complaining... ? We voted the person that brought them back.. |
They know deep investigation would have them reeling contract figures and disbursements... Anything to protect lagos Financials from the public. |
Maybe when it gets to the top, we would know how serious insecurity is right now in the country. |
sarrki:Ordinary meeting is hurting you like this... |
How do people beg you to ruin you.... |
If your goods is that important to the neighbouring country, use the SEA and adjust prices as neccessary.. same for the ones importing into Nigeria. |
Kills goat spreads the blood on one old calabash sprinkled with watercolour with kolanut inside.. when you leave... prepares Nkwobi with the lifeless goat.. ![]() |
Why is he talking like a new incoming governor.. |
SE fast learning Nigerian politics... |
Hmmm |
Afamed:It baffles me we are not talking about salaries being owed but increase in salary... was it eventually not increased after series of discussions same as the NLC is going about with FG on minimum wage?.. |
djdutch:Which made Anambra state Government a major share holder of 30% stake in sabmiller, its public knowledge and the state reaps major profit, which is why HERO beer is the most common in the SE which the state keeps promoting because of its vested interest. Is the ADB not headed by Adesina today and granting loans in billions to Nigeria? The question should be, the states that received more and still owed salaries despite not a single notable lifetime investment in the name of the state aswell as savings, what did they do with it? People dont love OBI for nothing... |
Afamed:But they were never owed salaries... He approved 50% against the 100% promised secluded to just Anambra. How many Governors in his time did same? |
Shawnnn01:So what did kadiri expose about Obi?... deport beggars?... What if the beggars had always wanted to go home but could not afford it?. |
