Good points.I can admit that I was wrong on a few points. I will just say this ,because there are so many different avenues in the medical industry, everyone should research the specific path that is applicable to them. When I say research I mean a reputable source which is the goverening agencies. I know that the nursing credentialing process is different than pharmacy, such as they are both different than doctors credentialing. All I was saying is that someone in the U S who wants to be a pharmacist today needs to have pharm d which is 8 yrs of education vs a bachelor's. From Nigeria or US? pharmD is 6 years in Nigeria, university of Benin to be precise. 3 Likes |

Regardless you may have to start over again with any of these degrees from Nigeria. Competition is tight here in the states , I know this because I work in the healthcare field. A lot of people especially Nigerians like to put out misconceptions about theses fields especially nursing. What are you implying ?? |

FrankNetter: Regarding my previous post about my tuition being paid by UPS, I’ve completed the application, been invited for an interview and I’m currently awaiting my start date. I have also put in my two weeks notice at my current CNA job.
I'm wondering why u decided to switch to nursing. Why didn't u gun for medicine instead since that was what u were studying before you left 9ja ?? Wouldn't that have been be better paying and less stressful at the end of the day compared to nursing ?? 2 Likes |

@franknetter quick questions.
Between nursing and pharmacy which pays more in the state?
Which is more in demand/ for more job opening?
Which will be easier for a Nigeria graduate to migrate with and get a job with good hourly pay?
Which is considered more prestigious??
Thanks much... I await your reply... |

u wont understand , u just came into the system,in AAU , u dont just enter into 300l like other school does,u write what we call PRE_MBBS at the end of ur 200l if u pass before u can be in 300l, nd before u will be eligible to write MBBS part 1 NEXT 2 years,
do u know that in AAU, 2014 set have not written their MBBS part 1, before they write it 200l must write pre_mbbs first, meanwhile in other schools like uniben, 2014 set have written their MBBS part 1 and have resumed 400l(clinicals) since this year APRIL, HOPE U ARE UNDERSTANDING NOW nd 2015 set in uniben will be writing their MBBS part 1 next year january which means by march or APRIL they will resume clinicals but 2015 set in AAU have not even written pre_mbbs they are still 200l(A) which means 2015 in UNIBEN will might even first 2014 set in AAU to enter 400l
IN SCHOOLS LIKE UNN the 2017 set nd AAU 2015 set will graduate together that is someone that gained admission in 2015 in AAU, will graduate with the person that gained admission in 2017(ur set )in UNN,UNICAL, UNIUYO , UI etc (hope u now see the diff)
and hope u have seen the fees? thats what u will be paying till u graduate
WELCOME TO AAU COLLEGE OF MEDICINE
Between unical and uniben, which is faster and more superior. I say "superior" because I read somewhere that graduates of uniben and few other top federal uni wouldn't need to write any exam bfor practicing in the Caribbean (a country like Trinidad and Tobago) Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. |

Religion / Re: Is It Impossible For God To Grow Back Amputated Limbs? by investorD: 10:56am On Aug 06, 2017 |
oluafolabi: A good evening to all religious folks.
So I was on twitter this evening and I saw a tweet from a follower of mine asking why 'pastors' and 'miracle workers' alike haven't accepted the challenge to perform miracles under well examined conditions.
I knew his challenge would easily be discarded by the believers using the bible verse 'Thou shalt not test thy Lord thy God' . Then it suddenly occurred to me , there is an acceptable form of miracle that could be verified and will put to rest every argument about miracles being fabricated. 'The healing of an human with amputated limbs' .
Then I wondered, why haven't we seen/heard a miracle being performed on anyone with amputated limbs?
Is it because such type of miracle would be impossible to fabricate?
Or does it mean the God that could supposedly raise up dead people, make blind see, make the deaf hear (and other usual miracles we get to hear about) finds it difficult to perform a simple regeneration of cells and bones?
Is it impossible?
If impossible, wouldn't it become a contradiction to the common biblical saying that 'There is nothing impossible for God' ?
I would like enlightened religious folks to educate me and provide references if possible.
Thank you. And Happy new year in advance. Good day sir. Can I have ur whatsapp contact? |

lomaxx: Ok this is what I'm gonna do I'm gonna categorize all thr soft copy links from preclinical to final year All the books you're gonna need Both Indian and others. You heard me right- Indian books. -You can have Vasudevan, Charteajea , Sembulimgam , Harsh Mogan all in clean soft copy. So drop your mails while I find start work.
May I use this time to say that as a medical student, a tablet is a must-have. You need it. If you have money, buy an iPad, bcause the battery life is flawless. The iPad 4 has a battery capacity of over 11,000 mah. If you're just using it to read without browsing, you could go for 4days without charge.
If you don't have money so much, buy a good tablet with a decent battery life. Tecno pads have decent battery life. Samsung too.
With a tablet you can have so many books at your disposal. Instead of buying one book and being limited, you can have as many as 4. It gives you an advantage over ur peers. And best if all, you can read anywhere.
Good luck guys. I'll get back to y'all. Dr Lomaxx please I need your help here. Majesticdavidwealth@gmail.com Thankyou. |
